O’Sullivan is head and shoulders above nearly every player in the game. Selby, Higgins and Trump give him a test sometimes but the rest are just also rans I’m afraid. Frightening when you think he is 47 years old and looks like he could go another 10 years if he can be bothered to. Best break builder, safety player, front runner, clearance specialist, cue ball control and the list goes on. We will never see the likes of him again in our lifetime. Great editing and keep up the good work 👍👌

Summed it all up there. Looking at him today at the Shanghai masters I thought he looked old for the first time. Let’s hope he keeps going for as long as possible. Most 147s, centuries etc etc. The only thing I would say his some others are slightly better at safety shots. Slightly 😉

My two favourite players. Every time they play there is tension in every shot. I got to see them play at the Crucible years ago, the highlight of my snooker life. Made coming home to a 100-year-old snooker table with old cushions a bit anticlimactic. So it goes.

For his age Leo is a decent referee, but he's made some mistakes in last few years that tell me he should have retired already. Also, i never understand what's up with Carter - i don't dislike him, but why can't he relax? He's not at the very top, but with different attitude he might be closer to it.
Have to say, i never ever watch short-format matches except on this channel.. the careful and skillful editing makes all the difference. And i even watch these when i've seen the full match live, like in this case, and have it recorded. Also seems to me that even with this huge channel, Cesar still reads all the comments which is a very nice touch.

It went wrong for Carter after that dubious free ball which turned the match around for Ronnie and started a string of misses for Carter. Too hard and they stayed out, too soft and they stayed over the pocket. An angry approach doesn't work under pressure. Just have to accept it and try to move on. Easier said than done.

Many players can beat O'sullivan on the night, but none can be as good as him on sheer records, centuries, and total shots he can make that others can only make some of them. His precision is better than Davis and Hendry and he can pick apart a messy closed table and win from that position most times and more than his rivals.
