idk about this squad. there was a game against czech republic where the US attacked the goal almost all game, and couldn't score. maybe the goalie was just really good though

I think it's more a case that the world women's game is developing a lot. Previously the US was pretty much the only country where it was played extensively by women. In my country (England) 10 years ago noone talked about women's football, girls who took it seriously went to do scholarships in US universities. Now there is a structure here, a proper league that now actually gets some sizeable crowds and some real TV interest. That just didn't exist before.
