Some amazing performances at the nobel ceremonies. I love Anna Von Hausswolf doing "Courage" and Susanne Sundfor singing "White Foxes". Anna here is also sweetly majestic.

This song is perfect for imagining it being sung by the spirit of the laureates who labored for years and years on the same problems, challenges, and experiments. They had to believe so hard for so long, never knowing if it would lead to quite where they hoped. They just had to keep believing, and one day, without announcement, it came. By then, they were completely different from the person they were when they started. All life is different now. Decades have passed. Here they are. This is life now. The Nobel is a consolation, but who won it? The them they are now? The person they were then? Or simply just the work? Either way, they stand atop a mountain now, lonely, at the epitome of humanity’s achievements, hoping someone will come up to join them soon.
