Coop, Norway: Automated logistics center for leading Norwegian grocer

Coop Norge SA, Norway's second-largest grocery chain, has 28,000 employees, eight chains, and 1,250 stores and department stores. Its non-food division, Coop Faghandel, built an automated logistics center in Langhus, outside Oslo.
Swisslog was chosen as a partner for the automated logistics center. Its solution is designed to use all available areas in the warehouse as efficiently as possible, and consists of an automated high-bay warehouse, conveyor system, picking locations and an automated light goods warehouse.
