Michel, I truly applaud you for embracing positive body image such as showing weight fluctuations especially healthy weight gain. Such an important message
I’d wash those before sleeping in them in case there is formaldehyde on them or other toxic chemicals.. I know a lot things that come from other countries are sprayed with chemicals to protect from moisture damaging fibers. I know Victoria’s Secret bras have formaldehyde but I’d be concerned with bedding.

I know some other comments mentioned this, but I really loved that you were able to accept & get rid of jeans that didn't fit the same way. I've been struggling with letting pants that are too small on me go for months, and this gave me a lot of hope. THANK YOU!

Proud of you for putting on a bit of happy healthy weight because you look amazing and glowing and healthy ! I recently had to go up a pant size because I’ve been lifting weights and it felt a little sad to have to get rid of so many pants… I think that’s kinda built into our mind as a bad thing but when it’s due to eating well and/or building some muscles, it’s a good thing! For a future declutter, try sitting down in jeans/trousers/shorts as well as part of a try on. Whole different level of fit check that clarifies which ones are actually wearable for real life.

I always have 2 sizes of pants in my closet. 10s and 12s. Even just week to week certain jeans fit better than others lol.

For some reason I distinctly remember when you got the sage green long sleeve linen that you got rid of. I remember you were with your mom and had also ordered her something similar in color.
I have to say, I wouldn’t get rid of the trench coats and dress coats. They are classics that never go out of style and are always a great addition to an outfit!! Those are something I’d love to have and always want another color or print. The Lulu jackets, too. I mean, they’d probably really come into play in California, especially in the cooler months. 😊
There is an amazing trick with hydrangeas after a couple of days when they droop. Cut the stem and put in boiling water. After an hour, put back in cold water. They will revive and look full again.

A tip for hydrangeas to bring them back from the dead, cut the ends off at an angle so they are fresh and can drink better then put them in hot water, as hot as the sink can get, for about 10 minutes, not sure why this works but it does 👍

I just recently did the same thing with my clothes- I finally went through and ruthlessley pulled out anything I had been keeping from a past season of life where I went into an office every day and things that were no longer comfortable on my body. It was a bit painful and SO tiring in the moment but it feels incredible to have the extra space in my closet and I rediscovered some really great things I had been overlooking. Change is good :)

I've been purging everything myself. It's a great feeling! Also, I sell EVERYTHING! Brand doesn't matter, previously thrifted doesn't matter, it all sells somewhere. If I donate it's to a local church thrift and not a large chain thrift, just a personal preference. I would rather sleep on sheets that someone I know and trust has slept on than new sheets that are unwashed. Funny how we all feel so different about things. Not sure any if it is right or wrong, just different. Thanks for another great and somewhat motivating video for me.

It's very generous of your friend to do 50%. I'm a reseller & I had to change my percentage for friends from 30% to 20% cause it wasn't worth my time. We have to wash, steam, photograph, list, store & ship the items. It's a lot more time consuming than you'd think.

I have cozy earth sheets too ! Aren’t they so amazing ?!!! And I was eyeing the same one for like ever too ! I ended up buying the blue harbor mist colored one. But currently I’ve got driftwood on my bed, It’s actually a pretty color. & my Husband is like obsessed with the sheets now too so it’s funny lol. But before that I had the driftwood color on the bed. I also got their lounge wear & it’s by far the softest thing ever. It’s like the Matching pants and sweater it’s like so so super soft and super cute and you can wear it out or just lounge around in it, It’s very cooling as well. Sorry if I mention something you already answered in the video sometimes I miss parts of it lol.

Look for curvy styled jeans. They’ll hug your hips and not gap in the waist. I was so glad I found those styles.

Omg Michel you never have to eat stale tortilla chips again! I spritz my stale chips with some neutral oil and air fry at 360F for a couple min to revive them :)

I really enjoy watching your videos. I found you during the pandemic, I am also a former Texas gal. You inspire me to do things. For example, I need to seriously purge my closet. I’ve also pushed myself to travel more. I have a trip to Las Vegas next month and then heading out Charleston, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia in September. You’ve also given me ideas for my gluten-free friends. I try to always bring something that’s gluten-free to parties.
