I love this board, the shape and flex are very playful and fun, it’s my daily driver. my only complaint is the base is not as fast as I’d like and needs constant waxing.
Such a great review for such a fantastic board. Thank you for doing this. Any recommendation of a more twin shaped all mountain board with similar specs for East costs? I struggle to find the playfulness, fun to ride of the BRD with camber profile like C3 in a more twin oriented all mountain board that grips hard/icy snow.
Thanks! If you want a twin with the same camber profile as the BRD the Box Knife is the only one in the Lib line. It has that same early rise before the nose/tail that the BRD does. Magnetraction isn't as aggressive as some Lib Tech boards but it does do very well in hard to icy snow. It's very similar to the BRD. Check out our review.
Thanks for the review. This board sounds super fun! I’m deciding between the BRD or the GNU Gremlin for tree runs, powder, and side hits - just curious if you have a recommendation? I ride mostly in the Pacific Northwest and am 5’8” 150 lbs, with a size 9 boot
Sorry! soo backlogged right now. Hoping to get it up late season but it might be longer if we get the 2024 model for extended demo with the new top sheet.
I appreciate the time, effort and detail you put into your reviews. I’m considering this or the k2 passport and would like to know which one you recommend for forty-seven year old knees on hard micro bumpy snow and how much better the brd grips if at all. I’m torn between grip and dampness as I only take my alchemist out on soft snow days. Thanks in advance for your help.
Many thanks. This would compliment the Alchemist very well as it can handle hard snow very well. If the knees are bad make sure you have bindings and boots that are very cush/shock absorbent and damp. I don't know enough about you to help any further so if you want more detailed advice hit me up here. shop.thegoodride.com/merchandise/gear-advice/

Thanks for your take and aggreed. Wish they still made this.

No problem. Yeah go BRD for what you want to do. The Gremiln is a great board but the 156 BRD's strengths play to what you want to do more.
The greatest board of all time. In powder, if you can think it and feel it, you can do it. Dream board.
Thanks for your take.
When will you be uploading the updated Dynamo review? Thanks

@@thegoodridesnow Understood and thanks again for the advice.
I was debating between this jones flagship or the magic bm and decided on this mainly for pow.
Those are 3 massively different rides. Hope you like it as much as we did.
@@thegoodridesnow definitely different but I’m going with the brd mainly for pow.
@@thegoodridesnow did you guys like the jones in pow?
Yes. Check the review. Really like the new set back inserts.
@@thegoodridesnow I actually picked up a k2 instrument and capita navigator.
