- Why Eminem Is The Greatest Rapper Alive!
In 2011, Rolling Stone Magazine named Eminem the king of hip-hop. This naturally faced a lot of resistance from fans who favored other artists.
In October 2017, the online voting site www.ranker.com reaffirmed this by voting Eminem the Greatest Rapper of All Time.
While there can be legitimate reservation over the choice especially considering the contribution of other artists like Tupac and Biggie, Eminem is definitely the greatest alive.
This video lists some reasons why. #Rediknow #DailyDigest #Eminem - Розваги
Eminem isn't the greatest rapper alive . In my opinion he is actually
Indeed the Greatest of all time.
Jay Jay I see you on all eminem videos!! Yo here in America alot of blacks say they don't like eminem but clearly that ain't true because I know alot of colored that love Eminem and after his newest album I see ALOT ALOT UA-camrs who are not white loving the new album. So just wanted your opinion. You are from UK if I remember correctly from past comment of yours
@@alanawrisley2860 well I can't speak on behalf of every black person in the US or the UK but I'll give u my opinion. Eminem is the goat.
For me unlike alot of black Americans I don't care about him being white. I care about dope lyrics and delivery
And Eminem is the best emcee to ever grace a mic and his pen game is untouchable. I feel like the only reason Eminem isn't considered the goat by some blacks is either their just not into Eminem or their
Closet racists. And because hip hop was created by the black man some blacks don't want to admit or acknowledge that Eminem a white guy does it better than any black rapper. Also feel that if Eminem was black mark my words every black person in America would be D riding and would consider him the Muhammad Ali of hip hop. Now that's my opinion.
Jay Jay you said it, eminem will never be considered the best because black people cant accept a white man to rule. Which doesnt have to sound racist by me or them. Its just the way it is though its simply statistics and fluid thoughts.
Alana Wrisley is that opposed to ignoramus uncoloured people such as yourself?
For future reference don’t call black people coloured. It’s highly offensive & Nobodys more coloured than you white folk.
I’m not sure why it matters the colour & location of people that like or dislike your favourite rapper. Its music & the convo is highly irrelevant.
But to answer your question, Eminem is one of the greatest, but hasn’t put out a 5* album since Encore.
Why he continues to sell so much despite that, is more relevant to me.
Any suggestions Mr. Uncoloured?
That's not opinion that's fact Eminem=goat
Eminem gave a voice to people who were not the norm. The outcasts who didn't feel included. I wasn't a gangster. I was goofy, bullied, and had morbid sense of humor. It was very easy for me to become a fan.
Well said I only started to get into to rap/hip hop because of em and 50 cent when I started having to grow up in the city many years ago.
Schwana Price your dumb then lol..
@@alexsar4852 nice. You really got him
@@julienb5925 We all have listen to all the great pillar rappers and I'm sorry Em always delivers. Sorry, you're too stupid to see that.
@@julienb5925 I started listening to rap that wasn't eminem and I had my favorites. When I actually started listening to Eminem it wasn't bc he was white and so am I, it's bc of his content and the shit was would say and how fast he could spit that shit out. The disses and the humor all while just being so perfectly put together. Man's a genius.
You had great points. But I think a better argument for Em being the Greatest is he's out done Everyone. He's the Bestselling Artist of the 21st Century, Worldwide. 3rd most Streamed of All Time, 1 of 4 artists to sell 100 +M digital, 3rd most Viewed UA-cam and 3rd most subbed. The man has gained over 12M this year! He sits at 34M. He's the 5th most followed artist on Spotify. This stuff started 11 yrs into his career. All his major label albums have been nominated for a Grammy with 6 of the 7 winning. Almost every rapper places him top 5, 3, 1. Rakim, Redman, Andre 3K, Talib Kweli, Jay-Z, Nas, Kendrick, Cole, Kanye, Wayne. Even the lil's love him lol. He disappeares for long periods, no big chart features, no big public appearances, rarely tours, doesn't uses social media much, etc yet dropped a surprise album and it went #1in 103 countries. Summary - He's one of The Greatest Artists of All Time.
Damn you did a great job explaining that much love!
Livia Kai he is the greatest rapper alive or dead PERIOD. I think Tupac and Biggie, especially biggie, is overrated. Study their lyrics and you will see how most of their songs are simple rhymes.

Buga Voorhees - That’s true, but you have to admit that only one lose is its own accomplishment. Especially given how long he spent as a battle rapper.
I hate how people bring up a “bad” album as an excuse to say that an artist is bad. One album DOES NOT define how good and successful an artist is
And it went platinum. It was a bad album by anymeans. But by eminem means it was considered bad. But if lil xan put out a platinum album everyone will lose their shit.
It wasn't just one album lol.

There were two emcees, one was rapping in a high pitched voice, about murderous rampages, legit suicide attempts, lewed sex acts, legit drug abuse/addiction, issues with his stepfather, and was sent to a psych ward for a two week evaluation, but kept for two years after his mother convinced a judge he had mutliple personality. The other emcee rapped like AZ and Nas on an album called The Infinite...his name was Eminem. After copying the previously mentioned members of The Firm, Marshall Mathers a.k.a Eminem, jacked the style and subject matter of NYC underground emcee, Cage Kennylz...and created Slim Shady. He became a cartoon gimmick of Chris Palkos real life, and became a superstar through shock rap, and dressing up like a woman from time to time. While he is extremely talented, he tends to make very corny music...rapping about putting gerbils up his ass comes to mind. After blowing up, he completely shunned the underground and signed 50 Cent and G-Unit. Obviously he knew a rapper that had been shot 9 times, would be a great selling point for all his white suburban fan boys. He had 3 albums that sold an insane amount, and a hit movie, why not shine some light on emcees that respresented more of where he was coming from, rather than guys that were just more of the same? Yes, G-Unit made a lot of money and probably made Em feel tough when he chilled with them...but what about the superior lyricism that Em posses? Why didnt he want to bring up top not lyricists? Why did he not work with any white emcees that were tearing up the underground from 1998 to 2011? My guess to all of it, is insecurity. He beefed with Everlast and made a diss that contained 17 bars referring to a heart attack, 9 from Em alone...real creative. Then he dissed Evidence, even though he wasnt even on the song, Ear Drums Pop. Evidence hit him with Searching for Bobby Fisher, to no response. K-Rino also dissed him to no response. Then we get to MGK, another popstar for 13 yr old girls. What a list, do you see a pattern here? How about the fact that a guy who made a career out of mocking others, shut down Weird Al on his video for Couch Potato (Lose Yourself spoof)...claiming, it would damage his persona, oh the irony 😅😅😅. Em went from biting AZ and Nas, to Cage, Pacewon has called him out, and he was clearly influenced by Masta Ace and Redman. Now he's 46 and made Kamikaze. A documented childhood of constant relocation, breeds a mimicking personality out of a need to be accepted...and thats Em

Good video..i.m agree with the facts here, like impact, body of work,etc...Just to mention, that Em is Goat for me, mostly cuz he's best at putting words together, bars, rhyming and flow..+cadence, phonetics, spelling multi-syllabic rhymes, craziest metaphors,words..+ storytelling, funny, horror, fantasy and serious songs, variety production,beats..respect of hip-hop best, old and new talanted ones, speaking to everyone, the truth..∆∆∆
He's not the greatest alive he is the greatest of all times 🐐
I agree 💯
This shows how ill known you are to hiphop.
it shows that most people like you are indenial o who is the best ..EM
He is the greatest rapper alive, no one stands close. We have seen him stand up with Lil Wayne, Jay-Z. these guys are good but couldn't stand a chance
Patrick Chipeta Lil Wayne is the GOAT!!
@@alexsar4852 Tell me any song where Lil Waye stole the show, Lil wayne is very good but Eminem is in another dimension
Patrick Chipeta Wayne definitely Took Forever He was rigth on beat!! Em had a wierd verse talking a hole bunch of nothing and was off beat, Wayne took drop the world taking in consideration Wayne always freestyles!! And i won’t lie cuz I’m not bias Em definitely took No Love for sure but Wayne is the Goat simply because of his impact, influence and overall in hip hop.. Even Em respects Wayne.. Em has mentioned Wayne’s name in his music multiple times!!
@@alexsar4852 He has mentioned Lil wayne, Kanye, Jay-Z yeah, I like Lil Wayne but if it comes to bars even Lil wayne himself testifies
Lets talk about facts, in forever eminems verse changed the entire song
I been watching Eminems career since I was on the playground..since 98..
And I remember still reeling from the deaths of biggie and tupac and hearing slim shady lp and being so impressed I told the other kids to watch him.. he may become the greatest of all time...they all laughed like yeah right... Crazy to make a prediction like that on one listen and have it become a reality in your time
Eminem is definitely the best rapper in the world. No surpassing him in no category.
Excuse the fk outta me. I am White and i loved hip hop before em!
but then he never said "all" white people werent interested in rap
@@attila-man but he's saying white people weren't interested until him
Trace White he's saying "most" white people... watch it again and you'll see what I'm saying.
Me too, been a fan of rap since Sugar Hill Gang, Kool Moe Dee, Houdini, LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, Dana Dane, salt and pepper, MC Lyte, special t, Queen Latifah, RUN DMC, man the memories are flooding back that was the days. That's when rap was amazing....
Yes he's sooo wrong about rap's fan base before eminem, I won't say most white kids liked rap even thought that's how it was where I'm from (IOWA) but I know the majority of fans were white kids since the days of vanilla ice and Mc hammer which is why I stopped watching this video and gave it a 👎 I guarantee the dude that made this video wasn't even alive in the 90's.
me personally I been a fan since the late 80's thanks to acts like Dj Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince, Kid and Play, LL Cool Jay, Beastie Boys to name a few.
As a big Eminem fan I would have to disagree for one reason. I think he is *ONE OF THE* greatest rappers alive. (Notice the emphasis on the words “one of the”) I say this because that question has opinionated answers. Which also leads to my statement that I don’t think Eminem is *THE* G.O.A.T, I think he is *ONE OF THE* G.O.A.Ts. I personally would never put FOR EXAMPLE, Eminem above Mobb Deep nor Mobb Deep above Eminem. I would never put Eminem above Tupac as much as I would never put Tupac above Eminem. Thus going back to what I said earlier that the question “Is Eminem actually the greatest rapper alive?” is mostly opinionated.
However I am not denying his status in the current state of HipHop. You can say as much trash talk about him, but you can’t deny the fact that his Revival album went Platinum. Numbers don’t lie. I respect all opinions my guy.
I keep it 💯.
Never heard of Mobb Deep can you give me a good song so I can check them out?
@@valorantfaded shook ones is a great song to check out. also if you never heard of mobb deep then you are no hip hop fan😂😂😂
@@artellius7477 dumbest thing i’ve ever heard lmao

Just saying I started listening to Eminem on Spotify so I didn’t know what he looked like. So it didn’t matter if he was back or white, it was he’s talent that made me love him ❤️❤️
Love shaDy
Eminem is MJ of Rap
And Biggie is Allen Iverson of Rap
Agree 100%
Eminem songs are personal and so deep. it feels like he speaks to my pain when I listen to his music, I don't see that exist in many rappers nowadays and even before unfortunately, and he add some dark comedy in his songs sometimes which make it very funny to watch and listen. I think this the reason why so many people relate to his songs and that's why he's the greatest.
I like the video but man it is "etceTERa" not "essedra".
Do one on Tupac
I got you! It’s already in the works!
Thanks man
Why do one on pac, when this man clearly says em is the best rapper in the history of the world. Em will never measure up to back greatness. Whiteboy with a wave cap is wack and corny.
Steel Living “white boy” you mad cause he’s a white rapper better than most black rappers💀
1000% agreed
2021 he is still the legend
Yes, he is....... question answered.
Is this a rhetorical question??
He is greatest and doesn't match with anyone. what makes him better than other is not only the way he rap but the way his all songs connects with each one of us in many different ways. STAN ✌
Yes
How bout GZA, Aesop Rock, Canibus, MF DOOM, and Tech N9ne? Em is my favorite but I wanna know what y’all think about these guys.
Tech is like the biggest out of all of them, he’s a fast rapper and he collaborated with a lot of people putting their name on the map. Aesop Rock has been a figure in underground Hip Hop for 2 decades and supposedly has the largest vocabulary of any rapper.
Xyloh 18 lol ik I saw that, that shit hilarious.
Ranbir Singh Eminem actually been given the title of the rapper with the biggest vocabulary. He literally reads and studies the dictionary on his pastime.
EJ Padilla he’s the BIGGEST rapper with the biggest vocabulary. But actually Aesop Rock does have more vocab, you can look it up.
Hey.. 8:57.. U showed beef n u put a pic of mgk.. Man dat fool doesnt evn deserve dat honour.. Ja n benzino wer way better thn him..
Yeah they were but they were still not good enough
Yes I agree

Little did we know that
We riddled two middlemen
Who didn’t do diddly”
Totally agreed He is a legend & greatest rapper of all time..
I AGREE!!!!!
Eminem is the Greatest of all time, period. I apologise to anyone who is against this belief but that is jus the reality. We can talk about wat Pac n Biggie or Big L wud hav done if they were alive n all that. No disrespect to any of those greats but its time we wake up n be realistic here. Eminem is the whole package. A great MC, a great artist, a great lyricist, a great entertainer, a successful rapper. Its all of that mixed as one. Sure Em may not be a greater lyricist than some, or mayb not be a greater artist than some others. His albums wack or good still outshines n outsells most of the top rappers. He opened the door to a whole new level n perspective of hiphop the same door n perspective Pac, Biggie n Big L started. I donno how some people hate him or why. If ur a hiphop fan theres no way u wud say "he's overrated" or " he jus sells album cox he white". This is jus stupidity at its highest level. U can hate his music or some of his music, but u cannot hate the guy n take away somethin he deserves, n thats recognition. Old hiphop heads hav recognized him as a atleast top 5. Most of the good young rappers out here believe Em is a GOAT. So why bring in the race card into this. Why bring the "if pac was alive" into this. He deserves to be there up with the greatest, whys that so hard to accept?
Are u mad
