Anyone stating killshot isnt the best of the year is lost... simple let me explain.. story of adidon is 2nd because drake dropped scorpion and had #1s on billboards and sold alot of copies after the diss.. so it didnt hurt drake at all..and without the bar about drakes son that diss is dead.. killshot ended mgk.. he literally sold 20k copies of his binge ep.. which is terrible for an artist with his fan base.. MGk announced he will stop rapping for a lil to do acting after killshot.. so killshot had the most impact which makes it the best ...

- The comparison between Drake and his father, 2 deadbeat dads;
- The shots on Drake's mixed race insecurities, from the sample to the picture to the lyrics;
- The way Drake promotes the father that abandoned him while his mother is left aside;
- The fact his earnings are only a fraction of what he exposed publically, in reference to Birdman's extorsion and the way Drake initially defended him;
- The exposition of Drake's early affair Sophie Brusseau and How he tries to change her public imagem to avoid criticism about her past;
-The bait bars about OVO 40, that Drake couldn't resist and ended up looking evento more foolish than before.
When It comes to industrial impact, Killshot had more impact, but it's not the only criteria to define a great diss, "Ether" is considered one of the best disses of all time, but it didn't kill Hova's career. Now, if you like Killshot more, fair enough, but don't act like everyone should decide which one's better by your parameters.

@@Joelispresent I agree, it didn't matter when it comes to his music career, but as I said, impact is not the only factor to be considered on the quality of a diss. People (not you, just to be clear) made excuses for Drake's fuckups for years, I never expected to see his career being affected by the diss, but what I thought that would happen is that Drake would be offended deeply by it, which he showed to be the case already. Based on this criteria, I think SOA is better, but that's just my opinion, of course. At the end of the day, we got 2 great disses on their own rights.
Also, I forgot to mention the millions of dollars Drake lost after his deal with Adidas was cancelled, that also doesn't help Drake's ego lol
Honestly MGK'S fans is the real reason he lost. The question is where were they? Em had at least 2 or 3 bad albums but his fans backed him up while MGK is on the scene going at Em which took Balls I give him that and then the binge ep doesn't sell and most of his fans are silent. Binge was bad but they're supposed to back their mans up in that situation and they was absent.
