Like the fact that about 75% off the tall skyscraper are my preferred look, I don't really like the cladding but that's my opinion. I've always wanted to knock who's buying all these sytcrapere up because they aren't exactly cheap
Take a walk around the city centre. There is a wealth of impressive architecture most of it dating back to the Victorian period. Modern architecture is generic and lacks soul and imagination. But it is impressive in scale in a city like Manchester.
I think the transformation of Mcr is incredible, but you have to factor in some people are never satisfied, plus there seems to be a lot of jealousy around the city's redevelopment.
I also think some people are oblivious to the costs involved for such buildings, even the basic shaped ones, most English cities do not have them outside of London. For that reason, Manchester's growing skyline is significant and impressive, as is the pace at which it's happening. I'd have thought the big attention grabbing fancy sky scraper projects aren't the ones that get built first anyway because surely those are the ones that are built to stand out in an already crowded skyline?
Go for a walk in Manchester on a sunny day - it’s really nice. Point to note is that Barcelona looks like a shanty town from above - and look how beautiful that is to walk around.
Great stuff 👍 Its growing indeed.. Nice full lap.
Thanks for the update! 🙂👍 The Square Gardens/Downing group look very well together. Good granular view of the railway.
Great Video! It's showing the now semi-demolished Premier Inn and the beginning of the work started on Contour and Vista River Gardens. Brilliant 😃
To think what the city WAS like…..it has come on on leaps and bounds…great footage 👍🏻
It is what it is
Great video. Ancoats’s new buildings would have looked great too.
Imagine what it will be like in a few more years.
Remember when just Beetham Tower existed?! 🤣
Brilliant!!
Cheers mate - Subbed! Waiting for some drone footage on your Channel!

A Magician never reveals his tricks 😂😂😂
Looks like China

There isn't much architectural maginficence - just a mish-mash of block buildings, its not an attractive city.
