    Killer bait for the halibut is a glow Squid skirt , a paint roller sponge that fits inside the skirt and pro cure butt juice. Take the pro cure butt juice and load the sponge full then pull the squid skirt over the sponge . This will leave a oil slick that the halibut can smell from miles away. Wash down with Toothpaste to remove heavy scents

    Always down for new technology, but electric reels,completely against it. I believe in the true art of reeling in the fish, and I've also fished 500 ft.depths south of the Golden Gate north of Santa Cruz

    So dumb.. I wouldn’t feel accomplished at all catching a fish on an electric reel. Even the fisherman have gone soft. Sad.

    • @lemon-iu7bo
      @lemon-iu7bo 2 роки тому +5

      I think we as fishermen should feel free to fish how we like with the gear we like as long as it is legal. I also think that we as fellow fishermen should respect how others want to fish as long as its legal. Therefore if you want to reel the 500+ ft of line with 4lb weight + fish feel free, but do not judge others who do not want to do that.
