Not a great night for zepeda he looked flat and kind of surprised how intense Bo was like he should have been ready for that he knew he was coming for him
@@dennybirchfieldBo has been winning everything this past year. I coach in Pittsburgh and the only people surprised are not from here. You don’t have to be in HS to know what’s going on.
Which is an actual crazy statistic because it’s actually true. Lost to Luke Lilledahl, proceeded to beat Luke in their second meeting. Lost to Anthony Knox, proceeded to beat Knox in their second meeting. Lost to Daniel Zepeda, proceeded to beat Zepeda in their second meeting. This dude levels up every time he takes a loss it’s actually insane. Combine that skill/talent with Penn St, Iowa, or Okie State and the kid is going to be at least a 3x NCAA champion.
Zepeda hasn’t been out wrestling like Bassett has. Bassetts wrestled at the Olympic and world team trials and beat D1 NCAA champs. Of course Bassett was gonna level up. Zepeda needs to go out and seize more opportunities or Bassett will leave him behind
Bo already left him behind. While Bo was going and training at the OTC Zapeda was probably just training locally. Can't say for sure what he did but it def shows what Bo was doing.
Zepeda was bigger last year. Bassett grew into this weight…wasn’t wrestling up a class this time. It was the right class. That’s a tall order when the competition is at this level. Evened up the match.
If he goes to PSU, they will have to put up a big screen in the Bryce Jordan center just to accommodate standing room only just like the Pittsburgh penguins do during playoffs… This year’s WNO is a taste of what it would be like for him to stay in his home state… Spencer Lee would have had the same thing but went to Iowa which still had an awesome crowd but nothing like what would have been for him being an hour drive for literally every wrestling fan to show up…
This was kind of predictable guys. Not definite of course with Zepeda. But Bassett was undersized wrestling up last year. He filled in and actually had a bit of a cut into the right weight class this year. They were matched correctly this time. Bassett is the bigger prospect for a reason. People saying Zepeda looked off or should have expected this…nonsense. Zepeda did expect this and wasn’t off. He knew Bo had put on the weight to wrestle up even higher than this as he did also. You could see it. There’s no such thing as underestimating Bassett at his age and weight anywhere in the world at this point. That’s a foolish thing to say. Zepeda is an animal. However, Zepeda came to win and was beaten by the better wrestler. If they wrestle again, Bassett wins again. I don’t think Zepeda will beat him again if they happen to stay in the same weight class.
Zepeda has not gotten much better in the past year. Nor has he gotten stronger. The match was never gonna be the same the second time around. This past year I saw some kids give him a hard time who shouldn’t have. This was a meh 🫤 match to watch not a high light.

Nah no he simply had better training and is the better wrestler for now
@@Dinetioneditz123 That's your opinion you must be in high school
@@dennybirchfield I graduated in PA. 2023 so I know Bo basset since my teammate also wrestled him. And he was literally better in this match

Daniel as he walked off one more that means for a trilogy

Great job Bo, you're a true champion man
Bo wasnt playing, ate him right up
From getting pinned to beating him 12-6 in a year great progress
Love the sportsmanship, one more would be awesome!
Now, let's see if Daniel has the same fire as Bo. This should motivate him beyond belief. Two amazing kids with unbelievable skill.
He made him regret that shot so fast in the beginning its crazy, so good positioning and control, congrats 🎉
Two phenomenal wrestlers
Good luck to both at the next level
Congratulations Bo🎉🎉🎉
Bo Basset Was hungry for revenge from getting pinned
Bo you, MachineGun 💯

Bro yall already know Zepeda was scared of those 5am workouts
He put homie night on his back
Zepeda has a lot of work to do
Brands must be salivating at the site of that match .
All those 4 am practices paid off
BASSETT IS THE GOAT!!! 🐐
Not yet my dude. He's really good but not a GOAT yet. If he stays the course he will be.
MArcus Blaze imo is the best young kid right now.
Let’s go bo!
Going off
Memory but last time zepeda looked bigger
he was, bo was wrestling up a weight that was back when he did his huge bump from 113 to 138

Penn State would be a great home for Bassett.
He’s going to Rutgers I’ve heard

He wasn't adjusting to a new weight this time around. Kids leaped levels since last time too. Took Zepeda by STORM!!!
Hey Flo, when are you releasing the full match?
Dat Lloyd Christmas haircut hurting him, for realz…
Kids on a tare right now. RLTW 3/75
Dammit
What did Zepedea mean by “one more ☝️” at the end? One more rematch 😭
It’s 1-1 so he might want that match back. He’s an animal like Valencia but he’s not beating Bassett again.
He meant he wanted one more siesta
@@xzjayz7925 agree
Jesus
@@PhillyCART-qv1wx yeah Zepeda just confirmed that. He wants that match back at super 32.
