Thanks Marcos, another great video - now have the adjustment layer installed which is brilliant. Makes it so much easier especially when I wanted to add a LUT across a range of clips. I am learning FCPX 10.4 with you as your explain it in a way that suits my style of learning :)
Yes, did the update! And its a great improvement and super powerful! Video i edited with the new Version ua-cam.com/video/ouKgou4Om_4/v-deo.html&lc=UgzXAqutEPnMzd5WAK94AaABAg
Thanks for your video(s), always helpful. However, after downloading, I was not able to open your adjustment layer. On my Mac I just get that page emblem with a curled corner, which does not open. Any ideas about that? Thanks again for your videos)
Did you happen to notice that everytime you modify color in color wheels in the adjustment layer it makes a keyframe? I find it annoying because the color/exposure in my footage changes as it plays. 😥
Downloaded the adjustment layer but don't have any of the files past motion templates. No titles folder. When I try and drop it get an alert saying no app to open. What should I use? Thanks, for any info. Your videos are great!
Hey Ansel, using LUTs is part of color grading for some people, but not for everyone. You still have to touch the color wheels if you are going to use LUTs.
It does I have it in my computer. I am not sure what is happening there? If you have Apple Motion, you can create your own Adjustment Layer... I have a video on how to do that.
Did not show up in mine either. I had to manually add a Titles folder inside of Motion Templates folder as it originally did not exist. Added #Adjustment Layer folder inside of my newly created Titles folder and put the Adjustment Layer.moti inside there. Does not show up in Titles after restarting. I notice in your video there are several other folders inside your 'Titles' folder - most of which I assume are not part of FCPX, however, you have a 'Bumper/Opener' Folder and also entry. I have that in my Titles list but there is no 'Bumper/Opener' Folder in my newly created 'Titles' folder. Could this indicate the Titles location has moved somewhere else in the newer FCPX version?
Just did a little digging, ran across this video where the guy pulls up the Get Info window on the Titles folder and in that window changes the name of Titles to 'Titles.localized'. I did this and there was still no #adjustment Layer entry in the list under Titles but the Adjustment Layer WAS showing under the main Titles heading (where the actual title types are shown). I renamed '#Adjustment Layer' folder to 'Custom' (with no hashtag) and the 'Custom' entry showed up in the list under Titles, as shown in this video. ua-cam.com/video/imU81C1DDRY/v-deo.html
Just getting started in FCP and have watched quite a few of your video today. Thanks for what you're doing!

Finally!!! Does it support h.265?
I heard it does, but I haven't experimented with all the new features.
Colorwheels works properly only on rec2020 material. Not on rec709.
Haven’t got time to update, do you think this is going to replace the use of LUTS or is just going to complement it ?

I don't seem to have anything in my folder called movie templates, its completely empty. Do you know what I need to do? Thanks
I am not sure, it should be there. Try searching for it.
do you still have the adjustment layer download
Yeah! The link is in the description or click here: bit.ly/fcpxadjustmentlayer
You can't preview the file, but you can download it.
The adjustment layer did not show up in my menu when I restarted final cut. Does it still work with the new version?
