I love how reach is taking the mantle of developing the culture as it begins to evolve. Most of the time, we see labels get what they were working for and disappear. It’s refreshing to see them guiding the shipping by having these kinds of conversations

Right now and for several years I listen to chh all day while I work because it usually has a dope beat and a positive message. But then, I change the station when I want to sing a praise. My vision for this movement is that I would never have to change the dial.

NGL - I really miss when lecrae didn’t water it down - I saw him in San Diego around 2010 as a gang member who beat life in prison and gave my life to The creator after having God speak things to me that came to pass - so I loved the gospel that lecrae was rapping - it was funny because I never even knew Christian’s could rap - but the zeal , the sold out for Christness - when I saw him live I never felt a better live performance - fast forward to today - just seems like the dude lost the spirits touch - he got so many Pharisees in the church throwing rocks at him that I think he turned from God in a way - for example - you tell me which song makes you feel the spirit of god more - chase that on overdose - or blessings w dolls sign -- breaks my heart that the Pharisees in the church broke this man’s zeal - now he so much on the “not a Christian rapper “ that it’s almost like god said “ yeah ? Ight bet “

In my opinion it’s like lecrae bought into all the lies that in order to reach the lost he had make music that relates to them as if he IS them - rather then be the man god called out of darkness and share his convictions and journeys as his new man - because idk bout you but that’s the crae that gave me goosebumps - not the crae who trying to sound like he really in the streets - because we know he’s not - and something about that inauthenticness just watered down the whole vibe
It's kind of funny but also telling, when he was making music to prove how truly Christian he was instead of being true to where he really was in life was when you and most people came to Christ.
It's also weird because when he was openly working through his faith really reflecting how hard it is out here people didn't really feel it.
But then again I didn't find God through music so musical artist have always just been entertainment to me.
Keep Jesus at the center. It's not all about the music per say. Let the people know who we are talking about and follow.

There have always been a diverse group of believers who rap, folks ain’t hit ‘em uo. The cafe’s stayed with folks rapping about their faith in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Hammer was a Christian rapper first.

Alot of the Newer music is less christ/bible based. To remove it from the music and account it to living it out is to devalue the genre and create what is equivalent to clean hiphop rather than Christian hip hop. Not a sin..but why be in Christian space but separate the music from the gospel? Why is this authenticity tied to separation from scripture? Idk its confusing lol. I love the music though

Eh… is this the place for this kinda comment? The theme of the video is about unifying the Christian music industry and your comment seeks to divide it if anything.
Each individual that is praising Jesus Christ with their voice and type of music is a praise to God. There shouldn't be so many Christian record labels as all is trying to reach the lost by bringing Word of Jesus Christ. I listen to all kinds of Christian artists from Latin America, American, even Hebrew. I may not understand Hebrew but seeing them in the holy spirit when praising Jesus Christ is amazing and you can literally feel the Holy Spirit. One specific label isn't going to be the only ones that can bring lost souls to God. God bless....I have favorite artists but I listen to all and to be honest not all artists truly have Jesus Christ in their hearts. Just like the Bible says, even the devil knows the Bible, so therefore God gave us the ability to discern spirits and know who and what is of the Holy Spirit.
