Hey guys! Just a quick video showing you how to remove and replace a battery on a 2015 Ford Focus! This applies to many more ford focuses! Could also work on fiesta and escape etc!
It’s actually quite simple! A bit confusing at first! But with a little patience anything can be figured out!

You know that you don't have to remove the air box assembly to get to the Battery right? There are clips on the battery housing that can be pushed up and out that gives the front of it some play for you to slide your battery out. Saves you a lot of time doing it that way!
Can’t do it on a diesel battery is bigger

Appreciated, mine had start&stop but it's almost the same, the ground battery has a sensor, just unplug it and good to go.
Great video! I just swapped out my 2015 Ford Focus's 7 year old battery in about 15 minutes. Of note I did not have to remove the air box. You have enough room to maneuver the battery out with out moving the air box.
I just got a new battery. Old one was 8-1/2 years old so I got my money's worth.
Did the battery fix the issue? I'm experiencing battery drain on my 15 focus. Can't figure out what the problem is. Pulled sync fuse and Bluetooth fuse but still draining

Could have disconnect the negative at the body stud to make it a little easier.
Holy shit this sucked. Ford could have just put a little flip up hatch on the cowl to allow it to access the battery properly and avoided all this. Stupid. Thanks for the video.

my 2015 focus wouldn't start yesterday. Hopefully it's only the battery, but everything has gone up in price. Hope to get someone to get it out with no probkems.
96r battery is slim can be taken out with out hassle out the top.

You do not have to remove the air box for anyone who is watching this. You can remove it once you unhook the box and make a little more room

Audi Q7 may be worse yet ... you're sitting atop the battery, I don't know if they can be jumped or if AAA just tows them to dealership.
Not bad, but you don't need to remove the air filter box. The front battery panel is removeable, the one next to the red terminal.
That’s the hard way to do it
This is the most unnecessary place to put a battery
