Dead & Company was formed in 2015 when the Grateful Dead’s Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir joined forces with artist and musician John Mayer, Allman Brothers’ bassist Oteil Burbridge, and Fare Thee Well and RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti. The result was one of the most successful touring bands of the decade. The inaugural tour kicked off in the fall of 2015 with two sold-out shows at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City and ended with two sold-out performances at the ‘Fabulous’ Forum in Inglewood, California.
Since then, the band has completed five tours, playing to more than 1.5 million fans, and has become a record-breaking stadium act. Dead & Company has headlined iconic stadiums across the country including Folsom Field, Autzen Stadium, Citi Field, Fenway Park and Dodger Stadium. Additionally, the band broke Wrigley Field’s all-time concert attendance record in 2017. Dead & Company’s 2018 Summer Tour ranked in the top 25 of the Top 100 Worldwide Tours and for the past two years, their Summer Tours ranked in the top 15 of the Top Global Concert Tours.

This song just makes me miss Brent 🌷🎤🎹😍
Times a million buddy
Me too brother he added so much and jerry loved playing with him some legendary years
Me too! Thats how i got here!
100%❤
Jeff Took a verse! Nice! Never heard him sing. This is at the normal pace too
So many of the songs are far too slow , yes this is correctly paced and grate to see and hear xx
I believe they give Jeff a verse in The Weight too
This DID soothe my soul, 1st live show after the INSIDE year- only Bobby & John could take us there!
Finally Dead and co stepping out of the usual setlist. Went to Raleigh show, and as you can see it’s going to be a great tour.
I have not heard this since the 90s !
oteil is a beast for sure. bobby looks really healthy
Hey Now! There's pep in that step! Yes!
Really dig everyone singing
Having fun, I love it!
I predicted this as the opener for all five fare thee well.
I predicted let the good times roll as the opener for every fare Thee well show. I was wrong every time
What a pleasure!!!
Finally!!!
Awesome opener. I was stoked to be there for this one as I don’t recall ever hearing this as an opener for Dead & Co.
John has been feeding the pythons. Wonder if Bob's gonna loan him some of his Daisy Dukes collection 🤣
beautiful
Ya dude great opener Brett 🙏
Oh shit! They finally gonna let otiel play for real...if you don't know what I mean look up some Allman bro videos with him jammin like a beast..I'm actually hoping yes......
CHINA DOLL! OTIEL DID IT JUSTICE!!!!!
Going to Philly tomorrow . I’m jealous if they don’t play this one tomorrow
This was the first time dead and co ever played this. You will not here this live often or ever to be honest. I got to see this live and man it was a perfect opener. God bless the dead
Dead & Co….All night long….
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Let Jeff sing!
Show has started.....
🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

I really wanted to be there tonight I guess you can tell I’m not there but I’ll be on shakedown street for Halloween fosho.
Wait there's a Halloween show
Surprised me 👍🏻
The last opener I heard in 1995
God love them, they are trying!!
can you make a copy of your vaccination card to take to the venue to get it? just asking cuz its supposed to rain in philly today and i donnt want to ruin my original vac card
well do they accept photocopied vacc cards
Yes, they accepted a copy last night for me.
LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL & JEFF SINGS??!!!!???!
He's using that prs silver sky again........NOOOOOOO!!! But Im glad they are playing this song for the opener, brings me back to spring 90!!! :)
Apparently he is using this one silver sky for everything all night now. A bit thin sounding for some stuff IMO but if he likes it then he will find new places to go on it and for us to all hear and enjoy which is cool
@@gmguitars3283 thanks for responding, the silver sky is a very nice guitar with great tones. PRS and John put a lot of work into designing it. However, they also put a lot of work and money into the super eagle which I believe has a much better tone for dead music. I think he's playing the silver sky with the hope that they will sell more of them once people see and hear him playing it. He could of also used a vintage fender Strat which John has a huge collection of. He would have been able to get a better tone with that playing through a vintage fender twin deluxe reverb amp..........
Lets have some music
I wonder whose skull is on his keys.
Chimenti!
is out of tune...............
@@samiam7342 Have you not heard a Grateful Dead show?
Daaaamn after the 23 tour this is really average
What’s up with the imagery? Triangle with eyes? Really didn’t think Dead and Co would stand for that. Disappointed 😔
They all got Bell's Palsy from the Covid Jab and the graphene in their blood needs the illuminati triangle w eyes to keep them going.....
Awesome.
But definitely don’t give Oteil a verse. He’s not the best singer in the band.
Lol
OTIEL SANG CHINA DOLL, AND DID IT JUSTICE!!!
CHINA DOLL>CHINA CAT>I KNOW YOU RIDER..........😎😎
RAMBLE ON ROSE, GOOD LOVIN, ...ENCORE THE WEIGHT.....GREAT SHOW!!!
@@GB-vb9sz Oteil is liable to breathe new life into a tune.
Too funny! Had the same thought...
Wow, A bunch of 60 year olds, Watching a bunch of 70 year olds, Playing Boring Music that's 50 years old. Who's Got My Extra????
What a tool. Your post reveals your unsophistication and lack of musical depth.
Listen to your pop county bro, please don't ever come to our family reunions.
Actually it’s also 20 30 and 40 year olds. John Mayer has done a great job of reenergizing the Grateful Dead music and bringing in a whole new demographic of young fans who have been introduced to the classic songs. I think it’s awesome. Bob looks so enthusiastic and happy playing and so does Mickey and Bill. I think it’s great and our worlds needs a happy distraction during these tough times.
60 year olds? You obviously made that up to try and make your point. It's well known that the crowds at Dead & Company shows are loaded with younger crowds just like the original band. Only half the band is in the 70's anyway. How sad you'd make stuff up.
James “I take time out of my day to comment on things I don’t like because I’m a loser” Schneeman
I've tried and tried I just can't stand john mayer it's so disappointing that they picked him to cover Jerry. All the dead n co set list and merch are great but john sings the songs like pop star and its so lame man what the hell? I'm overjoyed that this is the last tour.
Never again. Bobby. Show was ok. But the end has past. Give it up bobby it’s not working At least get rid of the pop star. JM great guitar, sure, not really part of this. So obvious he is an outsider.
Lee Levine. What planet are you from? Boy bands might be better for you
Levine, you need some medical help and fast. Maybe an ENT followed by an Optometrist and don't forget the shrink. Save the next seat for someone who appreciates good talent when they see it.
Lee Levine You’re a troll 😈
Mark Allen I love you!! Lee Levine has no friends so he needs negative rewards by trolling
@@Baby-dl8yp ohh, baby baby. Dear mr. Troll tell me more about the old days. Did you make your own butter?
