I’m really surprised that college baseball isn’t more popular. As someone who has played 25 years of baseball, which includes NAIA ball, I’m really rooting for Division I baseball to gain more fans. I’ve been watching a lot of these highlight videos. These games are every bit as entertaining as college football and basketball.
They would've met before the championship. Vandy would have to go through Arkansas to get to Mississippi State. Where Arkansas would be in the same bracket just switching them with NC State.

Yeah, I think everyone in America knows that a big advantage when only playing a 3 game series. This is something they need to address for future CWS so it doesn’t happen again. I would have said the same thing if that was Mississippi State. Bednar would have pitched game 1 with a win and now they are spanking Vandy in game 2. State would have taken it in 2 games. They should have made a starter unavailable is for damn sure or atleast moved back instead of game 1. I would think moving a starter back to Game 2 would be the best way to address this issue without removing them. I guess it makes too much sense though right? If anybody agrees that they should have moved Leiter back to game 2 let me know, because this seems only fair since they had extra rest for Game 1! Hail State!

I'm not sure why Lemonis picked Macleod for this game. I think he has to take the L for that choice. Macleod has been in a slump lately and at every appearance leaves his teammates to dig out of a hole early in the game. Hard to overcome that kind of lead when facing a really good pitcher. MSST beat Vandy and Leiter earlier in the year. This would have been a much different ballgame if Lemonis had started another pitcher.

I think NC State was one of, if not the hottest team in the CWS. Had the most momentum and had beat Vandy once already. Not many people are on Vandy's side in this either, except their fan base (And even several of them are pissed at how they got into the finals). Vandy got screwed much like NC State by the NCAA TBH, Vandy is always going to have the illegitimate * next to them for this team for most people.
