I’m talking beating him on the chest and stomach until my arms got tired (I weighed maybe 118 and he was 215 and a lot taller than me and we were both 19yrs old) he just stood there and took it because he knew he was in the wrong and causing me to spiral right back into his horrible arms. I wasted 6 yrs trying to make this a-hole not cheat on me. It was EXHAUSTING!!! This is already long but I have more to tell and it ends with an incredible ending!!! So pls keep reading. Your friend deserves better. They should return themselves to a place they are loved and start over. It's never too late for your friend to be truly happy and be with someone that cherishes them.
Can I say if this is a friend in Kuwait, with a Muslim person, this could be cultural somewhat. They "respect" and love thier wives, expect highly of them, and take a "girlfriend " they don't have to treat the same way. Keeping the wife "clean, respected...' the girlfriend is an outlet they don't have to do that with because they are not married to them.i may have said it wrong, but its a common issue for some. I think your friend will deal with it through the whole marriage. Said with caring and ❤.
The fact that there are secrets in it's self is wrong. When you allow bad behavior, it will continue as people like to see how far they can push. That is the first big red flag, there should be non of that in a relationship, you are equal parteners and when, though its through a phone, phones eventually lead to meeting, meetings of that sort lead to cheating. A cheating heart is not a solid heart. The advice you should give is RUN.
Chantal you know the answer to this. Respect, communication and honesty is just an absolute must. If my husband crosses any line or would hide anything that would be crossing a boundary and it’s a no from me! I would immediately start setting boundaries and if they weren’t met he would be gone! And vice versa he would do the same for me and I would expect him to. We’re together for the long haul and you have to respect your partner and not play games as an adult. It’s not going to stop especially weird pics on the internet or hiding people online…. I would say leave! Or at least set a line down and separate and see if they can regain trust back.
