Hello 👋 Misti. How are you doing? Hope you are fine. I'm Mark Clifford and am from Denver Colorado,, where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
It’s easy to hear Eric’s heart and soul was poured into the production of this album. The whole band puts their best foot forward as always and the results are another start-to-finish amazing album.
Honestly, this has to be one of my favorite songs not only off the album, but by Shinedown in general. The beautiful thing about music is that everyone can interpret the lyrics however they see fit, and this song is a perfect example of doing such. For some they may take "the dead don't die" as a sign of overcoming hardships. You can also see some lyrics such as "life's killed me 100,000 times," as a symbol of never quitting. Personally, I like to think of this song as an anthem for overcoming my past, and being able to persevere and fight through my battles and I came out victorious. Another lyric I really enjoy is "I haven't been afraid a day in my life." Regardless of how you relate the lyrics to you, this is undoubtedly a powerful, motivating song.
Very well said, I share your thoughts on this just the same .. I've been in some very dark places in my life, made poor choices, hurt people I love, and that was quite a few years ago .. "life's killed me 100,000 times", but I've been redeemed, won back trust and love from those who matter most ... and through all that I've been through, "I've never been afraid a day in my life" ... Shinedown just keeps getting better. Their music just resonates with me
This song is my anthem, my two absolute favorite lyrics are "I dug myself out of the dirt for a reason" and "I won't be the ending that was written for me"- those really encapsulate my life experiences. I have a genetic disease and I've experienced so much and been sp close to death at this point I'm not afraid anymore
I love this song and the video! This song really resonates with me. I start every morning listening to it. It’s a reminder to me that no matter how many times life has killed me inside with its trials and tribulations, I’m still here to fight another day. Well done fellas!
I have this CD in my car since day one. Planet Zero is my favorite Shinedown album. Believe me, all their albums are amazing. I play that CD everyday. I actually know every song lyrics by heart. This song along with Get Up, got me through the hardest time of my life last year my husband died last year if it wasn't for this song and the song Get Up I would not be here today. Shinedown literally help save my life! Thank you for being such a wonderful band band. I love you guys!
Shinedown is one of those bands that is continuously progressing and getting better vs regressing. I love this video beyond words
Shinedown is the most versatile, adaptable ass kicking band out there. Seriously one band I could see a couple times a week all year and love it. Love these guys
AMAZING!!! Music heals the soul and Shinedown always delivers. Thank you for caring so much for your fans and for making such phenomenal music!!
Hello 👋 Misti. How are you doing? Hope you are fine. I'm Mark Clifford and am from Denver Colorado,, where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
This is the sequal to "Sound of Madness" that we deffo needed!
This whole album is phenomenal
Let's gooo one of my favourite of the album
hands down shinedown is my favourite band. Can’t get enough of them !
I love this song and the video! This song really resonates with me. I start every morning listening to it. It’s a reminder to me that no matter how many times life has killed me inside with its trials and tribulations, I’m still here to fight another day.

I've 💗'd SHINEDOWN SINCE THE BEGINNING!! I've been to a few of their concerts & they NEVER FAIL TO DISAPPOINT! SUCH A TALENTED BAND!! BRETT IS A DYNAMO & ONE OF THE GREATEST ROCK FRONTMEN, SINGERS! ALSO, HE OBVIOUSLY RECOGNIZES INCREDIBLE TALENT WHEN HE SEES IT. THIS HAS BEEN RECONFIRMED BY HIS ADDITION OF JELLYROLL TO HIS LATEST TOUR!!
Always making sure the lost are brought to see ur light in Jesus Christ's name getting down as usual very awesome luv it I'll play it a zillion X's the dead don't die!!!!!!!!!! Fact ox Maddie top fan
Amazing job Shinedown! Can't wait to see you guys in concert here soon. y'all are a huge part of my life and have impacted me so much, much love!
I was two seconds from giving up. then this song came to mind! I will rise above. Shinedown has been my mainstay since leave a whisper they deserve recognition for everyone they brought back from the brink with their music. Thank You.
A huge part of the awesome that is Shinedown are their motivational lyrics, video visuals and arrangement but maaannn Brent’s….aura of “I’m a survivor” powerhouse voice, interpretation of the song and blow the fucking doors off ENERGY is what draws me in so much. The pure joy of watching someone with so much PASSION for art, life, helping others inspires me when I get in a funk to get off my ass and be grateful, humble and keep going. ❤🙏🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥
Brent Smith is so physical with his body language. It's one of the reasons just to stand there and watch him
