The Joola Infinity Overdrive is the fastest and spinniest bat from the Infinity line. But just how well does it compare with the custom equipment we are used to? In this review, I test the bat in all areas and share which players it is best suited for. And who should avoid it.

    FAQs
Q "Is it possible to change the rubbers on this paddle?"
    A. We do not believe so. JOOLA does not state if the rubbers are removable, but most inexpensive preassembled paddles use permanent glue as opposed to table tennis glue. And we are almost certain this is the case with the Infinity Overdrive.
    Q. "What is the net weight?"
    A. 190g.
    Q. "Can this be ordered with one red and one black side?"
    A. Yes, you can purchase the Infinity Overdrive with red and black rubbers with either a red or yellow-themed handle.
    Q. "Is this racket approved to play in tournaments?
    A. Yes. The rubbers are ITTF approved so you can compete using this paddle.
Q, "Is black on both sides allowed?"
    A. If you wish to compete at regulated events you cannot use a bat with two black rubbers. However, for casual play two blacks rubbers are fine.

I bought both the overdrive and balance as a player who never payed ping pong 3 weeks ago. With a combined 6 hours of play time so far, I can say I'd prefer the overdrive specifically because the control doesn't feel any different compared to the overdrive. I do have to say that I do have about 2 years of tennis experience so it plays into learning what to do and what not to do easier than people who never played both sports. That being said, I no where near your level of playing at all, and can only speak from my experience. Playing with overdrive paddle and comparing to other sitga line, I think the overdrive is a happy medium of feeling like a normal paddle (heavy imo), but also providing all the spin, power, and control of a high end light blade. In addtion, its cheaper and more affordable that some others haha.

True, it does look like it lacks spin but that speed is insane for the price! How's the contact feel when the bat strikes the ball? Good wooden blades feel absolutely divine, but I have my doubts with how a budget carbon bat would fare in comparison

Isnt there a rule to have red and black color on paddle? Or they removed that rule?

I would say Iam an intermediate player and I had the Infinity balance, but it was a bit to slow for me. would you recommend the infinity overdrive?

Hi Alex .. Thanks for the fantastic review...
Iam using infinity overdrive double black since 3 months or so ...i concur with you on most of the points you said ....it is superfast paddle ...even the advanced players would take time to adjust ...yes I found it bit low on spin n control ..
Black on both sides is good only for knockin n other training ...so am thinking of changing one of the rubbers with joola topspin c Like chopper (red )
    What would be your opinion
Will it do any gud making it a competition fit paddle n also increase the spin n control element ..
Or do I just keep it for practise n training
Am in betn a intermediate to advanced level player and mostly defensive player ..depend lot on my serves to win games...
    Honest confession ...😊
