(2011) Sullivan South (TN) at Gate City

In just the third contest between these two well known football programs, the Sullivan South Rebels (0-2) from Kingsport, Tennessee visit Virginia's own Gate City Blue Devils (0-2). The Blue Devils haven't started a season with an 0-2 record in many years and the Rebels have compiled a 62-15 combined record from 2005 to 2010, so both teams enter the game eager to earn their first win of the season and get back on the winning track. Only one team will achieve that feat, though. Which team will leave the game with that sought after victory and which will leave 0-3, still in search of a win? Watch and see and enjoy!

OMG that HORNNNNNN....yeeeesh...lol...i was there for the game 2 years ago and i'll never go back, simply because of the horn....killed my ears...otherwise, one of the best HS atmoshpheres ive ever experienced...this score surprised me.....please tell me the guy that constantly hollered " get him blue " wasnt you?...lol..i would have had to have moved...i only watched your 16 minute vid and i was ready to choke the guy...haha....i guess people just love their "BLUE" up there...its cool

i wish north and gate city would play again. north is a lot better than they were in the 80s. that was a crowd drawing venue
