Homemade water ionizer getting 10.2 ph reading

  • Titanium rods are used but no sponge or minerals are used in the system other then a little sea salt. The plastic tanks are bpa free but I have no idea about the valve that connects the tanks. So the final product on the negative side is also ran thru a water purifier. The batteries will eventually be replaced with a variable power supply. Next test is 48 volts and so on, to see how high up I can get on the ph scale.

    The model. Helped alot.
    I'm now using two kitchen spoons with 24 volt (two 12V DC adapters connected in series).
    But here's a catch I noticed,
    With two 12V Dc adapters connected in series and correctly connected the positive and negative terminals to anode & cathode respectively gives me alkaline water at Positive terminal End. But your model gives it at the negative side.
    Also, I bought a 12V 10A SMPS from market and connected it in the same manner,
    It gives me alkaline water into the negative side which is as you said.
    I didn't understand why is there's been a difference in both the cases.
    Any hints please?

    • @Lightendog
      @Lightendog  Рік тому

      I think we both realize your case doesn't make any sense..........never heard of that before and if you used a volt meter to verify polarity was reverse that would even be more puzzling. I can't physically check it out myself of course to know what's going on but I would just use a 24 volt adapter. Keep in mind the higher the voltage, the more the electrode will break down.

    • @mehulgandhi8
      @mehulgandhi8 Рік тому

      @@Lightendogyou're correct. That could be the solution to the problem, instead of adapters in series I'll buy a single source of supply.
      About the last line that you said, the electrodes would break down with higher voltage, I tried to avoid that by reducing supply from 24 volts to 12V. but even with a 12V 10A supply, that took a lot of time, more than 30 hours for 4+4 litres of water in both tanks.
      With a 24V 1.5 A max supply it took not more than 24 hours.
      I'm planning to buy the platinized titanium electrodes to avoid the breakdown issue.
      But the time the process is taking a lot.

      @@mehulgandhi8 When I was looking into alkaline water years ago there was so many pros and cons, back and fourth I decided to take a look at what is natural in the world. Rain water is sometimes pretty clean even thou I've tested as much as 020 ppm. It's ph level is around 7.6 which is the most natural so I only drink distilled water now, been for years. Not the kind from the store thou, I have a distiller and I usually get a reading of 002 on the ppm test. Tap water is 160 ppm here and even some bottled water is the same. Purified bottled water tested 006 which is the best I could find in a bottled water. As they say, all things in moderation and sometimes you just got to go right down the middle for the safest bet.

    I have a mega question. I followed other guides before yours and of course I didn't find Yours until I finished.
    And it would be great if anyone could help me.
    I made the setup but I didn't use your power source I used were to the other one used and that was a phone charger connected to A USB wire.
    According to other videos you need DC electric to create this machine.
    How are you doing it with car batteries when that's AC.
    Second how do you create 50 V in A DC environment.
    Third on my bill the positive note seems to create this white stuff. I think it's because of the copper I used to bound up my titanium washers. But that's another question because my washers are small as hell and you have 2 huge stainless steel bolts
    Also I've had mine running for a few days now I can only assume that it's been ironized the water didn't change color and I can't get past a 9.0 on ph.
    After watching this video I've come to understand that the vaults regulate the ph level.
    Can anyone supply a graph as to how that would work.

    • @Lightendog
      @Lightendog  9 місяців тому +1

      A car battery is DC current, anything from a wall is AC current however usb ports that come out of the wall convert the AC voltage to DC as most all usb ports use 5 volts DC. The higher the voltage the quicker the process but then you will also get break down the the positive rod. Now, to be clear, I don't drink this kind of water. I bought an electric distiller.

      I was going to filter with a brita.

      I don't use this setup anymore as there are mixed opinions on whether or not it's good for you. Now I run all my water thru a 5 stage purifier and I also drink distilled water to remove toxins. On this set up here I did notice one of the metal rods was getting corrosion marks so you have to wonder where the metal particles were going. If you still do want to do this, my advice would be you use a lower voltage then I used. It will take longer but won't break down the titanium rod like the higher voltage does. Honestly, I would just run everything thru the 5 stage filter system....it's 10 times less hassle and there are no questions about weather or not it's healthy.

      What is RO water? 16 volts should work fine but would take a whole day. As long as you see some small bubbles on one of the probes it should be working as long as nothing is blocking the water between the two tanks. Before draining you need to be able to isolate the two tanks (you probably have that). Read some of my replies as I have explained I do NOT use this setup for drinking water. @@drkastenbrot Tap water has plenty of fluoride and Lord knows what so no thanks.....think about this for a minute: I've tested different kinds of water using a ppm meter and the results are, tap water 167, different well water between 180 and 300, purified water at 006, and rain water I took about 30 samples resulting between 000 and 020 ppm. The amount of minerals you pick up in water might only be in the 25 ppm range which is nothing you can't get in vegetables. I have a friend who was in the service and while out at he told me they made their own water by distilling it. Rain water is basically the same process so to say it's not meant to drink is propaganda bs to keep us on fluoride tap water which causes neurological disorders. Fluoride is a toxic poison and they know it too. Animals drink rain water, nature uses rain water so if you think it's not mean to drink, then stay on the poison water that comes out of the tap. Look at Flint Michigan.....do you think they only used lead pipes there? They used them everywhere. Just do a little research into this or at least drink purified water.

    • @drkastenbrot
      @drkastenbrot 4 роки тому

      @@Lightendog Flouride is not neurologically active, it only affects bones and teeth. Too much flouride will cause problems with both, however the amount in tap water is nowhere close to that, you can drink tap water and use flouride toothpaste safely at the same time.
      Lead pipes are very common and they can become dangerous if the mineral content of the water drops. This is why mineral content of tap water is constantly monitored and controlled, and as a side effect it provides healthier water.
      Making a observation with a ppm meter without understanding how it works is pure speculation. Even just rust from pipes, which is harmless and common in older buildings will massively raise the reading.
      While rain water and distilled water are not immediately unhealthy to drink, combined with a bad diet they will quickly lead to a mineral deficit.

    • @Lightendog
      @Lightendog  4 роки тому +1

      @@drkastenbrot Read the warning label on tooth paste if swallowed and it affects more than bones and teeth. It causes dementia and has NEVER been proven to prevent tooth decay. A ten year study was done on both fluoridated and non-fluoridated kids which should no difference in tooth decay at all. Some countries don't even put it in their water but here in the US, we're being medicated without our consent. Fluoride is a poison period, and we should not be drinking it. I've seen two documentaries on the subject and it's not just in the tap water, it's in soda and other products too. Again, the amount of minerals you get from water is insignificant and there are many people who don't even drink water on a regular basis. You can find all the info on this online.
