- I filmed a tour of my dorm just before I left the University of Sheffield and have finally managed to finish editing it. Six students share each flat, with each room being equipped with a private ensuite. Each flat has a shared kitchen, dining and living area. Hope you enjoy my tour!

Hey, thanks for uploading the video! I am planning on coming to Sheffield for exchange and am concerned about the food situation. Would you recommend being self- catered or catered? If you go for catered, you get 2 meals per day, right?
Hey, congrats on your exchange at Sheffield! I recommend self-catered, because I usually cook or eat out. For catered you get an allowance of £50 or so per week to spend at the outlets at uni :)
From what I've learned you get a GeniUS card with a weekly allowance that you can spend on food around campus at the uni-owned restaurants and cafes. Pretty sure what you don't spend is rolled over to the next week too :)

Hey! I'm staying at Sheffield's Endcliffe village in Froggatt. I was wondering whether or not we need to bring a kettle, toaster, ironing board/iron, brooms and mops with us or if they're provided by the university? Thanks! X
Hey, I used to live in Endcliffe and all of that is provided already (except maybe iron and ironing board, I never did any ironing so I wouldn't know lol)
I lived in Birchen and all were provided including the ironing board. I assume it will be the same at Froggatt 😊

Day Y Hi Day, the closest residence would be Allen Court. The downside to Endcliffe and Ranmoor are that they are a bit of a trek to get to campus!

I am also coming to sheffield this year and have taken uni accommodation but i got a bit surprised that that there is no water hose next to the toilet. Can you request the uni to give any kind of water hose or bidet option or not?. Plzz reply i am actually from a country where there is no concept of toilet paper at all (we use water for cleaning down there😅) and now i am alot worried.
Idk about if that’s possible, but the next best thing would be wipes instead of dry paper

Yes, the accomodation includes free wifi and same with electricity and water usage!

Damn that’s a big ass room. Maybe I’m actually happy that Sheffield was my insurance and I’m going there now

Enyiie what’s some good places to go to in terms of bars, clubs, restaurants and areas to just hang out. I wanna know as many good places as possible before I go. I heard mango bean is really nice
@@potato-sweet there are a lot of gems in Division st, like Steamyard, Lucky fox and the great Gatsby. I also liked Fox and Duck and the Nottingham near Endcliffe 😊
