@ 8:40, thats a very old school Toyota Crown 1971 to 1974 model , i havent seen one of them in over 30 years, they also made a 2 door coupe that looks like its part Ford Mustang, large 6 cylinder car, used in Barbados a lot back in the day as a Taxi cab. Would love one all now.
This generation of Toyota crown was also made in Australia for our market too, I've seen a few at car shows. My mate's family used to have one as a family car also.
I work from 5:30 in the morning to 4:00 in the afternoon, 5 days a week. I appreciate my job and all, but I sure can envy your life style in the global car world. Keep up the car show for us Chad. I really enjoy the culture of Thailand.
@@frederickcolaire5367 i'd say JZ is a superior package but in the early days there were NO performance parts avail for JZ and a full catalog for the RB,i ran all sorts of RB's in australia and they aint no slouch by any means, but my valiants with hemi 6's used to walk all over stock supras back in the late 1990's
Toyota still makes great Engines. Toyota and Honda make some of the most reliable engines out there. If I got any different brand I would only lease it. Toyota and Honda is top class when it comes to reliability
I have a very small list of channels that i make sure to watch every video they upload, and CB Media is one on the list. Awesome guy who makes awesome content!
you call it drifting. I call it winter driving in Canada. These vids are cool my friend. Im not very worldly and this glimpse into the thai culture is very entertaining and informative.
The Thai car scene is hands down 1000% better than the US.. Everyone is there to have fun and it is highly active no matter what event you go to. I really wish I had moved there in my 20s, because I'd be one of the guys with a limo van by now. If I had been smarter I would have went to Thailand after automotive school instead of dying Michigan.
Chad, you bring the best content. I have raced all my life on dirt in Winged Sprint Cars, never understood the fad of drifting as is goes against everything we learned to keep a car tight, you bring it and I enjoy the take on events you cover.
I like the longer videos. I would love to see a 20 minute long video every Monday. I look forward to chads videos more than any of the other guys that I watch. Keep it up man
Great video as always mate! @ 4:55, that front end looks like the Datsun 160z we had back in the 70's and 80's here in South Africa. That thing moved!! I currently own a 1974 Mazda F1000, completely stock, still has the 1000cc motor in as well... Cheers, and thanks for all your great videos!
Sick cars, I love how they dont give a crap about brand loyalty when it comes to swapping enigines, they just do what works for them and stick with reliability! so sick!
@@certificateofvaccinationi.d.19 i not sure you can count but I see 8 exhaust pipes 4 on each side and the crown not Come with 1jz they Come with R5 inline 4 1994cc M inline 6 1988cc 2M inline 6 2253 cc and 4M inline 6 2563 cc.
Another great episode, dude! LOVE your stuff!!! My wife & I are in Thailand (visiting family till July 10th) let's see if we can meet up while we're here!!
Always enjoy your videos! Don’t know much about the foreign rice rockets 🚀 but they are cool to see all they can do in Thailand with the builds and how talented the builders are grafting different models together! THE HOTT SEXY GIRLS ARE ALWAYS A VISION TO ENJOY
Top quality content yet again. Heads up, this Saturday 11 jun is the annual VW fest in Bangkok. I'm planning to check it out, last time I went was 2017. They had an interesting turnout of some of the best VWs you could find anywhere.
Didnt expect this level of drifting. Really cool to see more countries in the sport and at pretty high level. Would love to see an actual world wide drift competition, but probably money is just too big of a problem.
Yet another video with a sweptline dodge! After seeing the one in the last video you did I would have bet anything it was the only one in the country. It’s awesome to see yet another one! Kick ass video man! 🍻
I'm more knowledgable on vintage euro and american cars, but I believe the car at 8:35 is a early 1972 or close, Toyota crown, the two level grill is dead giveaway for the front end, unless its grafted on lol.
One of the things I really appreciate in this modern throw away society in America is their resourcefulness which reminds me of when I visited relatives in New Zealand in 1988 before globalism and the important of cheap secondhand cars from Japan. It would interest me to see what their idea of a junkyard is as one of uncles owned one in New Zealand which was completely different than any I've seen here in the US of waste.
Great Video Chad I just met you getting on the plane and said I’d watch it😁. I Saw all the Benz Daemon guys last night in the same Restaurant I was in and wondered what event they had come from. Cheers
Chad, The car next to the truck with the pipes pointing sky high was a mid 70’s Toyota crown. My parents owned one back in the day. Rare as rocking horse shit now. Sweet Video 👍🎥📺
Great video, I prefer these to the boat videos (though I know those ones get more views). For something completely different, since you're in Surat Thani ... would love to see your review/perspective on the Full Moon Party only a boat ride away in Phangan. I can imagine it'll be hilarious commentary & eye-rolls ... and maybe some drunken fun, who knows!
Not a car guy, not a Thailand guy, but I loooove this channel.

You should start a tourism company and take people to those events. That looks tons more fun to go than any red light district Thailand is supposedly famous for.
The Drifting is getting dicey, the Model's are spicy. Home grown Thai women and Motorsports that being their game! POW! POW! Yeah baby that's what I like 👍. Only at CB Media.🍻
Love the drift cars I'll be contacting you at the end of the month for help and advice on my trip in November, I already bought the tickets. Hope to meet up soon
I'm going to thailand in November does anyone know of any car events happening ther during the month of November. Finding it hard to find online maybe because I don't speak thai

I agree, it looks like a fourth gen s60 crown. They always look lovely done VIP and slammed, mmmmm!!!

5:30 that too early what is your job
Back in the 90s Nissan made some pretty good chassis's and Toyota made some pretty good engines, seems only logical to me to combine the best of each.
The RB engines from nissan were pretty good too
smokey nagata /top secret did just that LOL

GREAT SHOW & GREAT EDITING!
The millitary green car is a toyota crown from the late 60s to mid 70s and i belive its a 1uz in it.
NOPE!
Its a mk3 crown saloon,1971'ish...MS64,i own one...no uz V8,just a lowly 1JZ...drives excellent!

The retro looking rocket bunny kit on the s14 is a boss v2 kit.
Only other car that rocket bunny has made a boss kit is the rx7 fd.

Hey Chad, the car with the chrome zoomies coming through the hood is a 1970s Toyota Crown.
Found the CB media sticker near soi 11 i think. Nice vid
Car next to Dodge truck is a Toyota Crown were common in Australia in the 70s chassis sometimes used for Cobra replicas.
