- Super quick video highlighting fuel mileage at 2K miles and before resetting for tonneau cover coverage. I was at 17 MPG when I hit the reset button. Will update after some good mileage and similar driving pattern.
My 2017 supercrew Lariat with 502A and max tow averaged 21 mpg over 25K miles. I bought a 2021 Powerboost speced the same way with 7.2 gen. It so far has averaged 21.5 mpg and many small trips around 20 to 30 miles it gets 24+ mpg. Love this truck!
That’s awesome to hear, man. Success stories are always a breath of fresh air!
Bought the 2.7 because it gets much better mpg.
I have 6000 miles and for highway driving I have got 23mpg on a 260 mile trip
I see you’re jamming to Starset, nice!!
My 2016 2.7 super cab 4wheel drive stays pretty much on average 19.7 . I had 21 something 7 months ago when I bought it. I drive about 50 miles a day at 80 to 85 mph mostly down I 15 in southern Utah back and forth to work round trip.
Wow still holding strong. They’re not bad on gas, but gas prices are wayyyy too high right now. It’s painful to fill up, man
@@Louie_Ponce_Motography Yes it is painful !! Other than oil changes it doesn't leak oil or burn it. I have added about a quart all together in the last 8 months. I heard the 5.0 burns about a half a quart a month. I have 114 thousand miles on it
My 2021 3.5 platinum has averaged 18.6 in 12500 miles of driving. Haven’t reset it since I drove it off lot in January 2021
Nice! It’s recently gone up to 18 because I drove a couple hours on highway. Other than that, not bad for full size trucks! 🤘
I have 22 super crew fx4 3.5eb with 2000 miles and am getting 17.8-18 mpg off 89 oct
Good to hear! Solid numbers for these trucks. My daily consists of about 20-30 miles a day. Mostly city with a little highway. I’m happy with the 17.7 I’m getting right now! Still wish I had the extended range tank though
I bought a 2021 f150 supercrew 5.0 4x4 I hover in-between 19-19.5 mpg with hardly any highway miles in the first 3k miles
Good stuff!!
cant complan number times i hit 27mpg driving at speed limit with the cruise on
Mine gets 25 on trips. No issues at all.
Nice! I’m still averaging 18mpg. Same ol shit I’m doing lol got a trip coming up soon so we’ll see what happens. Thanks for watching!
That’s sorry mpg, thought about getting one, but didn’t. My Lightning being delivered late July should get 68 mpge
Cool, enjoy your power wheel and thanks for watching
Lets take a 500 mile road trip and see who gets there first...once people realize the limitations of the Lightening, the hype will soon be over
@@davidpeachey3770not really planning a 500 - 5000 mile trip anytime soon, but go right ahead and get there first
1999 f250 19 mpg -paid for also
Nice. I hope I have a truck that’s paid for in 23 years
Can I ask why you went with the 3.5 instead of the 2.7 or 5.0?
Yeah of course, man! So I had a 2013 FX4 with a 5.0 and it was a great truck. Great truck and not a single issue, but I have a habit of trading vehicles in for new ones, so I got a 2016 F-150 with a 3.5 EB. I was skeptical at first of the reliability of the turbos but it turned out to be an amazing engine for the time that I had it. Now, the only reason I traded that one in was because it was leased (took it to Hawaii) and when I went to refinance, the numbers sucked so I got another one. Long story short, I love the 3.5 EB. It’s got tons of power and I personally haven’t had any issues with them. Sorry for the long story but hopefully that answered your question!

I'm personally going back and forth between the 2.7 and 3.5.
2.7 is good for economy but I like the idea of the power the 3.5 has.
@@thegreatempire3882 I’ve never driven a 2.7, but I’ve heard really good things about them. Surprisingly quick and enough power for those who buy them. I’d say you can’t go wrong with either one. I could never go back to a 5.0, man. Sounds good and all but It just doesn’t have that off the line quickness, and that’s what I love about my 3.5.
@@thegreatempire3882 The 2.7 has a lot of power too. Probably a little faster off the line but if you want to tow more than 9 thousand pounds legally then you need to get the 3.5 . The 2.7 has enough power to tow 10,000pounds but not legally
