Victor Timely was a way better character than I thought he was gonna be. I loved how funny he was. Considering he’s THE villain of this saga, it was great to see him as kind of a goofball
Ok so here is how it went down, O.B's work is based on 19th century victor timely from sacred timeline and victor(branched) based his on O.B's.

Fine threads of power, or FIVE threads of power? With time being the last that came later? Perhaps the real story of the infinity stones? I know later is subjective with all the time travel, but it might make sense that the infinity stones were never stones, just part of the time filaments eventually being constrained down to stones. I mean they started off showing how the stones were worthless in the beginning, but maybe that's a plot diversion?
Next episode will I guess be the back stories of the members of TVA including Mobius and Ouroborous after they’re pulled back to their original timelines after the bang.
I totally agree. If you recall ALL of Loki had to be pulled from the time stream. I think when you get "spaghettis" it's like when kang in the comics spread renslayer through the timeline in the comics.
Yeah that's probably where we see Mobius selling jetskis like in the trailer for the season. Loki is going to have to go through time to collect the agents

I think Victor Timely isn’t an actual villain here..like look at Loki. He’s not the same exact Loki we’ve come to know so this Kang variant isn’t a villain exactly….just a thought.

I think the biggest hint that Obe is more important than what we see, is that he can reboot the entire systen, and lock out Ms Minutes.
True, he knows most about the TVA. I feel like he can be asked most of the questions and have the correct answers for all of it.
The vibe I get from OB is that basically built all the technology in the TVA and maintains it all as well.
Plus he isn't effected by memory wipe, he is the answer to everything

If we use the Ouroboros from Norse mythology (Jörmungandr, aka the Midgard serpent) and say OB was connecting the multiverse like a bifrost, then we can say the Kangs were like the Romans who took over and created an ordered republic (timeline), ultimately having a Ceasar.

OB is the more wholesome version of he who remains that we & the multiverse deserve. Is anyone else hoping to see him play a larger role in Kang Dysnasty or maybe even Secret Wars?

Honestly.. Loki is perfection since it's first season.. that's literally how to push agenda while make a good story. you make the "female" character strong without making "male" weak. They're side by side, also LGBT spice is aokay too..
Anyway.. This has always been a battle between Order and Chaos from the start.. Sylvie leads the chaos while Renslayer leads the Order. The others are just cogs in a gear that works so fine..

but sylvie and ren arent the chaos and order. its all of the kangs that create the order and chaos because they want to rule the multiverse or create harmony (by ruling the multiverse that is lmao). the timeline is mixed up and it loops. kang said there was a war long ago but it is actually yet to happen and ren slayer and kang will continue the loop or loki and sylvie will break it and put OB on the position of the one who remains. (or maybe a better version of kang but they all are the same and the loop will continue again)
also xmen and deadpool and the other guys will join too so phase 4 still has chance to get better

This would explain why this Kang is in the 1800's .. while all the others are in the future.
And because Timely was in the 1800's .. he was unable to develop the time travelling tech .. however OB in the future ... used Timely's incomplete works to develop the Tech and created the TVA ... with Loki becoming the originally HWR.
And one of the future Kangs ... discovered the TVA ... killed the Timekeepers & Loki ... eliminated all of Kangs and protected his own timeline using the TVA. But this evil Kang turned good like Loki ... and has been trying to restoring the original timeline .. and find the Loki who would become HWR.

One thing to note too is that the Victor that got spagettified was also from a branched timeline and not the sacred timeline. So 616 Victor Timely is still alive.

My thought right now is that the "sacred timeline" is the timeline in which all conditions are met to ensure He Who Remains comes to power. The branches jeopardize that, and the TVA is unknowingly being used to keep He Who Remains in control.
Theres something about O.B. that we dont know yet but im sure we'll find out.
He is Kangs partner and he wiped his memories so he acts as a sleeper agent

Nah they only got it for a bit when the dampeners shut off, but now that the system rebooted the magic doesn’t work. Also the TVA is probably fucked from the explosion

I think Loki would go back in time and ask casey to collect all timestones and bring them to the control area of the temporal loom.
Since outside of the TVA its pure raw time energy, the infinity stones which represent control of time, could result in some sort of NULL time zone barrier, where time cannot flow. allowing those carrying a timestone to be able to walk in raw time unprotected
maybe they will use that time-room to compress all variant timestones ever collected into 1 small stone. meaning they have 1000000 stones the size of just 1

No, Victor says he considers the TVA handbook a "correspondence" between him and the author. I think the book updates itself and then O.b. and Victor can see what the other has written in the book as they write and and they can both communicate in that way.

I believe Victor is the origin of Kang not a planted variant. I think OB tells us this when he says Victor Timely was an under appreciated genius who didn’t have the technology available in his time to have reached his potential. Victor is the inventor of the loom. But OB is the inventor of the ability to pull a temporal aura out of the timeline. He built it pretty easily to help Loki. I think OB extracted Victor and then Victor installed the loom. This beginning this current cycle that leads to He Who Remains (who supercharges himself by dropping off the TVA guidebook to himself to ensure the repeat of his victory).
Well no cause OB says he learned everything from victor timley. Which means at some point he who remains or victor timley had OB write the tva handbook
I agree ppl are caught up with Kang being Nathaniel Richards but are forgetting that the MCU makes changes to fit their own story. Just like it didn't make sense in the video when he said OB without glasses didn't know Timely because he knew him when he was brought back into the tva he just didn't recognize him initially but acknowledged that he's known him

Yeah, sort of the reverse of what happened to Loki. Instead of pulling him out of the timelines to solidify him in one fixed time, the spaghettification is what creates all his variants. (Similar to how Revona is scattered through time constantly reincarnating in the comics.)
Could Victor’s writings in the Handbook change the book retroactively similar to the way Loki changed OB’s memory in real-time by time slipping?
I love how *different* He Who Remains is in the finale from the way he is in the recent flashback. He is far more "Kang-like" in Ep. 4
What if OB, Mobius, and Casey were the original time keepers? Aren't those the only ones we haven't seen with variants? Also those three each seem to have a connection and hidden history together.

The TVA handbook is some sort of time resistant connected through all time mcGuffin. Timely drew a bunch of diagrams and ideas in the handbook, allowing OB to see all of Timely's work. The other TVA employees even talk about the weird drawings and diagrams in the TVA handbook. I mean nobody has wondered why or how the TVA handbook is like 50 pages long but describes in detail how everything in existence works?
So in case Jonathan Majors doesn't reprise his role as Kang or his other variants in the MCU, will Ke Huy Quan takeit over from hereon? Could it be Feige's way of ensuring a backup plan in case Major's trial goes south?

What I understand: there are two Victors, the original Victor without the nexus event was the one who inspired OB, and the Victor Spaghetti is just a variant that was inspired by OB, therefore by his original self.
From this perspective there is no loop and the real creator of the TVA would be Victor Timely, and since WHR is not a stutterer, he may have come from a different line and killed the original Victor in a point of the sacred line.
HWR does have a stutter. He just has more control over it

What if Victor getting Spaghettified that close to the loom is what scatters his essence across the multiverse, in a type of inverse to how they stopped Loki from Time Slipping by pulling his essence from it, & that's what creates the Kang Invasion of the whole multiverse?

I think the thing with the TVA handbook, its making a nod back to episode 1, where loki went back in time to talk to Ouroboros, and then remembered he had a conversation with Loki. I think Victor Timely isn't dead, but got sent (time slipped) back to a TVA before Ob knew much about the TVA, and so timely will teach him then.
When "he who remain" from the first season talked about meeting his variants from different universes, i believe victor timely was one of them (Hence why he was from a branched timeline and not a sacred one. And he backstabbed him after he got needed info from him, like how he betrayed Ramona. I think he used him again to provide the tva with his device and knew he would perish trying to fix the loom. I guess he's clearing the path so when he come back it less people he has to deal with. I dont know just a thought. Dont mind me, episode was insane

Maybe the Celestials made the TVA and Ouroboros is an Eternal like Phastos which may be why he’s so good and fast at inventing and doesn’t age. The celestials installed HWR to maintain the sacred timeline to protect all the celestial planet-babies. Perhaps Tiamut was destroyed because Sylvia killed HWR and allowed the multiverse to go unchecked, whilst Tiamut’s death would otherwise have been a nexus event and be pruned.

I think when the multiverse was discovered by each respective Kang, the Kang's built the tva as a the network you explained, but once the war broke out that changed. The winner, he who remains, retrofitted the TVA into the TVA agency and used it to control the timelines.
Well that can’t be true cause he who remains says “hence the tva”. He says he created the tva to manage the flow of time to further prevent any other branches from existing..

When HWR says "a variant of myself", could it be that HWR was also activated by a variant of himself? The way he acts is nutty, a stark comparison to Victor Timely. Through multiple multiversal cycles, HWR always learns that he was activated within his own timeline by a previous version of himself which over time drives him crazy as it means he can't have free will. He mentions a variant of himself first travelled to share his time travel/multiverse tech with other variants, and for a time there was peace, but it was narcissistic and self-congratulatory. He's in love with how intelligent he is, it's just that Timely didn't live long enough to become a malevolent figure like many of the Kang variants, and the way he spaghettifies makes me wonder if that was the multiverses way of saying any Kang that isn't inherently evil *will* be pruned with no exceptions. The only reason I can think HWR wasn't pruned is because he isolated the timeline and was put in charge of the TVA by his previous variant.

I've noted in other threads that HWR never refers to himself in the first person until he discusses "weaponizing Alioth." Everything else is attributed to variants. Also, it's interesting to me that he says that a "variant of myself" discovered the multiverse when he claims that "other versions" were doing so at the same time. If he were those "other" versions, wouldn't he have said *I* was a 31st century scientist who discovered the multiverse?

This will never happen, I’m sure, given the history of the MCU and its treatment of source material, but I would love to see Ouroboros revealed as an imprisoned, Master Order, while Alioth is revealed to be an imprisoned Lord Chaos. Just say “YES” to more cosmic entities in the MCU. I know they’re OP but damn they’re so cool in the books.
I'm going with the thought that when Victor was spaghettified that all his strands were spread throughout the multiverse.

I wonder if next episode, Loki has a time slippage and goes back in time and tries to stop the events of last episode. however, every choice in the episode we think something bad will happen...but only good stuff did. I think the episode is gonna repeat itself, but with all the bad outcomes this time, and Victor Timely does turn into Kang.
I think next episode will pick up with Loki after he was pruned by himself. Technically he should wake up in the Void with Alioth again. Also, Renslayer will be there as well.

We know how one gets pruned, but I have yet to hear anyone explain how one gets their memory wiped. How is Kang wiping one’s memory. He commissions Ms Minutes to do the deed but how is this carried out?
How important is it just having one’s memory wiped and hope that they never have recall?
Ouroboros has to be some form of Kang, one of the biggest things we know about Kang is that he only trusts/thinks of himself. If there's multiple different types of Loki's, who's to say that Ouroboros isn't another version of Kang. One that is constant and/or harmless to the overall picture of what Kang is trying to do. There's a reason why he knows and/or has an answer to almost everything.
Are we not Going to talk about how Casey takes the time loop corrector while Oruborus is distracted? Even though he does place it where it needs to be placed, I think it’s something that needs to be looked at more thoroughly.
I think Casey is one of the few if not only TVA employee who has fully remembered the TVA guide book. That being said, I think he was just one step ahead of the game. And the idea that Casey, OB, and Mobius have a secret history is worth looking into.
everytime someone said to OB that "you wrote this book" he used to answer that "yes I wrote it"
but when VICTOR asked OB add"I wrote everything I learnt from 90's inventor" why he never told anyone before

HWR always says no partners… and the handshake was FOCUSED ON by the camera… where else in the entire series do we see HWR shake hands with another? In the animation HWR when discussing he congratulated other versions of himself…

It's always something BEFORE the chicken comes, so it's the egg, which then matures INTO a chicken. The egg comes first as that's where the DNA evolution occurs. This time, it's Victor, without him, there would be no OB. It's not THIS Victor of course.
Maybe ouroboros actually was original kang and Another kang erased his memories of being a kang so he doesn’t know that he’s kang

All of this has to be a part of the plan. It almost seems like Victor Timely was intentionally ignoring the chaos that began after they stuck his part in the extractor. He also said, "everything is going as planned" when Mobius asked how things were right before that. He was so interested in the Hot Cocoa machine but didn't take a drink to taste it and instead offered it to the hunter. Like he almost knew what was coming next and he basically just playing a part to further the plan.

But you also gotta remember when OB said something like "if he had more resources, he'd be bigger than Einstein" referring to Victor. So because OB says this, i think HE'S the first HWR. OB wrote the TVA handbook because of Victors writings/hand drawn inventions. OB sees it in the future and builds the tech himself after Victors writings and creates the TVA and writing the handbook. Then after who knows how many loops happen or however the infinite threads work, the multiversal Kang war happens and OB is kinda overthrown as HWR with the Kang from season 1.
Hmm although time works differently in the TVA it was probably established after 1893 in real time. Perhaps when the variant of Victor Timely emerged in the late 19th century time and memories were adjusting accordingly to OB. Kind of like when Loki in episode 1 when he traveled to the past to meet OB, the present version started having memories of Loki’s conversation with his past self.
Kang being in the past means that he never uses the technology to become evil, tgerefore it is the only timeline from which no other kang can derive from because kangs weaponise the technology they are given
From my understanding, Ouroborus is young Victor Timely's muse for the TVA technology, who in turn was inspired by "old" Victor Timely's (He Who Remains) writings on Time and branch timelines.
Their relationship is the snake eating its own tail and Ouroborus is He Who Remains 'other secret weapon' aside from Ailioth. Ailioth helped kill them, Ouroborus keeps them dead.

Assuming that both Victor Timely and O.B. make it through this season, who else wants to see a makeout session between them? Probably the only healthy relationship any Kang variant has ever had.
OB kept saying that they were all going to die. Even though he worked diligently to prevent it, he knew the failure was inevitable.
Ouroboros said "we" not "he" that shows that he might have been the one person that Victor timely partnered with. He also followed it up by saying "It would have been bigger than Einstein." Remember all these variants were taken from different timelines. So that shows the reason why he has such a connection with Victor Timely.
Pretty sure it's a loop/paradox. It's not linear cos it's a giant loop of destruction and creation. OB is the creator, but he is also the destroyer. There are TWO forces at play here. Kang is trying to reset the loop. Loki's job is to break the cycle, and ending the paradox. I wouldn't be surprised if OB turns out to be the villain for this season.
O.B should’ve hit one last “We’re all gonna die!” at the end of episode 4.
I think that the infinity stones will be involved now since magic can be used. The infinity stones can reverse time and stop the catastrophe that has happened or is about to happen.

they just temporarily reboot the systems and to think that tech can surpass infinity stones is mind-blowing for MCU (does Loki still have a time stone on his pocket?)
Loki is the original He Who Remains ... and the TVA was made by OB working with Loki ... who had seen incomplete works of Victor Timely because he was a variant from the 1800's instead of in the future. And OB & the Kangs from the future ... all developed the time traveling tech which Timely was unable to do because he was from the 1800's.
So the TVA was created by OB using the incomplete works of timely ... and Loki because He Who remains ... but one of the Kangs ... found the TVA and conquer it .. killing the timekeepers & Loki ... ending the Universal War ... destroying the original Timeline ... and make his on timeline the Sacred one. But then this evil Kang ... became good ... and He Who Remains .. made the robot Timekeepers and tried to recreate the original timeless with the TVA that he destroyed. And he's been trying to also recreate the Loki He who Remains ... with all the loki variants he's been experimenting with.
How did Kang tame Alioth? Did he have technology or did he have a certain god help enchant it?

Maybe. Maybe this Loki stays at the TVA and when the war breaks out, he realizes HWR is the only one who can win and he enchants Alioth so HWR can stop the war.
Wild guess but Thor, Odin and the brave statue maybe parallel to Kang, Renslayer, and OB [him being unknown like the other statue]

Given the end of the last episode what if time restarts.? Since all TVA members had their memories erased it would mean Oroboros can’t possibly remember who He Who Remains is, but we can assume all employees kept the memories intact that would enable them to run the TVA. Meaning it’s possible Oroboros does in fact remember Victor Timely due to him being vital in Oroboros’s influence for writing the TVA handbook.
The point I’m getting at is if time restarts then it’s possible that we will see a younger Oroboros who’s mind is freshly wiped except that of Victor Timely and their shared knowledge of science and technology. However Victor Timely may not reappear until later in the phase because he was only present to help stop the loom from exploding. After time restarts that’s no longer an issue and he has no reason to be brought to the TVA by Loki. Still, that could be why Oroboros has memories of Victor, but not vice versa. Because Oroboros remembers a restarted Victor and then doesn’t see him for hundreds of years until the loom is in danger once again and it’s Victor who hasn’t died yet.
Super confusing and all hypothetical of course 😂 we don’t really know what that explosion was, but I doubt they killed off everyone like that with 2 more episodes left lmao unless there’s no longer a time loop Victor Timely will return.

Maybe the whole reason why Kang / He Who Remains doesn't do partnerships is because the first partnership he ever made was with O.B and that led to him getting spagettified. That's why he doesn't partner up with people anymore.

What if Victor didnt die when he spaghettified but rather was a much more violent brutal version of a timeslip which sent him further into the TVAs past than Loki got sent to and he meets OB and teaches him everything he needs to know to write the guidebook and they build the TVA together but then forces OB to stay in the basement for hundreds of years because he doesnt do partners

The bootstrap paradox, occurs when an event influences its own past occurrence. It's like a time travel scenario where you go back in time to give Shakespeare a copy of his own works, and he publishes them as his own, but where did the original work come from? It creates a loop without a clear origin, making it paradoxical.
He who remains went back in time and talked to him just like the episode when Loki went back and talked to him, and then he remembered everything in the future. It’s just he he remains, went back talk to him, and now he’s remembering like he remembered everything that happened and that way.
How does everyone not see that it was Loki. Loki created the TVA. We’ve seen footage of him going around recruiting everyone.

I agree that OB might be the original caretaker of the “TVA”, managing the flow of *time* itself; ensuring that it always moves forward as it is meant to, naturally. However, I think he was duped into enlisting Timely’s assistance (as is his apparent trickster nature 🤔) only to be overtaken, and had his memory wiped and placed in eternal servitude. This allowed Timely to make his timeline/variant “sacred” making him the victor of the variants (patent pending).
The constant memory wipes could possibly explain OB’s funny behavior, a la Men in Black’s memory wipe device.
The interesting “Easter egg” I saw, was the seemingly self congratulatory handshake between OB and Timely paralleled the snake eating it’s own tail; especially if the creator of the TVA was in fact OB. 🤝

If you think about it, it would be in He Who Remains best interest to keep one person with their memory intact to keep the place running.

I was thinking OB was the physicist that originally inspired the inventions of “he who remains”. And realising that even in winning the Kang war more variants will inevitably come. He had to control the timelines! To go and work with OB to theorise & create the loom could take an unknown amount of time, in which more post war Kangs may come to fruition.
As a result he placed a variant (Victor) in a time where he could theorise without the resources to become another Kang and gave him his ideas on creating a loom influencing the OB of the future to continue this work. If incomplete he would repeat the process taking OB’s work back to Victor. Therefore gaining multiple “lifetimes” of this work without costing any time after the war. Until he could simply built OB’s (and “his”) concept easily. Therefore preventing all Kangs for only a days worth of time travel and without effecting his own timeline.

big twist TVA was originally created by an entirely different group that was used to suppress victor timely from ever gaining any foothold anywhere in all timelines as they posed that much of a threat as a specific future version of themselves that they are all capable of becoming. However someone maybe Mobius (especially due to his action with loki we know he is likely) would take pity on or otherwise have some feeling about a variant of victor timely giving them the plans of their TVA (which may hold slightly different information than ours and perhaps have say a bright yellow cover instead) that would be used to open a way to other variants that would then fight back against being oppressed by the others. Perhaps after winning and taking over the TVA their was a time of peace then the original threat would resurface and begin to rule all versions of themselves and universes in a way that at least one victor timely didn't agree with so that version teamed up with the others to weaponize Alioth to wipe out all of his variants at the time to create a unified timeline where the ultimate threat doesn't exist with the last victor timely acting as both guardian and prisoner at the end of time, constantly suppressing universes where the ultimate threat can be.
I mean would be fun at least.

I hope not, but perhaps we are placing a lot of faith on OB's significance - OB could simply be a afterthought to a variant of King, a last resort 'object' created within a timeline ensuring an endless loop of rebirth/death of Kangs. Analogously, OB resembles a couple lines of messy code, which serves a single function, but would ultimately crash the program if not executed.
