- Took the tube back to J St. Marina and handled some Spotted Bay Bass. Managed a couple and lost a beast (not on cam, sadly). But overall, it was a good 2 hour session while we grinded out those slips.

I went with my kayak straight out of the harbor j street toward to the left mostly all my cast I was pretty much catching legal spotted bass all day...and one kinda of fish was jumping out of water constantly fun yak fishing....great video keep up the good fishing..

So I have a float tube I just bought and I’m not sure if it’s the fins that came with it are cheap or I couldn’t swim in the correct direction on my float tube. Is there a technique to use to properly go the way you want or it could be the cheap fins it came with
Waiting for my first tube to come in. Do you wear anything on your legs when you’re in the water? Do you ever keep your fish? If so what do you put them in while you’re out there?

Good video. Just went float tube fishing for the first time a few weeks ago and slayed some spotties and some sand bass in LA harbor. What rod and reel setups are you using ? I recently got the shimano SLX XT. I paired it a St Croix mojo Bass specifically for float tubing but i got my eye on that Fenix M1 for my next setup.
I do not own any of these combos anymore. All my mid 2019 - 2020 videos will include all the new gear used in the description of the video.

How do you like tubing vs renting a small boat
johnnymohani those 1 things are conpletely different. Depending on conditions and what you are targeting is what it comes down to. Small boat you can take into high current. Float tubing? Better have not skipped leg day.

Great video! I really enjoy it! How your inflatable tube boat holding up? Is it pretty durable? Would it puncture if you hit a rock? I'm thinking about getting one, but not sure how durable they are. Anyway, did you say that was peanut butter you used as a fish scent? If so, never heard of that one!
Grand Wonder its holding up well. very good reviews on this tube. it's called the outcast fishcat. and the scent i was using was Uni Butter. it's local here in San Diego.

They are usually made of tough material with a separate bladder inside, so you could snag it pretty well or hit a rock it's not likely to puncture.

Next time you fish slips try using some hookup baits since they're good on the drop. just a thought
+Sofiane Chelfini believe it or not. Hook up baits wasnt producing also. My bud was throwing it for 1hr. We were also tedting my new baits i got custom made. And yes i knoe hookup baits work. Chad is a bud of mines :)

How do you have pole holder set up? I’m trying to get/make one like that.
i just googled or youtubed some videos and came up with my own design, i no longer have it but it is simple to make, pvc or abs tubes and connectors and some hardware also, bungie cords. hope that kinda helps. ill eventually get another tube setup this year and get back out there.
