Honestly, books from Meesho are such a steal! The quality is great, and they're super affordable for someone like me who loves collecting and reading. I’ve bought 7 books from there so far, and they haven’t disappointed me. I’m definitely planning to keep buying from them

U are not a book nerd when u pay the money to the pirated ones. As a book nerd u should acknowledge someone's work not just the content in the book. U could find second hand ones.

Let me tell you a new writer from India Saksham has recently found his pirated copy of SAMSARA at one of book market and he happily bought it as he understands why these pirated books are getting sold it's the content that matters and that grow author familiarity among audience. And I write it again who can afford they choose quality and original one who can't they go for pirated (30books a yr × £10 = £300) . I'm huge fan of original one and it's paper quality, print and contribution to author and these books have taught me understanding and different perspective and not to judge a fish by his inability to climb a tree. Believe me screen are not that good for eye and feel of books can't be replaced and access to library is not easy for everyone and only community library have these books and are low in number those to are not accessible by all because of N number of reason and plenty of study space library doesn't keep that much book and book nerd don't sell off there books that easily and who get lucky buys that or else whatever they find cheaper.
People talking about pirated copies, ask meesho to stop selling. I own more than 10 books because of meesho. I spent less than 900 (combos). For same books i will have to pay more than 2k. With the frugal mindset i have, i wouldn't have had purchased even one book if I had to pay full mrp.

I also felt the same. Buying books cheap, unless you're a hardcore book collector, is not bad. I have the G3TM bookset. From the video I felt like the print of yours and mine is not the same. But of course even buying second hand books is also fine provided it should be mentioned in the description of the website.
People who are crying that the books are pirated, dude amazon and flipkart also sells pirated books and that too so expensive, so it is better not to spend so much when you are getting the same thing on meesho. Ordered 10+ books and all of them were of great quality. A great app for sure..

Agreed. I bought a book from Amazon which arrived in worn out condition and it was priced at around Rs. 500 but bought the same book from Meesho, priced at Rs. 300 and it was in such a great condition and definitely worth the money.
I got The Good girl's guide to muder and as good as dead for just ₹350 from Amazon Which are original... The cost difference is because Amazon mostly sells original books from which authors actually earn...and they do have sales
i ordered silent patient , from meesho and was very scared if it would arrive im a good condition or not , but it did cuz WHEN I RECEIVED THE ORDER I WAS AMAZED the book quality of pages were very similar to the books i have ordered from amazon , flipk , bookchor etc etc so ya meesho is 100% WORTH IT as she mentioned if you dont collect collector's edition then only go for it

I bought some books from Meesho! It was much cheaper compared to Amazon or Flipkart, though the paper quality was slightly different. I didn't mind that too much, but my main issue is the limited selection - only popular books are available there. I hope you enjoy these books ❤

I actually got the good girl series for soo cheap like they were selling for minimum ₹560 and i got them from ₹270 or something and also a pretty good quality

Meesho sells Pirated books that’s why they are cheap. The cover are glossy says it all that it is pirated. And in original books the prints are never bad. You should not promote pirated books as the money does not good the author and the publisher. Piracy is Robbery.

Meesho sells Pirated books that’s why they are cheap. The cover are glossy says it all that it is pirated. And in original books the prints are never bad. You should not promote pirated books as the money does not good the author and the publisher. Piracy is Robbery.

As far as students are concerned you can buy second hand books from online websites or book fairs which are genuine. Also, amazon has sales where you can find books at cheaper rates. Piracy cannot be accepted at any circumstances.
