I found the Great Bay Temple from Majora's Mask much harder than the Water Temple from Ocarina of Time. Not just because of collecting the Stray Fairies but because the Mini-Bosses and Gyorg were more difficult to beat than Dark Link & Morpha
Dark Link was really easy no damage first walkthrough blind
It should be easier, just follow the pipes and it’s pretty straightforward.
Totally agree with the number one spot. Possibly the hardest in the series
Yeah a nightmare of a dungeon!
Jabu Jabu's Belly from Oracle of Ages truly deserved first place. It was a *hellhole*
Jabu Jabu's Belly from Oracle of Ages was my favorite dungeon from that game
I unironicly like the water dungeons. Haven't played all of them, but I still love em.
Same
Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess are the only three I found the hardest because they share a confusing layout. Of course the Iron boots made it annoying for me.
3:20 mucktorock? Thats poop shark!
If you’re including ancient cistern on this list, I’m sorry, Jabu Jabu’s Belly (OoT) is also a water dungeon. The enemies are literally water based, the bosses are an octopus and a jellyfish. You’re literally in a giant fish, so to me, that’s a water temple.
Terminal Montage's video on the OoT water temple perfectly sums up the frustration of trying to find the keys and having to constantly pause in oder to toggle the iron boots.
I enjoyed Jabuul’s ruins. The whole game felt like fresh air with new mechanics. While the Cistern is still one of my all time favs, I def put Javuul’s Ruins up there.
the temple of dropplets really has water in solid stages
When Ocarina of Time came out it took me WEEKS to figure out the water temple. 😂
The Great Bay Temple is the one I remember most of all. Granted, that may have to do with the fact that Majora's Mask was the first Zelda game I played and remains my favorite in the franchise. I've played it over a few times while most others I just did once through.
I really enjoyed Jabul Ruins. It was a fresh take on the water dungeon design
Awesome Video!
Could you do the same thing with every fire dungeon sometime this week pls reply
It really stinks how water dungeons have such a bad rep in Zelda games. They’re difficult, yes, but that’s only because water is such a tricky element to tackle. I love the Water Temple’s background music and the mechanical steam punk atmosphere of Great Bay Temple.
Its a shame that wind waker doeant have a water dungeon despite having an ocean
Honestly, I think that made up for that, I think we had enough water in that game to begin with.
Regarding the water temple, it might be the only temple or Zelda dungeon where I got stuck for a considerable amount of time. It was on a replay of the game, I believe it might’ve been for the master quest. But after I acquired the longshot, there is a song of time Stone I think behind the treasure chest in the treasure room? And that’s where a key is located. I grabbed whatever was in the chest after dark link and then left without grabbing the key or noticing the stone. I’ve been through the dungeon before but I didn’t remember it, and I spent days wandering the rest of the dungeon trying to figure out what I did wrong. I will never forget that experience for the rest of my life apparently.
Make one but with fire temples instead
Why don’t you use the switch version of links awakening instead of the original
to this day...I have never beaten all of Great Bay without a guide
I totally agree with everything except one thing. Plasmarine isn't a hard boss fight.
I would probably swap your 3rd and 4th places. I never thought Mermaid's Cave was as hard. Maybe it is because, in our first try, my sister and I did it the way it's meant by sheer coincidence (and I loved, and still love, the mechanic of traveling back and forth through time). OoT's Water Temple is still a pain in the neck for me, even more than Great Bay Temple, surprisingly
Every video on your channel is a little work of art. I look forward to the new episodes!🐋♂️🚗
The water temple from OoT will always be my fav. I never understood why so many peeps hated it 😂❤
I guess the iron boots on the N64 were just annoying. I never got any problems there but taking the boots on and of, oh boy, all the lost minutes 😅.
Literally just did Mermaid Cave. Died once, but it wasn't hard at all. If you check the map, you can get a way with a short stint in the past, then complete the present all the way, then finish the past. And the present section has the midboss warp.
Your channel is a source of joy and inspiration. Continue to delight us with your work.♂️🥧😽
Despite it being one of the most underrated dungeons in the franchise, Great bay temple really isn't difficult. It's only hard if you're someone who just stumbles around blindly with no plan of action.
If you get the big goron sword before the water temple, then dark link is a piece of cake. His shield can't block that sword. It still hits him
Great Bay Temple is so hard. That friggen eye ball boss is so hard
Water dungeons everyone's favourite, not!
Such was the influence of the Water Temple on gaming culture that people are now 'disappointed' when a water dungeon is easy or intuitive. I'm surprised Tears of the Kingdom was willing to risk giving that cursed name to a dungeon instead of calling it 'Bubble Temple' or 'Tearfall Temple'.
Now do Sonic Water Levels Ranked By Difficulty.
I’m honestly surprised that BOTW wasn’t ranked as low as TOTK. Puzzles were not either games strong suit.
I do think OOT’s was over hated though. While the pause to put the boots on was an awful mechanic, it seems mostly everyone missed that a platform that rose with the water in the center room. If we didn’t miss that, the backtracking would be lessened. The boss did suck though.
Apparently the original on the N64 Didn't show the platform moving up showing a way down. So they showed a cutscene of it in the 3DS remake.
Jabu Jabu's Belly from oracle is definitely hardest dungeon in all Zelda games.
I thought the Great Bay Temple was easier than Ocarina of Time's water temple. Sure, I got stumped at the seesaw room but it subsequent playthroughs didnt make me dread it. Im not sure that i dread any dungeon...except many Snowpeak Ruins only because of the misinformation Mrs Yeti gives and backtracking to her husband to make her reekfish soup to feel better.
You should rank the hardest normal type gym leaders in pokemon
I’ve been friends with Link and Zelda since the 1980s
Jabu Jabu's Belly indeed annoys me, more so the backtracking than the puzzles.
Great bay really isn’t that difficult unless you make it difficult for yourself. I only got stumped on freezing the stupid octorock to get the red pipe to activate
Jabu Jabu’s belly is included from Oracle of Ages but not Ocarina of Time? And since when is ice not water??
to me if this was my list I would put the Water Temple from Ocarina of Time at 8 and the Great Bay Temple at 9 and then Lakebed Temple at 2 really for reasons
Water Temple from Ocarina of Time at 8 because I learned the map so much when playing for the first time that I can easily beat it without the blue zora tunic
Great Bay Temple at 9 because I didn't have that much trouble the only thing that I had a hard time with was not knowing that I can freeze blue enemies but once I knew that it was very easy to do very easy that I can beat it like under 30 to 40 minutes now
Lakebed Temple at 2 because it still can be very confusing and hard and long to do a lot really
Ocarina of Time; Water Temple is the hardest of all
I got more confused and lost in the lake bed temple over ocarina
Brother please use skyward sword and twilight princesses hd versions instead
I think Vah Ruta should is the easiest. Also, again. Water Temple OoT isn't even hard, it's just slow, boring, and tedious.
Ocarina of time water temple is not difficult sounds more like a Arin Hansen complaint then a actual criticism great bay is difficult and the boss is a ugly angler fish But I'd rather have every Temple be the water Temple from ocarina of time than ever play Breath Wild ever again 😂😂
I didn't have trouble with the OOT Water temple because of the Iron boots mechanic or the changing of water. I got frustrated because I was missing a Key and when I first played on an emulator The keyboard made it impossible to aim for the eye on the wall and hook shot through the door before it closed. But I totally agree on Majora's Mask's. I hated that 3-day time limit. Also I find Morpheel could be a little difficult(especially on the Wii) on the first phase because you have to keep and eye on the eyeball while avoiding his attacks around. But once he swims out. really easy. Does Oracle of Seasons not have a Water Dungeon?

I don't consider triforce heroes a Zelda game
