When flying solo, the caliber truck ramp is the bomb.

I have a Lightning Trailer...27' I think, and about 6.6' width. I do not have studded tracks. I took kind of a minimalist approach with Caliber products just to keep the cost down. I have been very happy with the performance. We always load from the front angled ramp, and I have lined the center of that ramp with Trax Grabber, and placed short sections of Flex Glide just in the areas that had proven to be critical when we first started using the trailer. I did not put down anything in the main deck or rear ramp, as we are always either flat or running downhill, so it wasn't critical. Also, getting 4 sleds in my trailer is very tight, and requires some manual adjusting regardless, and the deck pieces make that a bit more difficult. My trailer has held up very, very well with just about $250 worth of strategically placed Caliber components. Very happy with the product, and it can be done without going over the top!

AJ, good video but you missed a few things that makes caliber special. You did not use lowpro glides on the door. You used the narrow 6" lowpro "grip" glides on the door and down the middle of the trailer. That's important. The traction from the grip glides is amazing and its what should be on a door for safety. Needed to focus on that. In the trailer on the sides you did you use 11.5 wide lowpro glides. Only issue is your first step in that man door will be so slippery on the lowpro glides. I'd take that piece out and put in a grip glide for safety.

I prefer the grip guides as well is use them in the whole trailer also works great in summer for the quad. Track Mat has held up great, then superclamp to hold everything down.

@@LiamG903 yes I only use grip glides. Seeing my family walking in and out of the trailer and knowing they won't slip is one less thing to worry about.

@@LiamG903 how are the track mats to walk on? Any traction when wet?

Just find an old bed liner and an old unstudded track and cut them up…. Much cheaper and easier. Looks almost as good.
