I am a cat lover but...I have never disliked a Dodo video until this one. If your cat has all these socialization problems, why are you letting her hurt and terrorize people. Maybe you should give her to your dad. He seems to be her happy place.
This cat needs a veterinarian and a behaviorist. The cat is terrified….. the dodo sharing this is insane. This animal is not happy, and clearly the entire house is suffering. There’s nothing funny about this video, and I’m not one of those Karen people, I just work with cats (RVT) and this cat has some serious fear based social issues.
Seriously, this isn't normal or adorable. She keeps letting people on the street get within range of her claws. I've seen cats like this on other programs that have improved with behavioral specialists, so this isn't a lost cause and shouldn't be accepted as that's just how it is.
I can't believe the people in the comments who think this is cute. That cat is physically hurting even the owner. Instead of getting it some help, the owner thinks it's funny and cute. People like these are why pet owners get a bad rep.
I agree.
Exactly
The girl seems really clueless to deal with this cat's issues. It's not a grumpy personality, it's a reaction to stress, chaos, and possibly trauma.
You're telling me the beginning of the video is not a solid proof that she's grumpy?? She literally went up, sniffed her hand and smacked the friendly woman that was simply trying to befriend the crazy cat.
@@linguinefettuccine5368 I hate when people anthropomorphize these animals; this cat didn't just decide that it wants to hate people because it's funny, it simply has a damaged brain through repetitive conditioning or outright trauma. it's clearly not getting the help it needs.
@Josa What's your fucking problem? Was my comment even directed at you? Why did you just come up and attack me personally with that comment? I was simply pointing out that the cat might just actually have a grumpy personality. What kind of childhood trauma you went through that made you so aggressive and stupid? And why are you even defending a cat on the internet that is not even yours? How pathetic
@@mallowtonmouse you should go tell the owner that, I doubt commenting on here is gonna help the cat at all
@@linguinefettuccine5368 but it might cause people like you to stop and thing "hey, maybe my cat has a serious issue and I should do something to improve their quality of life instead of writing it off as them being grumpy"
That woman taking her for walks and letting her interact with other people/animals KNOWING that she will attack is crazy
That is wild to me. I couldn't have an animal that didn't respect me in my house.
The dad was the only person who didn't annoy me in this video as well.
Honestly!!!! Everyone around her was constantly annoying and bothering her and putting her in situations she obviously was not comfortable in
The poor kitty is stressed out except for dad who doesn't annoy her.
What are you talking about? The cat has a nasty disposition toward everyone except the dad, and it's NOT because those other humans or miscellaneous animals on the street have aggravated the intolerant cat. It's like a b---h diva cat.
@@Fueunachimba How is approaching the cat, trying to pet her or just being nearby her a matter of "annoying" her? That makes no sense. When she sees another cat on the street, she goes out of her way to stalk, hiss and attack the other animal. That's annoying on the part of the nasty cat, not others. I recommend the owner give her to the dad or else just stop showing any interest until the cranky cat decides to behave decently.
It seems this one needs a new home. Less noise, children; less people in general. Had a cat like this and gave her to my 65 yr old uncle. She was so much nicer in her new environment.
maybe that why she love the grandpa, feeling him more chill and relax
If they gave her to the grandpa they can still visit her and she'd be happier.
This is right, poor cat is stressed with her.
@@adielbarrera9848 that cat isnt stressed on ig lol
@@Austinfdp The cat has licked a bald patch on its belly. That is ONLY caused by stress.
Update: Okay so looking at this persons account, they got a kitten when they thought itd be safe to introduce them, and Nanoos hurt them so bad that they gave the kitten up. That isn't a big enough warning sign?? They also admit "it's funny having a cat that hates you", and they constantly invade the cats space, openly saying they know it annoys her because she "loves her so much and cant resist" This cat seriously is not happy. They ignore what everyone is saying but this is abuse to the cat. It isn't gonna have a happy life like this. (Also their most recent video is the child getting attacked by the cat, I don't get how they don't see that as a giant sign they should look into the cat's behavior).
That is very upsetting. Like having a "hateful cat" as a pet is a quirk.
More like they get money for views… 😒
lifting the cat, taking her off balance, turning her upside down, entering her space, movements and laughter are even percieved as threatening to her. the cat is trying her best to comnunicate with these people but they completely ignore her language. it is one of the most painful things for me to watch... like seeing a person beating an agressive acting dog or a child in public. especially when the animal/child is responding to the owner/parents aggitation and stress expressions. cues are taken from owner/parent on a biochemical level. so the one wishing to control the situation must stay calm if they sincerely wish to interact with this being differently. it is not always intentional evil, unfortunately, many of them do so, not intentionally in ignorance or out of habit because lack of fully understanding the other beings impetus or communication attempts.
Shame on Dodo for not doing research
She’s making money off abusing her cat she won’t stop. Shes also super defensive in comments
She doesn't love the cat; she loves the attention she gets on TikTok and Instagram.
Exactly. I don’t get why she even keeps the cat except to use out for content
has that nasty influencer voice too
I had a friend who had a cat like this. My friend thought this cat would never change but one day my friend found a kitten by a dumpster and had to take it home overnight. She was afraid her cat would lash out. Her cat instantly loved the kitten and from then on the cat changed completely.
There's a video on The DoDO that is almost exactly like your situation.
The cat doesn't hate everyone. She's scared of everyone. Give her to your dad because she feels safe with him and her feeling safe is the key to her being happy.
The Dad lives in the house with the cat.
@@let_your_weird_light_shine_2.0 All I can think that they do then is stop trying to engage with her when she's showing clear warning signs that she doesn't want them close to her.

Fear does not mean a cat will always hide. That house is her house too. There are things in it she's afraid of/uncomfortable around (People) so she wants them to leave. How does a cat make the thing they are afraid of leave? Hiss and scratch at it.
Give her to your dad. She loves him, she clearly hates everyone else.
It seems like the right thing to do
Keep in mind, the dad might live with them. We don’t know the housing situation.
He might not have the resources to care for the cat.
He might not want the cat, and may not have the same outlook as her on feeling the need to keep the cat.
Things are not always so simple, im sure if the dad wanted her, she would have done so already.
🤣🤣🤣
Be quiet
Or beat some respect into the little sh*t!
this woman sounds so thrilled and proud that her cat is miserable and obviously needs help with fear problems.
If a rodent can't find happiness in an upper middle class family it ain't built for life
I have a similar cat. Good to have the cat checked out medically. My cat had some dental disease that was likely causing pain. She improved after that was resolved. She's also a cat who's afraid of her own shadow so a stress-free environment has also helped. As to the readers who say, "give to your father" maybe Dad doesn't want the cat. I appreciate the young woman who's willing to keep a difficult cat. Most would not, and we can't always completely alter our environments.
THANK YOU! For once, someone isn’t willing to completely change who they are as a person just for an animal who is not good spirited to begin. Not all animals are created equal either….
Needs to figure it out, not just live with it. Cat isn't having any fun either.
This is an excellent point. It would be a great place to start. I also suggested an animal behaviorist.
Lets her cat approach a lady knowing that it will swipe out at her: "Oh, I'm soooo sorry..."
Lets her cat approach a dog knowing it will swipe out at it: "Oh, I'm soooo sorry..."
Lets children near her car knowing it will swipe at them: "Oh, I'm soooo sorry..."
And over, and over again
And also knowing each of these encounters will stress out the cat.
Exactamundo! This cat needs a better home....NOW!
EXACTLY!! She is abusing her cat, it’s annoying how she acts so “shocked” with her behavior. She thinks it’s a laughing matter, her cat is clearly unhappy and she’s not doing anything about it. “I love my cat even if she doesn’t love me back,” the fact she’s gonna keep the cat with her just makes the cat even more unhappy. It’s disappointing to see her still own this cat.
Give the cat to your dad you are being cruel.
Isn't what the owner is doing pretty damn sad? Putting the cat in stressful situations just to get a rise out of her for internet fame.
I agree with the comments here. This poor little kitty is suffering from extreme anxiety. She's afraid of everyone possibly because of previous trauma. It seems Grandpa has the right energy for her.
I relate 😔
so the cat is suffering from some saught of PTSD
I agree! Can't help but wonder if this kitty has been abused by children before. The fact she is so defensive towards them...It's not very common behavior

She reminds me of this cat but way less aggressive. I did have a cat as well as a child who also would attack my cousin all the time because he always harassed him. I’ve been around this particular behaviour before and it’s just really no surprise why her cat hates her.

I adopted an older cat very much like this; it took several months to earn his trust, but he still hated everyone else. He was a big boy - 20+ pounds, and only slightly overweight - so he absolutely terrified everyone. When I was away for a week, he chased the cat-sitter out of my apartment. When I renovated my house, he intimidated and backed one of the workers into a corner, and wouldn't let him leave (the poor guy had to call me for help!). After I moved in with my wife, it took a year for the cat to stop trying to scratch her when she reached out to pet him. And, yet, when our son was born, that astonishingly mean old cat was a puddle of love from the first minute. He let my kid do anything to him. Tail-pulling, fur-messing, sitting on him, using him as a pillow. He let my son pick him up by the loose skin on his back, and carry him around like a purse without so much as a growl.
Mean cats are, secretly, the best cats. You just have to be patient, and love them unflinchingly.
What did you do to change the cat's behaviour?
@@avnistar2703 To some extent, we had to tolerate it. My wife was persistently kind to him, and that eventually worked to win his loyalty. Strangers, we'd tell them not to try to touch him (no matter how much it looked like he wanted you to - it's a trap!). When children came over, we'd keep him in the basement. Sounds strange, but it was totally worth all that for how wonderful he was when it was just family - and for his unbreakable love for my son.

I think this cat needs a single person family
So you know that the cat will lash out at everyone, yet you keep letting it get close to other animals and kids? Brilliant behavior, right there.
How else will she get the content and attention that she desires?
You can tell by the way all of her sentences end sounding like a question that she's an idiot. Why on earth would you knowingly let a violent animal near other people and animals and then just say sorry? She's a moron.

Truthfully, I wouldn't be shocked if she intentionally adopted a cat with aggression issues just to make "funny" videos. I don't know. Maybe I'm too cynical. I know this channel generally has wholesole content but this video really rubs me the wrong way.
@@BrandonHeat243 i’m deleting my earlier comment because i think you’re right and i was wrong. i was writing in defense on the idea that it’s a 4 minute video and i think it’s very rare for someone to acknowledge that cats shouldn’t have to show affection to be cared for, which made me feel like she was probably a responsible caretaker, so i felt we didn’t have enough context to judge for certainty. but tbh i shouldn’t defend someone when i also don’t have more context. there are absolutely situations in this video that are not acceptable, and just plain unwise-like allowing children to approach a cat that’s known to not like kids, so at the end of the day it doesn’t really matter. this isn’t something dodo should be sharing-there’s so many other people who could get the point across and don’t exploit animals in times of clear stress
Totally agree, animals choose u

Yes, this video is really insidious. It perpetuates the idea that cats are just "mean" and "grumpy." But this cat is COMMUNICATING with its owner that it is stressed out. But its idiot owner just keeps annoying the cat to get attention on social media.
It actually makes me really sad. I wish someone would rescue this cat and this woman could have a pet rock instead.

Animals have personalities just like people. Often times pets can have trauma (PTSD) from previous owners or incidents with strangers which can affect them for a long time (suspect that here). I have a cat exactly like this. She is bonded with only me and everyone else is an enemy. She came to me from a very abusive home with children who were allowed to hurt her when she was a kitten. Since then she doesnt trust kids or basically anyone, except me, because when she came to me I gave her all the space she needed.
'I want her to have a happy life' but refuses to give her up to a better home. That's not anger, that cat is stressed tf out
I think the rationale is "this cat's so mean that no one would adopt her, so if I gave her up, she'd get put down."
@@Zalis116 which is absolutely a possibility. cats do get euthanized at shelters, particularly if they are hissy. it's unfortunate but it's a reality. the owner understands that many cats do not have homes, and she is trying to provide her a good one with love and care and exercise. but many cats are not cool with large households, and girl cats can be as territorial as male cats. I don't know the owner's situation, it seems like she has a big family or housemates? some cats simply do not respond well to lots of people coming and going, and feel the need to assert themselves in order to feel like an area is theirs.

u know that wouldn't solve the problem rite? there are many causes of aggressiveness: could be the personality, stress, trauma. mostly caused by the environment and how it was raised. it's not just a genetic problem
Dodo videos usually cheer me up. This one just made me feel sorry for the cat. The part that upset me the most was when she said "you don't give away a cat that doesn't love you back." Yes, you should! The cat is clearly uncomfortable around you, you are just hurting the cat by trapping her with you. If she hates kids, stop bringing kids to her! The kid literally tried to throw something at the cat, no wonder she hates kids. She shows a liking to the dad. Either the dad should take the cat or maybe the cat would be more comfortable with other older men.
TLDR; This cat is traumatised, and that's not funny, cute, or heart-warming.
Mah dude, u spoke facts
Fr bro these people really defending the owner and making the cat "evil", like a cat cant be evil suddenly without reason so selfish
Well said
Agreed. It's not the cats fault. The owner seems sadistic. Recording the cat on walks and attacking people, with no warning them before, is just bizarre. It makes me think she's keeping this cat around for social media clout more than anything.
And dude I hate the fact that everyone that will interact with this cat will reinforce an anti-cat agenda. If this cat is mean, then all cats are mean, surely...
Not to mention what kind of a message they're putting in that kid's head, that tormenting a cat is fine and shouldn't be punishable.
That cat really needs a better home.
@@eltiofresca4998 No she didn't if your kid through a fit or said. Ihate you would you give him away? Op is an over opinionated clown like most on the internet. This is just another goofy bs response by someone who thinks they know better or are trying to gain some sort of clout. Cats are picky and can have attitudes and generally don't like humans except for the one they choose. Doesn't mean you give them away clown. Especially when shelters are filled with them. This is clearly two yrs old but I hope she called Jackson Galaxy cause he acts like so many of those cats on MCFH.
My cat also like this before return I back to my hometown during covid. I realized that she had been treated harshly by my ex stepmom. It sounds weird but you really need to talk to your cat like humans. Like tell them it's so wrong to hurting people. They will understand if you told them everyday. I can see that her father have a good communication with the cat.
the cat appears to be territorial and afraid of hands. She will growl and hiss as a warning to stay back. if you don't listen to her warning and show her your hands, she will try to attack. She is also very likely not fond of noise and high movement. She needs a calm and quiet place without people to relax. One major mistake I see happen over and over again, is people trying to approach her to apologise or try to befriend her. When She hisses, move back and walk away. let her come to you and prove to her you are no threat to her. When she does, offer food or treats to gain her trust over time. Try to play with her with cat toys but keep your distance. Over time, she will warm up to you and start trusting you.
i agree with you, 100%. any time I meet a cat who clearly isn't comfortable, I just leave them alone and give them time to get used to my smell and my voice. It's counterintuitive but it works.
It is that f ing kid. She throws things at the cat and makes a lot of noise. Get rid of the child, keep the cat.
It's not true cause the dad's owner picks her up and she does nothing lol so she's not afraid of hands she's just mean to people she doesn't like lol
some years ago I visited a friend with an older rescue cat. the cat "was grumpy" to everyone. After being there for an hour he jumped on my lap when I was checking email, and started rubbng my chin. Then it was "well the previous owner was clearly a man". Cats will like you less if you look straight at them, and go to pet them without being asked to or when unfamiliar. Ignore a cat (=leave him/her in peace) and see what happens.
addendum; my own tomcat sit by the fireplace close to my desk and anytime I get up (frequently) to go to the kitchen, patio, anywhere... I have to walk past. I make it a habit of not petting him whether he's asleep or not, so he knows it's his relax space.

Holy crap. This cat isn't a "fun killer", she probably is getting overwhelmed by the amount of noise and activity. It doesn't help by screaming every time she attacks; this poor cat needs someone or someplace she feels safe, or else putting her in a different room while guests are over would help.
Sweeping issues under the rug is not a way of solving them.

Poor kitty having to be so afraid especially the kids the way that kid made that like hitting gesture was upsetting that this cat is scared of what these people are doing, yes 100% agree on giving her to the Dad someone who will treat her better and knowing she'll be happy and safe.

😆 lololol cat antidepressants. No that cats needs to be put in check
I'm w/ you, Sharon. Cats act aggressively as a matter of self protection from learned fears.
An animal behaviorist might help this cat learn to trust again, but if deeply ingrained over time, the task could be impossible. The younger the cat, the better the possibility of improvement.

I met Jackson Galaxy at a cat rescue dinner; he doesn't even have a cat, he's a dog person. I swear. He was pretty cool, but it was just a way to make a living.
People seem to blame the owner for the cat’s personality, and while I believe this cat should belong to the dad, you have to realize that some cats are just grumpy and aggressive without an underlying trauma. We had a grumpy cat once, treated it like an angel and gave her everything she needed, but she never really liked visitors/other animals and was jealous of my very existence. So she left a scar on my face. These things happen
Yes there are cats who are agressive, BUT if you KNOW your cat is agressive you DO NOT walk with it on a leash and allow unsuspecting people get attacked by it and then just say "Oh My God! As if it was a surprise to you that the cat is agressive. SHE is the one behaving poorly. A responsible owner wouldn't put the cat or the other people and animals in such a situation.
My cat, Kodiak, is the complete opposite of this girl. She is extremely affectionate and she does tolerate my sister. She loves my dad and me.
Not only she is putting herself and her family in harm's way, but she's also putting total strangers and their pets in harm's way as well. This girl is very, very aloof and inconsiderate towards people around her.

Look on her account on IG and Tik Tok. She is getting views and money with this cat’s behavior. It’s a shame.
This cat is stressed out. There is no "she secretly wants to be with us" or "deep inside she's grateful." She doesn't "hate joy and happiness." She is letting you know that she is stressed out. Stop putting things in front of her face, it's abusive at this point. She doesn't know what "I'm sorry" means. You can fix this, and if you actually love her, you will fix it.
Nothing about this is abusive but the owner should definitely seek out a trainer the cat seems to have trust issues which is causing it to be aggressive
@@Tent112 It IS abusive, actually. Neglect IS a form of abuse. She's neglecting to take seriously the cat's obvious unhappiness. I think you're spot-on about the trust! ♡
Please let me be clear. I don't think she has any malice, and she clearly thinks she's doing right by the cat. Abuse can occur unintentionally. It's entirely possible she had no experience with cats before this. I just hope this isn't a gimmick to get more TikTok followers.
Abuse or no, there is something wrong going on here. Cats should be happy, and that cat clearly is not. Something in that cat's environment is off and something needs to change. As someone pointed out, maybe a trainer could help.
One thing that I find awful though is the way they let that cat go after everything on walks. A 12 pound cat does not pull you across the neighborhood to attack other cats. You let it lead you there. You don't tell someone, "He's a mean cat, so be careful," then let the cat swat at the person. You say, "I'm sorry, but he's a mean cat and he will swat you with claws. I can't let you pet him." It's great that she takes him on walks, since that seems to be his only true joy in life, but stop letting your cat attack everything that moves.

I could see a young woman getting pulled across the street or on to someone's property by a 150Lb dog, but a cat?? Seriously lady, I don't want to be mean here, but the problem likely isn't the cat. I look forward to the daily dodo videos for a positive reminder that people are good/altruistic and happy endings do exist.
After watching a video where a woman is pushing the narrative that she is the martyr, willfully and stubbornly insisting a cat remain miserable for clout, is disturbing. She is willfully ignorant when she “helplessly” allows family, friends, neighbors and other animals to unknowingly walk into an unsafe situation. Instead of “passively” filming her cat (and others) from getting hurt, she ought to stop filming, and take real action: to keep all those safe and from being unnecessarily stressed. Put the phone away and stop “acting” altruistically for the camera and actually be altruistic.
In addition, the logic that rehoming her cat, the cat will be “doomed”, is nonsense. Finding a home without children (or a happier/safer home) is absolutely feasible, we are the adults here right? Following her “logic” that we have a responsibility to little souls, we ought to protect them - Then are you trying to sell the story that a woman who is able manipulate us all for clout, can’t figure out how to leverage the public to find a happy home, to truly give this cat the best life ever?
This video reminds me of the insidious nature of social media and the lengths people will go to for clout.
Who needs the news when we have “feel good” videos like this.
You nailed it… lots of people calling other people snowflakes around here… this video doesn’t offend me, it concerns me. the dodo thought it was a good idea to post it for some reason, but all it shows is a terrified cat, and an owner that clearly is t willing to do the research or make the sacrifice to give it the best life possible. This cat is probably a one person quiet home no children cat. Obvious it has past trauma… this quickest most humane fix would be to let the dad take it. If that isnt an option, time to hit the books and find a real solution to make that cat more comfortable. Someone is going to get seriously injured at some point, and if that cat attacks someone outside of the family and they call animal control, that cat will be euthanized.
Totally agree with u dani dee. Poor cat is stressed to the max & always on the look out. Bad situation all around!!!

This girl needs to watch some Jackson Galaxy. It's not funny, the cat needs help...or to live with her dad.
Its really funny tbh, hence the views on UA-cam.. also calm down, its a cat. Worry about strays if u this passionate
HAHAHA! I'm sorry, but you're delusional if you think that the cat hates you for no reason.
1) You're bringing children into her safe space. She is upset because children scream, smack, pinch, bite, pull fur, and lay on small animals. She knows she doesn't want them around her, so stop putting loud and playful children around her. Also, don't put your face in hers, yes she will smack you! Cats are just like humans in the sense that they need personal space. I have a feeling that she's not getting that in this home.
2) You're putting clothing on a cat that doesn't enjoy being dressed up. Cats have a warm suit of fur 24/7. They don't need the jackets, dresses, shirts, etc that you keep stuffing her in. She's meowing and hissing when you stick her in them. She doesn't like it! Don't do it!
3) Your cat knows your dad isn't going to hurt her, but the reason she's putting her hand up and meowing when he's snuggling her is because he has her in the most vulnerable position you can put a cat. Belly up is a no-no! Holding a cat like a baby is not a natural position to have them in. They keep their belly covered, that's why cat's make "loafs". They tuck their hands and feet in a position that they can spring up from and run if they're threatened. You may see your cat flop over and expose their belly, that's your cat telling you they feel safe and comfortable. But you can't force them into that position.
4) Putting your cat on a lead that they don't want to be on is going to make them lash out at ANYTHING because they don't feel that they can run and hide, or even protect themselves if something attacks. So yes, they're going to walk up to people curiously because they want to know the threat potential. If they make sudden movements or reach out, that will make the already scared cat attack them. You've already scared her by forcing her into a sweater with a lead on it, then you're walking her around giving off fearful energy. Your energy being worried about her response will give anxiety to an already stressed out cat.
5) If your cat comes into a room when you're with family and starts getting mad, it's probably because you're all being far too loud for her. Believe it or not, cats have routines. If I would have guests over after 10pm, my cat would come and nip at my friend's feet to have them leave. They want peace, they want quiet, they want just what any human would want. Take a look at your behavior before assuming the cat is crazy for randomly coming to a room you're all having fun and laughing and being loud in. Is it past the time you'd normally go to be during the week? Then she's probably mad you're not following the routine she's given herself.
Please pay attention to your cat's behavior. They're giving you all the clues that they want to be left alone. You're treating this cat like a doll. It's not a doll. They'll tell you exactly who they are, what they like, and what they don't like. Just pay attention.
I'm surprised @thedodo even thought this was a great video to post. That's one hell of a pissed off cat that wants to be left alone by that family.
She got 92 million views and 500k followers just from the video of her cat swiping at the lady. She thinks it’s funny. Not to mention she’s had this cat since it was a kitten, so there’s no doubt in my mind the cat is terrorized off camera
If this was a dog this behaviour wouldn’t fly, there’d be people cancelling her. People like to watch cats be stressed out for some reason. Really gross that the dodo even allowed this video when she’s clearly an irresponsible owner. Makes me wonder of the legitimacy of some of the other videos on the channel.

I had a cat who was male shy and did NOT like kids, I made sure I kept her with me and do slow introductions she got better over time.
Maybe her granddad has a calming personality. We had cats growing up (one after the other, not at the same time) and they were all nice, but my father would take naps on the couch and the cat was his personal sleeping buddy. He'd lay on the couch with the cat stretched out next to him.
When my father walked down the basement steps (which had a musical sound - plastic mats on wooden steps), they'd hear his footsteps and race him to the basement. Then they'd flop on the concrete floor for a backrub. He used to add a little pat by the tail that they liked.

It's true, and she's just quite young. I'm sure she would enjoy the cat relationship more if he was calm and sweeter, but she doesn't know that you can influence cats' behavior. I didn't know that at a young age, either, even though I loved them. I'm 50 and have spent a year helping my deaf rescue kitty to get comfortable. She was never mean, but I definitely had to give her space and make the home comfortable for her. I had always had outdoor/indoor cats. Just indoor is different. I learned a lot from Cat Daddy Jackson Galaxy!!!
Lol! Reminds me of my grandparent’s dog they used to have. She hated children but she enjoyed her owners and older people like teenagers or adults. Sadly she died a long time ago from cancer but I hope they enjoyed having her
This is the exact opposite of my cat he loves everyone lol we got lucky
“She attacks them because of their innocence, she doesnt like happiness”. This is a laughable explanation and i dont think they should have a cat if thats what they think. Cats arent satan, this one is just agitated
Agreed.
She shouldn’t have cats? Most people would have thrown her out to the streets. She takes care of it like a dummy
@@joemomma707 saying her own cat doesnt like happiness is implying the cat is evil and shows they have no intention of solving the issue
Well look at the cat, they walk into the room everyone's in JUST TO HIT AND HISS
@@joemomma707 if she thinks cats even have a concept of inocence s she needs biology 101 before having even a pet rock
“Shes kind of mean so I would be careful”. Then she proceeds to her lead cat by leash towards old lady and her dog to get mauled by her cat.
I thought that was odd as well. At least tell the person that the cat will swat and hiss.
Yup, and even let the kid walk up to the cat tree, and get swatted in the face. And everytime she's like "Oh my God, I'm so sorry"
This “owner” doesn’t have a clue on how to train or raise an animal.
also taking the cat out when it clearly doesn't want anything to do with people and other animals - especially not strangers. Anything for the clicks, huh.
@@marinamiletic3673 Who controls the leash on the cat outside? Obviously not you. Keep the damn cat away from humans.
She senses your stress and that makes her stressful, that is why she attacks. Keep calm and take care of her, she deserves a peaceful life.
Do you think it's really that simple?
@@samr.england613 yes!
This is unusual for a ginger tabby, which general tend to be very loving and sociable.
She’s not angry, she’s terrified.
The owner is using the cat for views on IG and Tik Tok. She has the cat since it was a kitten. They think it’s funny how evil the cat is….
Easier is to just put the cat down. Selectively breed good cats. Garbage the ones that are trouble. Before long, almost all cats are pleasant. Simple.
@@gregg6398 you’re a sicko garbage human+it doesn’t work like that🙄
@@gregg6398 By that same logic, you'd already be a compacted little trash cube with people like Donald J. Trump, Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong-Un if the rule applied to humans.
Breeders suck tho, really bad
She’s not mean, she’s fearful, so she’s striking out before she gets attacked, she just needs to have her space and let her make the decision whether she wants to come out and talk or be petted or whatever. Also the fear and trepidation that you have around her triggers her fears. Grandpa is not afraid of her and so he exudes calmness and affection and that’s why she likes him.
I agree on the fear part, especially for traumatized cats. My cat hates men because her old owner treated her poorly, if you approach with fear her mind goes into a panic, if you just go ahead and pet her or pick her up she doesn't have time to worry and accepts it. Displaying confidence can help put them at ease.
Some cats are just mean too, just like some people are.
I am not so sure. The fact that she can take her cat out on a walk and put that harness on her is astonishing. I have never seen a cat be able to do that. I think this cat is just naturally aggressive and mean. I get no sense at all that she is fearful
@@whywhowhatwhere exactly! Was about to comment this myself!
@@whywhowhatwhere I agree with you.. this kitty is actively approaching other animals and human to hiss at them, so not typically a fear. If I were the owner I probably would ask the dad if he wanted to keep her.
my friend had a cat that was nearly 13 when I first met her. only my friend could interact with her, and that included every other member of the family - she would hiss, spit and bite at anyone else. for two years I used to walk into the place on a weekly basis and give the cat a pat on the way past, and ignore the attempt at a bite or a scratch. then one day she walked into the room, looked balefully at my friend (lap already occupied by small dog) and jumped up in my lap instead. the rest of the family just stared.
“I do think it’s because of their innocence and they’re happy… and she does not like happiness…” omfg 🤣🤣🤣😭
I guess she is stressed, and only find dad safe
