STORYLINE:
French President Emmanuel Macron was welcomed to the Czech Republic's capital by President Petr Pavel on Tuesday.
A small crowd outside the Prague Castle awaited Macron and he received a welcome by the castle guard.
He is expected to meet with the country's Prime Minister Petr Fiala as well.
The leaders will discuss the military situation in Ukraine and nuclear energy.
Earlier this week, Macron appeared isolated on the European stage this week after saying the possibility of Western troops being sent to Ukraine could not be ruled out, a comment that prompted an outcry from other leaders.
