Head Gasket Replacement on a 2006 Subaru Outback SOHC - Ep2

2006 Subaru Outback issues. This car is having overheating issues and it smokes a little white smoke. So, we decided to replace the head gaskets and water pump. Matt had already replaced the thermostat to rule that out. Yes, the issue could have been low water level, but that is a different question.

Could this job be done in a weekend?

You could probably do it, if you had Friday night, and all day Saturday and Sunday. We took longer because we had other things going on and I had to drive 45 minutes to his house. We were also figuring it all out as we went since most of the other head gasket videos we watched were out of the vehicle. Hopefully watching my video will help you be prepared ahead of time.

How long did it take for complete job?

Sorry I didn't see your questions sooner. I didn't track the exact time we spent. We also had to make a trip to Pick-n-Pull to get some parts that were broken: like the thermostat housing. If I remember correctly it took two Saturdays.
