My Wife and I will be doing this 365 day plan in 2025. Looking forward to what God reveals to us throughout this year. Pray it brings us individually closer to Him, but also brings us closer together as well.
My wife and I finished our first ever reading through the Bible together in 2024. We are very excited for us and for you, to begin again today on January first, 2025.
Me too, my second trip with TBR! I’ve read the Bible 6 times in the past, but 2024 was my first time with this plan, and I’ve learned so much that I’ve never knew before when reading on my own! Praise God! He’s definitely where the joy is!
New here! Its my first time reading the bible properly, this year I felt called to grow closer to God and learn this word. I'm so excited to be doing this plan and pray He keeps to faithful and committed 🙏🏾 Love from London
My husband and I are starting our 4th year together in reading through the Bible! What an incredible journey it is to grow closer to God every day, every year! Walking with God in 2025!
Just finished my 1st year through the Bible and am excited to begin a new year. I’ve been a Christian for many years and had never read through the Bible from beginning to end. Why did I wait till I was 65 to do this? I learned so much! Thank you so much for making this so easy to follow.
January 1, 2025. Today my wife and I are starting our second time through the Bible with TBR. Last year was the first time that I had successfully completed going through the Bible completely, let alone in a single year. Talk about life changing! Thanks, Tara-Leigh for this amazing program! Looking forward to another year of learning more about the LORD. God bless you and your ministry.
My God shot today was in 2:8 “The LORD God planted a garden…and there He put the man whom He had formed.” I love the fact the He did this for Adam and Eve. It shows that He is a CARING and PERSONAL PROVIDER. He made them a perfect paradise to live in. I also loved that in 3:8-9 where we see God’s desire to have FELLOWSHIP with us. When Adam and Eve didn’t show up for their daily evening walk, He asked and called out to them, “Where are you?” I picture Him doing the same thing if I miss my time in His Word where He meets with me early each morning. If I were to miss, that He would say, “Where were you this morning Debra?! I missed our time together. ” I love my fellowship with Him each morning. It’s worth (although not always easy) getting up an extra 30 minutes early to make sure I have time to sit, read His Word to learn more about Him. It’s the best part of my day!
I was introduce to the recap by a brother in Christ. I saw how engaging it is and I invited everyone that I'm friends with on the Bible app. I look forward to going to the Bible with you and others in 2025. I also think that I have found a church with a kind and loving pastor. 🙏🏾
My wife and I completed The Bible Recap plan this past year, and are back for a second year so we can learn even more about our God's character. Thank you for such a spiritually and intellectually rewarding way to read God's Word.
This is my second 6th time through the whole Bible but my second time with TBR I’m so excited and ready for 2025. My God shot was the fact that Adam and Eve ate of the tree of good and evil they should surely die, however he forgave them and he let them live God you are merciful. He is where the joy is. 🙌🏽🙌🏽
One last thought on the creation of the earth and the universe: If I go outside on a nice quiet day in the middle of an open field for example, the earth feels completely still. There is no sensation whatsoever of the earth moving. Yet we know from science, not only is the earth moving, it is moving very fast, 67,000 miles per hour in it's orbit around the sun (according to stardate online from Google search), while also moving a second way in it's 24 hour rotation. Yet back to standing in the quiet open field, there is absolutely no sensation of that. No wonder the early scientists believed the earth was flat. For me, this is a most astounding thing. The preciseness of the speed of the earth's orbit, it's precise distance from the sun all in tandem with it's 24 hour rotation, along with the precise size of the earth and the precise gravitational pull. How could anyone ever believe this is all random? God Almighty is so much more amazing than any of us realize.
Starting year 2 with TBR. I am so looking forward to recapping again for 2025 and hoping later today to convince my daughter to take the trip with me this year! I have done a couple of Bible in a year plans previously, but Tara-Leigh has such an infectious passion for the Word, and I really enjoyed her take on things in the first year through. Yes I may have differing opinions from time to time, but she is very knowledgeable and just as importantly, she is extremely humble. And best of all, it is very apparent that she KNOWS that He is where the Joy is!
Today is my first day of Bible Recap had never heard of it until I saw it on 700 club. Praise the LORD just wish I would have heard about this years ago I'm 76
Happy New Year 2025🎉🎉❤as we begin the journey anew this is year #3 May we know Him more 🙌🏾❤️😘 Have a blessed day in His Presence He's where the Joy is 😊
Starting Year 3! I'm excited to journey through the Bible for the 3rd time! I've learned more in the last 2 years than I've learned my entire life! Happy New Year!
Yay!!! I finished my first year going through the Bible with the Bible Recap!!! #Finisher! Glad to make this a part of my daily routine… Welcome Day 1 of 2024!
I finish reading through the whole bible for the first time today, and I am glad I did. Thank you Tara-Leigh for making it easy to follow and understand.
I'm turning 61 this month and even though I've called myself a Christian I've never read through the whole Bible. It's a struggle to pick it up. I get so tired and sleepy and it shames me because I know that I would stay awake for a novel or an activity that I want to do. I want so badly to draw closer to my God, I've wasted so many years. I'm so grateful I found this study guide,
I hope you finished and if not, I hope you will try again. My mom, a Christian her entire life, was your age when she first read it. It has sustained her for the additional 26 years God has given her this far. Never too late to learn how much He loves you!
Wow, amazing revelations in all these comments I too am 65 years old and am so so sorry I never read through the Bible yet .. although it feels like I did. Now finally I am so grateful for Tara-Leigh s RECAP hopefully I will succeed this time . Thank you Lord Jesus for this wonderful edition of Recap and bless ALL who are challenged by this ' Read through the Bible in a year.'
I'm 61 as well! I'll share one of my favorite verses when I felt like I wasted so many years when I became a Christian at ~40. Joel 2:25 " and the Lord will restore the years that the Locusts took away..." God bless you ❤
Your God shot struck my heart. Despite all my sins, HE is PURSUING me! HE is! He wants me, HE WANTS ME, to be with Him and to love Him and to worship Him. He WANTS to be my God, despite my sins. Hallelujah! I was literally brought to tears. Thank you for this wonderful first day. Looking forward to many more.
I'm so excited to start this again! Last year was my first time reading the Bible in a year and I loved it. I had one other person stick with it with me. This year, I invited a bunch of people and we have a group of 19 of us starting today! Praying for another great year or learning and growing closer to God!
I am excited to share that my wife and I will be doing our first Bible in a year plan together with the LORD. Looking forward to the journey He has for us.
Starting my TBR journey this year … I’m a newbie‼️Please pray for me. I feel like I have narcolepsy when it comes to reading the bible so I need Holy Spirit to help and guide me, and banish any attacks from the enemy. I will be alert, focused and ready to hear from God each day. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I'm beginning my 2nd trip with TBR. I can empathize! Before I read, I ask God to guard my thoughts--when I start thinking of my "to-do" list, or worries start creeping in, I immediately stop, and ask Him to cover my mind. Then I get back on track--it's getting easier, and I'm relying on Him to be in charge instead of myself.
One idea is to download the Bible on audible where they have some great actors read the scripture to you with great voices and sometimes sound effects.
Funnily enough I listen to the Street Lights audio bible which is really dynamic and accessible. Think the founders are street pastors ☺️@@angelabauer-wiedner6220
Removal of immortality after the fall was merciful as well. Imagine living in a fallen state for all eternity. God is so good to us. For the believer our literal flesh dies BUT He has made a way for us to rise again through Jesus and live with Him forever!!!! Praise be to God!!!
Genesis 1-3 I am so glad to be starting year 3 and can’t wait to see how He reveals Himself more and more! One of our recent household discussions is the debate of the young or old earth. Just like TLC said, I know people who I respect in both camps. I lean toward the new earth and literal six days because I believe the Bible is pretty clear about that and specific. However, not everyone in my home agrees with me. The statement in her recap that I love is, regardless of who’s right or wrong, God created it all and it wasn’t an accident. I love noticing right away how the trinity is present in creation. Each person of the trinity, each playing its unique role, each working together in harmony and unity. I also love how God provided for Adam and Eve even after they sinned. He gave them clothing and a place to dwell. He was merciful. Even though His boundaries were established clearly, He knew man would fail and was prepared. He leaned into their mistake and cared for them. What evidence of a loving creator and father. I see His gentleness and compassion. I’m so excited for year 3! I am praying for this community and many blessings! Let Him speak to you as you turn the pages of His word! Happy New Year!
My "God shot," as it were, was fourfold- You see His meticulous planning in how everything is created, His love when, instead of killing Adam and Eve on the spot, he gives them garments of animal skin and then sets in motion the events that will allow Him to rescue His children, His compassion when He creates Eve as Adam's wife so that he's not alone, and lastly, His justice. This is on my third year so far, and I pick up more and more of these each year..
I'm starting the Bible Recap again from the beginning as it ia so good and interesting. I'm praying that 2024 will be the year of breakthrough, knowledge and better understanding of God
I'm starting today. I'm eager to have a deeper connection with God and allow Him to show up in my day to day commitment to know Him in a more intimate way.
I am so excited to go through this study! One point of clarification - an open handed issue potentially - but Tara Leigh states in this episode that Adam and Eve actually didn’t die like God said they would when they ate the fruit of the tree but it was a spiritual death not a physical one so what God said would happen did actually happen. This is explained in Ephesians 2:1-10. I’m still super excited for the reading plan and daily insights, but this just illustrates how important it is to continue to uncover layer after layer of understanding Scripture throughout our walk with Jesus.
I just finished my first time reading the Bible, it was amazing & it changed my life & feel so much closer to Our Lord, this will be my 2nd time & am so excited to find things I didn't see the first time, and Tare Leigh is awesome in explaining everything you read, thank you Tara, God Bless & may everyone have a Happy, Healthy & blessed New Year!!❤
I am praying and very hopeful that this year I will complete the Chronological Bible in One Year! You have made it so easy for me to understand what I'm reading!
Just finished day 1 today. I am learning how merciful the father is. He gave Adam and eve the opportunity to repent and confess their sins. Even when they played the blame game instead of confess their part in sin he showed mercy by making them coats of skin to cover their nakedness and their shame before banishing them from the garden
On my third time through with you TLC! Thank you for what you do for us. Reading through the Bible has meant so much to me. I’m almost 70 and have been a Christian for 65 years! But, reading through the Bible has shed a whole new light on EVERYTHING. Especially the season we just finished. The birth of our savior. The Promised One. So much fulfillment of promises and prophesies! He’s where the joy is! Lez do this!
Last year, 2024, was my first year through the Bible using The Bible Recap, but nor my first year reading the Bible cover to cover. I enjoyed The Bible Recap so much I decided to do it again. This year I am taking notes as I go. I'm 68 so it is never too late to start!
Aloha BR family! I am back for my 2nd journey with TL and my BR family. I already learned something new today that I did not remember from last time was difference between Lord, Master and LORD, Yahwaw. I didn't forget that our God is merciful and his love is forever. He is where the JOY is!!!💯
Like many of these commenters are many failed attempts to read through the Bible, I'm so excited to have found this plan. I'm 69 years old and so ashamed I've never taken the time to read all the way through God word. I'm on day 82 and still loving every reading. Thank you so much Tara for your enthusiasm. It makes it so much easier to keep on track. Hugs
I just found out about you today from watching Relatable and I am so excited to finally be able to read God's word and get understanding with it. I've always been so overwhelmed when I try to read the bible start to finish. Thank you for doing this!
Only one Gospel: The Gospel of Reconciliation. Jesus Christ came into THEIR kingdom to reconcile fallen angels unto Himself. We are the fallen angels (ELOHIM) kept in DNA chains of darkness. If you do not confess being a fallen angel in Lucifer's kingdom, then you are an unbeliever. Unbeliever = those that claim to be made in the image of ELOHIM(gods). REPENT FALLEN ANGELS.
I just finished the New Testament with The Bible Recap and I am excited to do the entire Bible this year! I have a group of about 17 women doing it with me. Many are first-time Bible Readers. I am praying for a great year for all of us.
The 2 years that I’ve done the Bible recap I have had missed days throughout the year. So never fully completed. But I’m back for 2025 and am determined to be consistent with this plan and even dig deeper into God’s Word! 🙌🏼
Two main things: 1.) sobbing reading the actual creation. Just really in awe. He is where I get my attention to detail, love of beauty and design from (as a plastic surgery resident). I also thought it was so on brand how he ONLY said creation was very good when it was fully completed. Just “good” on the other days because perfection hadnt yet been reached. 2.) i thought it was so precious that he brought all the animals for Adam to name. Can you imagine?? “This one is gonna be called a SHARK dad!!!” I know he sat there with such a proud smile 🥹 Cant wait to keep learning about Abba
Yesterday I finished the whole Bible for the first time (age 53). I loved it! Thank you TLC for being a part of that! I used the CSB version. Today I’m starting over using the Message version. The Bible has always seemed so intimidating to me and now I can’t get enough! God is so good!
My second trip through the Bible with the help of Tera Leigh 🎉🎉🥳 Thanks for making the Frist trip easy I'm looking forward to know GOD better and act better like Christ 🙏❤️
Just finished my first year through the entire Bible (366 days but still counting the victory) and starting again here at day 1. Thank you to The Bible Recap and TLC for the encouragement and wonderful Bible study! Here’s to trip #2 through God’s Word!
God is so good! Last week I was reflecting on Mary's song when she responds to Elizabeth's greeting. In Luke 1:50 she says, "and His mercy is for those who fear Him." This stuck out to me when Adam and Eve hid from Him. He has mercy on those who fear Him. Praise the LORD! What a blessing His Word is!
Starting my second year and I can’t wait to see how God will reveal Himself. So excited be in His word and in relationship with the One who knows me best.
Blessings from Taiwan 🇹🇼 🥳 I learned 2 new things today 1. The light in Genesis Chapter 1 is different than the light I was thinking 😉 2. The definition of LORD and Lord are different than what I thought 😜 God bless you and your ministry, TLC. 😇🎁
My Wife and I will be doing this 365 day plan in 2025. Looking forward to what God reveals to us throughout this year. Pray it brings us individually closer to Him, but also brings us closer together as well.

I’m almost 63, & I’ve never read the Bible all the way through. Today was very special , having started finally !!
Moses was 80 when God called him to lead his people out of Egypt! It's never too late while we still breathe.
Same! I'm 46.
Happy to be here another year and giving God priority in my life!!
I'm in the same boat as you are Veronica. Going to redo this year. I am 74 and first time reading through the Bible last year. God bless.
I know the feeling. A lot probably do! Congratulations

My wife and I completed The Bible Recap plan this past year, and are back for a second year so we can learn even more about our God's character. Thank you for such a spiritually and intellectually rewarding way to read God's Word.
First time Christian going to read the bible ❤ can’t wait for what god will reveal to me
Don't be deceived listen to what Jesus taught re Genesid. Read our comment
Oh you’re going to fall in love with Jesus!!
This is my second 6th time through the whole Bible but my second time with TBR I’m so excited and ready for 2025. I just finished my first year as well (#Finisher) and am starting again in 2024. I was hoping there would be new videos, but I guess not.

Third year through and so excited to go deeper this year. Happy New Year and God is so GOOD!
Right out of the bat, my first God-shot is in 3:21. He still made clothes for them, after having failed! He is a merciful caring protector.
This is my 4th trip through, and I also noticed this bit for the first time this time around. He is so forgiving and kind! ❤️🙏🏽
He lives His kids!

I'm starting the Bible Recap again from the beginning as it ia so good and interesting. I'm praying that 2024 will be the year of breakthrough, knowledge and better understanding of God
Keep persevering! You got this sister!
Adding The Bible Recap to my current plans, a beautiful friend invited me! Excited to begin! 🥰🙏🏻
Starting my 5th time reading through the Bible. 3yr with TLC
New here!! This is my first time reading the Bible and day one is complete !!! So excited to feel closer to my Lord and meet all of you here! ❤️❤️❤️
I'm starting today. I'm eager to have a deeper connection with God and allow Him to show up in my day to day commitment to know Him in a more intimate way.
God spoke creation into existence. "And it was so" (1:7,9,11,15, 24). What He speaks comes to pass.
Starting with our church ⛪️ in 2025 ❤
Starting my second trip through the Bible with TBR. So excited to see new wonderful things about God. Thank you for all you do.
Happy 2025!!! This is round five for me, and it has greatly blessed my life! Love TLC’s recaps!💗
Looking forward to going through another year with others who are seeking God. 6:30 am
Starting my 2nd trip through The Bible Recap 🎉 super excited!! 🥰
I’m a finisher for the first time!!! Can’t wait to do this all over again to see God clearer than before😁
Back with you again for 2024. Learning and growing in faith.
I just finished my first time reading the Bible, it was amazing & it changed my life & feel so much closer to Our Lord, this will be my 2nd time & am so excited to find things I didn't see the first time, and Tare Leigh is awesome in explaining everything you read, thank you Tara, God Bless & may everyone have a Happy, Healthy & blessed New Year!!❤
Me toooooooo! Let's go! ❤️
Day 1! Everyone else doing this too I wish you well and a steady perseverance to stick with it and overcome any hindrance. I also pray this for me.
I am praying and very hopeful that this year I will complete the Chronological Bible in One Year! You have made it so easy for me to understand what I'm reading!
Starting my 3rd year reading with TLC, look forward to each day readings…
Just finished day 1 today. I am learning how merciful the father is. He gave Adam and eve the opportunity to repent and confess their sins. Even when they played the blame game instead of confess their part in sin he showed mercy by making them coats of skin to cover their nakedness and their shame before banishing them from the garden
I love being able to see you when you talk…
Cindy Shirley from Ada? This is Linda Thomas Wilson from Ada.
This is my 2nd year doing the Bible Recap with Tara Leigh.
Aloha BR family! I am back for my 2nd journey with TL and my BR family. I already learned something new today that I did not remember from last time was difference between Lord, Master and LORD, Yahwaw. I didn't forget that our God is merciful and his love is forever. He is where the JOY is!!!💯
We see GOD'S plan come to life in Genesis
Like many of these commenters are many failed attempts to read through the Bible, I'm so excited to have found this plan. I'm 69 years old and so ashamed I've never taken the time to read all the way through God word. I'm on day 82 and still loving every reading. Thank you so much Tara for your enthusiasm. It makes it so much easier to keep on track. Hugs
I just found out about you today from watching Relatable and I am so excited to finally be able to read God's word and get understanding with it. I've always been so overwhelmed when I try to read the bible start to finish. Thank you for doing this!
Only one Gospel:
The Gospel of Reconciliation.
Jesus Christ came into THEIR kingdom
to reconcile fallen angels unto Himself.
“This one is gonna be called a SHARK dad!!!” I know he sat there with such a proud smile 🥹
Cant wait to keep learning about Abba
Happy 2025! I've always heard such great things about The Bible Recap. My husband & I started today.
Yesterday I finished the whole Bible for the first time (age 53). I loved it! Thank you TLC for being a part of that! I used the CSB version. Today I’m starting over using the Message version. The Bible has always seemed so intimidating to me and now I can’t get enough! God is so good!
I am so excited for this study!!! Day 1 was a great start. God loves is so much that he had a perfect plan to provide everything we could ever need.
Started my second year of doing this with you all. Blessed to be here. Good afternoon and God bless . 2025 Growing closer to God.
This is the first time I have actually tried to read my bible and this program is helping me to much.
Day 1! So excited to dig into this plan! 2023 is going to be a great year. In Jesus' name!
I'm excited to start with this group of Christians. ❤️
HE doesn’t give up on you!! HE is where the joy is!! 😍❤️
This will be my first time reading an the way thru the Bible. I will be doing this with a friend.
My second trip through the Bible with the help of Tera Leigh 🎉🎉🥳
Thanks for making the Frist trip easy I'm looking forward to know GOD better and act better like Christ 🙏❤️
My sister and I are reading the Bible for our second time with via the Recap.
Thank you TLC.
God bless all you at the Recap.
Starting my second year and I can’t wait to see how God will reveal Himself. So excited be in His word and in relationship with the One who knows me best.
Here we go again! Finished it once, doing it again!❤
Starting my 3rd time through the Bible with TLC and TBR. Each year I use a different translation...NIV, then NLT, and now CSB.
I'm here again, second year! Thanks God and TLC. ❤
My God Shot: God's covering will always be better than anything we can make or do.
Day 1, year 2 with TLC & TBR. Looking forward to new insights and thinking/discussion points. Be blessed in 2024.

I learned 2 new things today
1. The light in Genesis Chapter 1 is different than the light I was thinking 😉
2. The definition of LORD and Lord are different than what I thought 😜
God bless you and your ministry, TLC. 😇🎁
