Just found this channel. Excited to go with you on your adventure. This summer I plan to go away and hide in the woods where I live for a couple of days when I’m not working. I’m in Somerset, England. Got the stuff just need to get the transport to and from the area!! Good luck on your adventure xx
You’d be glad I subscribed to your UA-cam Channel and liked and commented on it. I’m impressed with your UA-cam channel! The content you’re creating is top-notch and incredibly informative, and the way you present your topics is really helpful for your audience. May I know what the next video will be about?
@@mrbodrulbd I have many more days on the AT. Will also be sharing my experience on the Camino de Santiago. After that, I plan to hike the Tour du Mont Blanc.
1039! wow, so much for the thought that 2025 was going to be a low hiker year because of the storm damage. Looks like a good start, may the sun always be shining and the storms are on the ridge across the way. Have a good hike.
Subscribed. I love watching older hikers because I am one. :) Am curious to see the hurricane damage and how the trail is doing through that area. I live in the CA Sierra where bear canisters are pretty much required now everywhere, so I recently sprang or one of the carbon fiber ones (lighter weight than the bear vault) and in reality, it’s just easier. I’m no good at hanging my food.
Just subscribed and liked. Seems like you may be one of the half dozen or so I follow in 2025. One comment tho . . . your voice is not as clear as most other channels. I'm not sure what you can do to improve it, perhaps other UA-camrs could make suggestions. It might be your equipment, or simply repositioning the mic. You'll get a lot more subscribers and likes if we can understand you better. Best of luck . . .
Congrats on beginning your AT hike! I was wondering how you're videoing while hiking, because I don't see a camera on a long stick and also there are some shots from behind.

Wow, such an early start! Looking forward to following your adventure again and best wishes for the trek.
@@danconlin3456 I started in mid March 2024. I be hiking in the Alps this year.
That Bear cannister area starts 1 March

@@knowingdog OK that explains is.
What was your start date? You mentioned the middle of the bubble? Nice job on videoing your start. Looking forward to more!

I would lose the music.

Is this 2024?
@@Grandma-56 yes
This year I plan to hike the Tour du Mont Blanc.
Was this back in January?
Won't it be freezing there? Pack warm and carry a satphone or an emergency locator.
This can’t be 2025. The AT number wouldn’t be that high and there’s no bubble at this time. So this is very deceiving. It’s not from 2025
@@buddino1 No deception intended. If you look at the date on my tag, it says 2024.

Ths insta 360 camera edits out the stick and camera. You can see the shadow of it whsn he holds it behind him
@@paulst4523 - Huh! Have never seen that before.
If I may ask your age I 72 and strongly feeling the call to hike the AT.. Any advice? ❤😊 Looking forward to following your channel. ❤😊
It’s an Insta 360.
I wanted to follow you but i cant stand when people put music over themselves talking. Its about the hike, not the loud annoying music. ✌️ Pepe.
Are you using a drone.
I’m using an Insta 360
Is this Jan 2025? Dang! You’re in for a whole lot of cold.

Music is not a plus.
@@tomschuler4181 thanks for the feedback.
Yeah this is not 20/25 look at what they're wearing it's freezing cold out there this is not 2025 I'm not sure when this is
@michelleange-i7v yes, note the yellow tag. I started in March 2024.
He also mentioned being in the "middle of the bubble" (which early January is definitely not).
