*How you be doin' it, mon?* I hope you can relax hearing a rogue gameplay sounds. I have used only once _kidney shot,_ then decided it is a bad idea. I think that was the sound which terrified me the most while I was fighting a rogue. I haven't played this class in Vanilla (being honest now: because I thought it matches a certain real life personality) but it is extremely fun and easy. I miss a lot the old Thousand Needles and I will probably do another movie of this type here at some point (in Shimmering Flats). I delayed the release of this gameplay, I wanted to do it with Rainbreath, the Horde shaman, but I gave it another thought and decided that a troll rogue questing here is not a bad choice. I hope you will agree with me. I tried a lot of servers to play with a rogue, 90% of them failed as the stealth detection for NPCs / players is broken. Yet another motive to look forward for the official servers. Friends, please support the channel. I need you to help me out to spread the word: subscribe, like, comment and like more videos. Loved the darkness of that zone :) So comfy to play vanilla at night, its like you start to play in the afternoon and all of a sudden its dark and 4:00am haha!
It's good to have parents to take care of you. This was happening to me while I was in school. Now I am grown up and I have to be a _little_ more responsible. :) Ba Ki, nice to meet you. I hope I _hear_ more from you soon :) Kind regards, Meisio
Ho boy, I remember the first time I went to Thousand Needles and I spent so much time trying to find the way up to the town with all the quests in it. And even after I found it, I kept having a hard time finding the right spot that had the lifts after that. Ah, memories..... As usual, fantastic job with the video! I honestly have very little feedback because I just like to see the game played in a way that a person would normally play it, which you already do.
Prior recording the video I made a lot of rehearsals on how to I get from a point to another, because I forgot the upper part of Thousand Needles. It was too long since I have quested here :-( Salutations, Meisio
Hello! Wow! I have never seen how this zone looked when it wasn't under water.. It looked really cool. I wish i could have been there before cataclysm (sadly i started playing in mop). Thank you for the video! ^-^
Oh, man! Thank you for the video! 💜 I loved a thousand needles before cata 😞 now, it's all flooded and I usually skip it when I play. I can't wait for Classic WoW!
The destruction in Thousand Needles is compared with the destruction of Darkshore isn't it? I guess Blizzard wanted to destroy equally both Alliance and Horde territories. It felt like Barrens wasn't completely destroyed and they brought _justice_ by flooding the entire land of Thousand Needles. :) Salutations nebula19star, always happy to read messages from you :) Meisio
Hm. I knew thousand needles didn't always have water, but I had no idea those rocky pillars still existed. So it was really just a desert or dried ravine? I don't know too much about the areas lore, but I do remember swimming across a flooded home and dead npcs and that really made me wonder how vanilla players felt after cata.
It looked a bit like The Barrens, Desolace or Badlands, but with huge obstacles in the way. How I felt after the Cataclysm? The same way I felt after the total destruction of Darkshore in Cataclysm. Didn't wanted to go there anymore, although it was one of my favorite zones in the past. Salutations, Meisio
I haven't seen the code but I think it's because the poison was actually "cast" by the rogue character on the enemy whenever it procs. So in a way it was an auto-casted spell.

The distances you had to walk in this zone were ridiculous, but it was still one of my favorites. Imagine having no mount in this zone.
Trolls were always that race that I loved to have in the game, but I would never have a troll character myself. Cool video as always!
I used to fly on the fp or make the long ride to Freewind Post to log out every night, just so I could log back into the ambience of the place.

Thank you again for watching Ymir! I am delighted you are viewing all my videos :)
You can see all the zones in their original glory in Classic World of Warcraft. That's what I do :D

Vanilla was such a masterpiece, thanks god blizzard is opening official vanilla servers in the next years.
Yes, thank you! :)
And also... "not thank you" for destroying Thousand Needles in Cataclysm! :)
@@Meisio It's my favorite zone from vanilla - so many great memories there!
thank you so much for this
My pleasure, happy you like it :)

WOW thousand needles at night - amazing.
Thank you. One of my favorite night ambience as well.
Which server?
None that is worth mentioning. The good private ones are Light's Hope and Elysium.
Why did Blizzard decide to include animations when poison is applied to targets, looks lame on any race
I haven't seen the code but I think it's because the poison was actually "cast" by the rogue character on the enemy whenever it procs. So in a way it was an auto-casted spell.
