the shot of your bicycle took me back 50 years I'd been about 12 years old when I'd finish throwing my paper route and then pedal on down to the pond for some fishing. Thanks for the video and I'm looking forward to a series on these two fish is to grow up in the tank.
That’s really cool I that my video brings back memories to you 👌🏻 I’m 15 so I’ll be driving by next year so hopefully I’ll be hitting better and more variety of different waters. Thanks for watching bro. Stay tuned for next week where I’m doing an update video!
Since I had a Bluegill as a pet I would like to ad that these fish make great aquarium fish. They become quite tame and will eat out of your hand. You can ad a Crawdad to your tank but if your Bluegill is hungry they will eat the Crawdad. If you do decide to have a Bluegill as a pet don't ever re-release them back into the wild. If they are sick you could be responsible for wiping out the entire local Bluegill population and nobody wants that.
@@Bluegillandbass one minor request. get a tripod for the phone so you're moving everywhere while trying to film. it was hard viewing the tank while you explained the scenario just be easier for viewers to observe.
Yeah having a native species in a fish tank is the most fun fish you can have in a tank in my opinion they may not look the prettiest but they are really aggressive
Love your videos keep up the good work keep doing what you are doing and never let anyone tell u that u can’t do anything u can do anything that you put your mind to
Wow i love you're new fish tank 👌 i use to have a 6ft tank with tiger barbs, tin foils, angel fish, deformed goldfish, suctions and a crab 🙌 love watching you're videos as always ☺ nice bike btw 👌 call the bluegill 'starlight' and the green sunfish 'ned'👍starlite & ned :)
Those would be cool names but i think I’m going to stick with bob the bluegill and Gary the green sunfish thanks for watching maybe I’ll pick your name for the next fish I put in the tank 👍
I’m not going to make an entire video on it put I’m planing on keeping one more fish for my tank and I’ll show how I transport them it will probably be a couple weeks since I have a lot of videos backlogged so I will eventually make sure to show that but you just gotta stay turned
When fishing for bluegill and crappie- if using live bait do you try to set the hook after a first bite? or wait until the second? I've been waiting for the 2nd and wonder if i'm missing fish. I figured if it was live bait, that jig/wax worm could be in it's mouth while i'm waiting on the 2nd bite? Idk..and do you just raise the pole to set the hook? Thanks in advance.
It usually depends for me if I’m reeling it in and a fish bites when I’m reeling it in then I set the hook but if I’m letting it sit with like a bobber I let them eat it for a couple seconds
That only comes with experience. Nobody can tell you whether the bait is swallowed, you have to feel it. And you have to do sharp movements with the pole to set the hook.
How about just B&G for their names also aren't you worried about introducing different bacterias and potentially parasites to your tank from Gathering them from not a sterile environment it could cause chaos to your tank that might not be recoverable I've done this myself and wiped out a whole tank 55 gallon with Oscars Jack Dempsey's you are taking a risk adding those fish to a clean tank because those fish are not clean they're not store-bought sterile I hope everything works out for you man love fish
Don’t keep tropical fish and native North American fish in the same tank. They need completely different conditions to thrive. Did you do any research..?
Bluegill = Beto 🤣😂. but in reality they should be call veto because every time i try to catch a different fish they are the only ones biting and stealing my bait...

That's cool. Can't wait to see them get bigger.
Minute on the Mountain Ik I made sure to only keep small ones so that they can grow huge
I had a large bluegill for many years. Mine liked freeze dried shrimp and any moths I could catch and throw in the tank.
Yeah having a native species in a fish tank is the most fun fish you can have in a tank in my opinion they may not look the prettiest but they are really aggressive
I have a 55 gallon and I’m thinking about doing that. Cool tank

You don't have to dislike those thumbs down...I dislike them enough for everyone. YOU ARE SUPER COOL FOR SURE! Thanks for the video.
Thanks man 💯👍
Great video and awesome tanks!
Just a question so you can like just put the fish in the tank right away? You don’t have tk put them in a bag or anything then dump them?
I put it in a bucket half full of water and filled the rest up with fish tank water so the temperature aclamates
Great vid
Great video man worms are the way to go when you are getting yourself some pet bluegill
For sure I appreciate you stopping by 👌🏻👍
Please make a video on how you transport your bucket and rods on your bike. I do the same thing and I cant find a good way to transport them
I’m not going to make an entire video on it put I’m planing on keeping one more fish for my tank and I’ll show how I transport them it will probably be a couple weeks since I have a lot of videos backlogged so I will eventually make sure to show that but you just gotta stay turned
hi pal cool video :)=):)

If you put one by itself yes but make sure to clean the tank more than normal
Those night crawlers are nice and PLUMP
Yes they are 😂 I knew someone was going to comment this
