  • Bill made his own Fallout 4 Mister Handy scale model! The figurine was modeled in Fusion 360, printed and then molded and cast. Several light layers of paint were applied to get that Fallout metal look.

    Fun fact: the tiny model robots you can find throughout Fallout4 actually use the same meshes and textures as the full-scale robots in Fallout3 and Fallout: New Vegas.

    This is absolutely amazing. I love how you used your laser cutter to etch the letters in. I'm going to have to try that when I have smaller letters that I know won't 3d print well.

    Hey Bill ..I'm making my own Mr handy as we speak ! Mine is about the same size. The color finish you used was really cool..so I'm gonna try and replicate that. Thnx for this awesome video, this really helped me out which colors and techniques too use

    Bill I loved how you made this, maybe for the weathering take a look into "Vallejo" it's a brand of paint for miniature stuff and I use it a lot especially their grime and weathering stuff, it's really good to use for both big and small projects

    holy cow ! great job! I have been using fusion for a while, but I never attempted something this complex! and impress, just to bad you wont give us thee stl's so we can enjoy our own build of it. but we do understand the work involved. great video nonetheless.

    Tbh I prefer Mr. Handy as a companion over Dogmeat... his little quips and the regular "how are you?" make traversing the wasteland much more enjoyable... plus he's really freaking op

    Great build, it's been fun to watch this come together!
    Why did you decide to use XTC only on the lends? Was it just a personal choice or do have you run into issues with XTC on the larger parts? About to cast a 3D printed knife and would have used XTC but your filler method looks fantastic!

    I thought 325 always cured kind of milky. Did yours come out so clear because it was pressure cast?

    I am trying to make prosthetic arms for a character Roger Janitor from Little nightmares and would like them to have sensory and lots of movement. The arms would be about twice the body height but thin and light. The arms would also extend and retract.
