This was one of the most entertaining tournaments I've seen in a while. Makes sense though, Clash of Ninja is so good and so intense. Everyone just seemed to be having a great time.

@@tmac1499 this game has a way more complex fighting system and has way more mechanics that any of the storm games or any other naruto game series, but yeah storm certainly looks better graphically and also has a better story mode so there’s that
@@simonw3722 nah the ultimate ninja series before storm was the best to me, there was one that looked similar to this one on the Wii I loved also it was after the time skip and had these anbu characters on it that were fun one of the best fighting games to play with 4 people

Bro i just realized. This game's fighting mechanics might be brought from bloody roar primal fury? I mean i peeped the aquarium stage they fought on then watched some gameplay on brpf .. idk
The series is based on the Bloody Roar engine, so it's not too far off. The stage is from Extreme, the JP version of Primal Fury, with a few Naruto touches.
Players started messing with it and made it more balanced. You can see videos of it on youtube. Im hoping the Saint Seiya game gets the same treatment thats a gem too.

I've never heard of this game until I stumbled on this video, but how the hell is Kankurou balanced? Seems busted that you never get a true advantage state vs him unless the puppet is ALSO in your combo. But Ice Kid was wisely kept the puppet on the other side of the map for 90% of the game.
I have to ask why is this considered the best Clash of the Ninja? I have it and am playing it but Naruto Shippuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen! Special has more characters and feels just as good to play, though Itachi losing his j.A was annoying.
Comparing the Clash of Ninja series to every popular fighting game: Simply playing the game is not as technically demanding as Tekken. Combos are more fun to execute than the combos in Dragonball FighterZ. Character movement doesn't feel as clunky as Street Fighter or Marvel vs. Capcom. Healthbars deplete at a moderate pace and don't disappear in the blink of an eye like Samurai Shodown. Attacks and special moves don't burn your retinas out like BlazBlue or Guilty Gear. Spamming is not as easy as ANY Netherealm game. Connecting an attack feels more aggressive and satisfying than Soulcalibur. Doesn't rely solely on aesthetic and music to compensate for a generic story and characters like Killer Instinct. And lastly, the community is more focused on keeping this series alive rather than being cringe like Super Smash brothers.
Clash of Ninja overall was a great series that needs a remaster. Nice to see it still being played
