I hope they make the Magician's nephew first. Believe or not that book has so much potential content, it is written in such a conversational manner, it stands out. Exploring how Narnia came to be as the movies never showed us. Aslan; Jadis and her past, her supernatural being and powers. Also, exploring the avarice of human greed, ill-manner intentions from Uncle Andrew starting off with Digory and polly as the main protagonist. Polly is such a sweetheart in the books and very smart las, hope they get her right.
There is a lot of mystery in the Magician's nephew and the fantasy setting is what gives the narrative escapism for the viewer. Is a really good book.
I loved the magicians Nephew. It was one of my favourites of the series. It gives us something that the audience hasn't seen before and allows some spectacular visuals with the creation. I'd be very happy if I found out this was the case. Thank you for your recap of the book. It made me want to read it again 🍿
I hope too they start with the Magician's Nephew. It was written after the Lion... but is of course intended to be a prequel. But as well as the 2005 movie series coming to a halt before this or Silver Chair, the BBC series a couple of decades earlier also didn't get as far as Nephew. I personally dislike the Last Battle, it's going to be interesting to see what happens.
It will be great to see the Magicians Nephew done well. We will see what Gerwig comes out with 🤞🏻
I love this for Greta! A brilliant director and will be fun to see what she does with this.
She is definitely brilliant. Hopefully she can turn Narnia into something of epic scale that will last longer than 3 movies
