Two alleles from each parent. And if you are talking about all four defective alleles, then let me make it clear that a foetus with all four defective alleles cannot survive

As much I know you need not worry, It could be normal or a mild thalassemia. You need to get your partner tested also.

I am not an expert on this but as much I know .You should get a test CVS done before 10 weeks of pregnancy. Have faith in God usually there is just 25% chances of getting a thalassemia. Think positively as the child has 25% chances of being absolutely normal and 50% chances of being a minor.
