www.RedSkeltonC... A man of wit and wisdom, Red Skelton told jokes about animals rather than people. Gertrude and Heathcliff were a couple of seagulls. They were always pulling each others feathers one way or another. This joke was told on national TV by Red Skelton in the late 50's possible early 1960 according to the dvd that I have of Red Skelton.
Red Skelton was known as one of America's favorite clowns. Brian Hoffman is very honored to be able to pay tribute to him in Pigeon Forge TN. Red Skelton Tribute Show now performing in the Rocky Top Theater 167 East Wears Valley Road Suite 17 Pigeon Forge TN

Love this, it is like Red was here in person. This man, Brian Hoffman has more talent in his little finger that most of you have in your entire being.
This is a man who loves and is clean comedy.
These are family performances that the entire family can enjoy and love. Memories are made from special people like this. Create
your own memories with Brian. You will never regret it. A special man created for a very special purpose to let us love laughter and God.

Reminiscent of a more innocent time in America...Thanks!
very funny;)
You are very welcome
It's Red!
I'm a huge fan too. Thank you for the compliment.
I found this joke that Red did live on air in 1959.
A "swallow" is a species of bird. What did you think it means?;)
Pretty funny.
Thank you, Thank you, and did I say Thank You?!
I'm a huge Red Skelton fan and I appreciate your impersonation skills of him. However, remember Red was a man of good taste in his humor. I never heard him use the "going out for a swallow" punchline. If he did, I'm sure it was a risky move for his time. You did capture him quite well though. Good job!
The beach is lousy with them.
I heard you were going out for a swallow...LOL!!!! Great job. My need more comedians like Red Skelton, Bob Hope, Jack Benny, George Burns...not these alleged comics who use profanity in the name of being "edgy."
Guess an explanation is in order. Back in the last century... 'Necking' was a term used for the preliminaries to today's 'Hooking up'. In typical Red Skelton manner, he used the child's term for 'She' as 'Her'. 'Dirty' as in Patrick Swayze's movie 'Dirty Dancing', furthered the suggestion. The little joke had great subtle meaning during the 'innocent' century. We all thought 'subtle' beat 'flagrant' by a long shot. Even most porn was more innocent back then.
Today it's mainstream, 'DaFlikkers'
5/5
You're welcome and I will do my best.
HEHEHE!! GREAT!
Remember Red Skelton's Mommy telling him to stay away from the little girl next door and not to play with her because "Her neck's Dirty". He replied while looking very surprised,... "Her do?" 'DaFlikkers'
What's the music at the beginning? :)
I know a Swallow is a type of bird, but the inuendo of a cheating bird going for a Swallow states a little than innocent humor. Even the crowd knew that was dirty for Red Skelton. Where can I find audion clip? I'm curious if it was actually aired over the radio.
Explosive, 5er.
a jw how did u get in vegas ? like doing shows
Great doppelganger of one of my favorite comedians. Can you (or will you) do "Go Tell Aunt Rhody" from the movie "Lovely To Look At"? Hilarious falling- off- the- piano parody. Love to have you visit my channel for a rating/comment on my male version of Connie Francis' "Where The Boys Are"...titled "Where The Beers Are". Typifies what may happen with a coerced ad hoc performance. God Bless and Good Night, Brian! Cordially, John
is this u?
good I got to the part about going out for a swallow and jumped on the dislike button to soon. sorry about that.
