Keeping Fields and drafting Marvin Harrison JR to go along with Keenan Allen and DJ Moore would be crazy. Plus they now have Swift at RB. Kmet is a solid TE. That offense could be pretty good.

Williams is the best overall player in this draft, because he is a QB. If we are just talking about the best, and any position, he is approximately the 5th-7th best player in this draft? It is somewhere in that neighborhood.
Why can't we keep Justin and draft a QB and put the rookie on the bench for a year and then decide in 2025 if we keep Justin. It always seems to work for GB and KC why not the Bears. This covers Poles butt from getting fire, by having insurance if he doesn't have a good year.
Dan saying that Poles job is on the line if he passes on a qb is totally delusional. The city loves Poles AND they want to keep fields. If fields goes crazy then we are up huge but if he doesnt work out then theres no more excuses for him. If we trade down we can draft a qb later or just trade for a guy and figure it out. Id rather build a killer team right now around fields and try to find a qb later that has an easier transition because the team is stacked, similar to 49ers, if thats the route we have to take. I know im just a normal guy but I feel like it makes the most sense to trade down or just take MHJ and give fields a prove it year.

It's gonna be Fields. We don't have to pay him a crazy amount this year. and We can see what he is with all this help around him. Keep trading down the draft, get capital for years and years.
This move is tricky because the bears fans wanted Marvin Harrison Jr so they could load the offense up and keep Fields but now they don't need Marvin Jr anymore, So the question is did they do this trade for Caleb or Justin..
This is a big money move to start winning now with the generational QB prospect that everyone else wants. Fields is a great guy and makes some exciting plays here & there, but this is a business decision. Bears didn’t make this move with Keenan Allen just to turn around and pay Fields $25 million per year with the 5th year option next year. The Bears made this move because their 4 year championship window is opened as soon as Caleb Williams comes to Chicago and is making a rookie wage scale.
Bears also only currently have 4 more draft picks left, so I doubt Poles is going into the draft with just 4 picks. The best way to recoup picks is by trading the #1 pick for 4-5 more picks.
Let's be realistic. There is no way Ridder, Howell, and Pickett are better than Fields and they were traded for picks. There is no way Fields has no trade value. The Bears are just not 100% sold on Caleb or any other QB yet.
Dan talking 💩. So contradictory, pick the best player available at 1 regardless of who is in your team, yet he says pick Jayden Daniels. He’s dreaming. All bar one or two misses he has been a miracle worker for the bears.

Paying JF1 when you have two 1st and 2 second round draft picks each year for the next 3 yrs is a great choice.. dont need many Free Agents when you have so many picks.. Bears need to trade down with the Raiders.. period.
Could trade with patriots for like 4 firsts lol.
There two firsts this year pick- 11, 23, 2025 first and 2026 1st.
Hell nahh lol
lol - _"Big pole Poles"_ - This is the first time I heard that 😄
I think the Bears can win with Fields, but I understand them not wanting to mess up with the #1 pick. The franchise has been bad for a long time. Keeping Fields and drafting Marvin Harrison JR to go along with Keenan Allen and DJ Moore would be crazy. Plus they now have Swift at RB. Kmet is a solid TE. That offense could be pretty good.
No point in having elite receivers when your qb is godawful. Imagine how frustrated those guys will be fighting over 165 total pass yards a game. It’s not gonna happen.
@@samismith8752 luckily the qb isn't awful. The point you were trying to make is awful
@@samismith8752 Well stated
@@jimmy_butlerYeah that's why there was no trade market for him and why his passing stats were not even in the TOP 40 among qbs this season. Sure thing, bud. The guy isn't good. His future is as a Taysom Hill-like gadget player, not as a quarterback.
Williams is the best overall player in this draft, because he is a QB. If we are just talking about the best, and any position, he is approximately the 5th-7th best player in this draft? It is somewhere in that neighborhood.
Not one person calling him Big Pole Poles lol. Not happening
Ye we sticking with King Poles
Why can't we keep Justin and draft a QB and put the rookie on the bench for a year and then decide in 2025 if we keep Justin.
It always seems to work for GB and KC why not the Bears.
This covers Poles butt from getting fire, by having insurance if he doesn't have a good year.
Do people not realize the Charger have the 5th overall pick 😂
Maxx Crosby 2024 DPOY!!!
Your Justin colt member. He gone buddy
@@matthewcruikshank I'm truly not, I do like fields but it's mostly that I don't like how Caleb carries himself and I don't think he will transition to the NFL as well as people think. this is the perfect opportunity to give Fields the best receiving core he's ever had and say this is it. No more excuses. He has had terrible teams and coaching staffs around him so it's not all on him. I'd rather keep Fields than get Williams. I don't think he is the answer and will end up being a bust wherever he goes. Everyone thinks he is the next Mahomes or Luck but he's nowhere close and he has a huge ego. what draft prospect doesn't participate in the combine?
He’s not that guy. Fields literally didn’t throw the ball to WRs that had 2 yards of separation. Caleb gives them a better shot

Keep the 4th best QB in the Division 👍
Please do so we can all keep laughing at that dumbass organization. 😂😂
Comparing bustin to Peyton is wild 😂
This move is tricky because the bears fans wanted Marvin Harrison Jr so they could load the offense up and keep Fields but now they don't need Marvin Jr anymore, So the question is did they do this trade for Caleb or Justin..
Keep Fields and have Marvin add to the wide receiver room. Nothing wrong with being deep at receiver and it would make Justin's life easier at QB.
Having Harrison or another of the receivers is still a good idea
This is a big money move to start winning now with the generational QB prospect that everyone else wants. Fields is a great guy and makes some exciting plays here & there, but this is a business decision. Bears didn’t make this move with Keenan Allen just to turn around and pay Fields $25 million per year with the 5th year option next year. The Bears made this move because their 4 year championship window is opened as soon as Caleb Williams comes to Chicago and is making a rookie wage scale.
Allen is 32 and he was never going to outrun any #1 or #2 receiver.
This sounds about right. At first I thought maybe the Bears had a high asking price but now it's clear they just have no intention on moving him
I just don’t think the bears have much leverage to shop him. Other teams will just wait for him to be released if that is the case.
Or maybe the Bears are just asking for too much. I think they screwed up and overestimated Fields’ value.
This has draft day trade written all over it
I don’t believe that at all. I think they tried to shop him and at best got a fourth rd pic and had to pivot. I don’t believe your comment at all
Dan talking 💩. So contradictory, pick the best player available at 1 regardless of who is in your team, yet he says pick Jayden Daniels. He won’t answer if he thinks MHJ or Alt are the best players available. Also if he thinks poles is losing his job after getting more, sweat, Keenan allen, building one of the best defences, and on top of that if he gets a haul of picks from trading back and also gets MHJ or Odunze making one of the best receiver groups of the NFL, as well as having a haul of future 1s and 2s from the trade down to change this franchise for the long term. He’s dreaming. All bar one or two misses he has been a miracle worker for the bears.
This hurt⚡️ gonna miss you S1AY3R
Poles will take the kings ransom for the top pick and get Marvin Jr too🤙

It is laughable now. Fields has been a bottom third starter by every metric for three years. The rest of the league has made it clear they are not all that interested in trading for him, or based off the interest in Getsy as a play caller and Darnell Mooney as a receiver regard him all that highly. The Bears have the opportunity to upgrade the position without sacrificing additional draft capital, players, or money as was the case for when they brought in Fields, Trubisky, and Cutler. What are these Bears fans scared of? The only bar Caleb has to clear to justify the selection is being better than a bottom third starter who couldn't throw for 2,600 yards in any of his three seasons or get sacked at a lower rate than David Carr.
