Cool! Do you know if I can control the app Amplitude this way?
The velocity that you strum is send as a MIDI Velocity message. In MIDI Velocity is part of the Note On message.
@@GeoShred Thanks, but I meant that as a general question. Can Geoshred control Amplitude?
By the way, Geoshred is the most fun app I’ve had since I bought my first iPhone in 2010 ☺️ Great work!
@@percarlen1024 I'm not clear what you mean by "control amplitude".
- Do mean noteOn Velocity? Seach for Velocity in the FAQ. There are lots of topics about this.
- Do you mean amplitude like volume. All presets have a Volume control on the right hand side of the control surface that is mapped to MIDI Volume (CC7)
- Do you mean amplitude like a swell. You can assign various controllers to KeyY (MPE CC74) so that you can swell by sliding vertically. Look at the preset "Fripper Finger Swell".

What are you wanting to do?
What are you talking about Amplitube? Certainly you could use GeoShred as an AUv3 plugin in a host like AUM and route the audio through Amplitube.
