A good idea is to make your design on a piece of cardstock the size of your hat, which you can then glue onto your hat.This also gives you a chance to redo something if you mess up. :)

i got the flowers from Michael's! hot glue is still standing strong hahah i still have my cap an the flowers haven't budged yet
