  • What a special one this episode is! We had the chance to chat with two of the founders of Knight Transportation, Kevin & Keith Knight, as they shared with us the story of how they built one of the largest truckload carrier businesses in North America. Kevin & Keith also shared stories about their upbringings, loving to play baseball and growing up in the small town of Plain City, Utah, birthplace of some of the most familiar names in trucking today, including Swift Transportation, CR England, Pride Transportation, and of course, Knight Transportation. This is one you're not going to want to skip!

Thanks so much for a warm, heartfelt and inspiring episode. I've been driving for Knight since Sept 2019 and it's been a great experience so far. I needed to maximize my home time to be home to help Mom and you have made it work for me to be there for her. My mom, Gretchen, played a special role with Knight by giving you your very first order. She worked as the controller at Sub Zero Freezer and was always so proud of that experience and the special relationship she had with all of you. It was a fond memory for her recalling that day in her office when you asked her if she would be willing to give your new trucking company a chance. Every time she saw a Knight truck she would replay the story to me. Who would of thought that it would come full circle around, and now I get the opportunity to benefit from that auspicious meeting. Thanks again for creating a wonderful company that has blessed so many people! Mike G

This was one heck of a history lesson gentleman! With all my conversations with Keith and Kevin I've sort of pieced together some of the story of Knight but man this was great! I've got a little more respect for the grain loads I take now lol. I remember Keith's stories of traveling to California to shake hands and gaining customers in person. Inspirational!
Two great guys who truly love and respect us.
