If your gas gauge has stopped working, consider it your reminder to change filter. After 2005 pump,filter and sending unit are all one part. Pay for quality parts unless there is a For Sale sign already in windows.
I took out my fuel pump out my 05 trailblazer ext ls and I couldn’t find the fuel filter so I found out it’s in the tank also and im wondering if you could tell me where on/in the tank is the fuel filter?
Is it possible to damage the tank by changing the fuel pump? I have fuel leaking somewhere around the filter neck when filling up tank. 3/4 task nothing leaks. No problems with this before getting the fiuel pump installed 🤦🏽♂️
the pump i bought from you guys was cracked in the box new and i have been trying to contact you for a refund for 2 weeks. I lost my job because of this video
Finally, someone gives the torque specs for strap bolts, I assume the cross bar doesn't matter. but ill keep looking for those as well but thanks for solving half my problem...
I'm curious... My gas gauge was working occasionally. It would always start at Empty but it would take a 1/2 hour of driving before it would show any fuel and it would rise only very slowly... I don't think there's anything wrong with either the gauge or the Pump... It drives... So, I'm wondering if there could be a Short in a connection, at the Tank... The Pump was replaced a couple of years ago, so I think the Sender should be ok too... I'm an old man and would not want to drop the whole Tank, etc. just to fix a Short... Wondering if you have a video that might address this issue...??? Thanks 🙂

Typical, you didn’t show the little button on the top and smaller hose of the three that you first tried to release. Or how it was eventually released. You conveniently jumped to the two larger hoses that are much easier. Hours later I’m still struggling with the upper and smaller hose. The filter hoses by comparison are easy. You might mention not to damage the main hose of the filler assembly that goes into the tank, because it’s not manufactured any longer. The whole assembly would need to be purchased.

Is there a reason you don't bother with Penetrating Oil or LPS1 to undo those rusty fasteners?
