After the ending, I believe these were the questions that Johan had after her mother gave him away for the experiment
And in the ending, Anna and Tenma refused to shoot him until the end. Tenma, knowing all what Johan did still choose to forgive him and give him another chance. So that answers his long question of "who wants you?"
@@AlexisSaniel and that answer proves johans belief that all humans have in common is death and that life is meaningless wrong. If tenma would’ve shot him he would’ve proved him right which is the whole reason tenma saved him.

Yep, this show's definitely an easy 9. It would have been a 10, but it was a little too dragged out for me. Could've been 5 or 6 episodes shorter. But that's just me.

Well.. I mean.. I can see both sides to the spectrum.
Well as long as human beings exist we will always distinguish the things as not equal to us. Whether it's racisim or some over religious matter. But nobody knows after death, so the fear of death and death is equal, everybody, white, black, hispanic,Asian etc or Christian,Muslim, hindu, Buddhist etc. Or even human, animals or plants. EVERY living being will be treated equally by death. They will die.
Unless there is a unequal life after death as well

Many thoughts are labelled as "idealism" when they are very much possible but due to the tainted glass that many look through in this world because almost everyone hold some sort of trauma with them with others being alot more destructive to others neuroticism is not a rare thing to come but on the other hand the contrary is. Even if we may be "little flashes" in the universe we still have the abilities as capable human beings to actualise what we want. Even if it may not look like it there is enough for everyone many just do not realise it. Are all lives equal? To me this does not matter if we reach a state in the world where neuroticism isnt the norm and maaaany other things where there are just too many to mention and the majority of the populous are able to actualise a meaningful, fulfilling and desirable life (however that may look its not just limited to wealth and etc as many think) the matter of everyone being equal doesnt matter because everyone is satisfied anyways. There is so much I'm not mentioning i could talk forever on just this one topic while referring to other's. Since everything is connected and all.

I personally really like Johan, but idea of nihilism is laughable honestly. Johan survived horrible life and he can speak for himself that death is only thing here. Anyway, life is meaningless in begining and you are the one who makes it worth or not
Your life will always be worth something, every fiber in your body is worth something and will become something (it's the law of conservation of mass, at least i think that's the name)
But in social and human standards that statement is probably true
