Well I have a 2022 Pine Green Royal Enfield Himalayan as well, and as far I am concerned you do you! I am also a big guy and had to get Motoport Bespoke Jacket, Overpants, and Gloves. So I’ll gear up for both of us.. Keep it off the freeway and under 60 and she will reward you for mileage. What is funny is how stupid fun it is… Mine has Panniers, RE hand guards, SRC GPS mount, SRC Fuel tanks… Mine goes 70 easy enough…. Speed limited by warning in the Panniers and you are easily 50+ lbs lighter than me and even accelerates up overpasses no problem. That bike is needs to be measured in Smiles Per Mile.
I have a Yamaha xt225. I almost bought a Royal Enfield Himalayan. I sometimes wish i did. The yamaha is great . Runs great .easy to fix. Reliable. But i always have liked that royal Enfield. If someone i knew has one id trade straight across or something. But then my Yamaha is only 240 pounds. That is,where the Yamaha shines. I rather be lugging mine thru single track than 400 pounds of Royal Enfield. Anyone hating on bikes is a moron. At least these are not chinesium Amazon bikes. Take care.

Have had my Himalayan for two years and love it. Speed? I’ve had 75mph. Wife has Meteor 350 and these bikes are great for the country roads

I’m right there with you. Stupid fun. It might be the most fun bike I’ve ever had. I do have some gear, just not enough haha. Ride safe man!
