The Pokemon GO card set has been out for about a month now. And after going through box after box, I've yet to pull a single one of my goal cards: the Radiant Charizard, Radiant Blastoise, & Radiant Venusaur. So we're trying our luck again today with the Pokemon GO Team collection boxes!

The reason behind Melmetal being so prevalent in the Pokemon GO set is because both Meltan and Melmetal were introduced in Pokemon GO.
And even though they are classified in the Sun and Moon dex, you couldn't use them in the mainline games till Sword and Shield came out with Melmetal also getting a Gigantamax form that you got when you paired Pokemon Go with Home.
H could use them in lets go eevee and pikachu
Meltan and melmetal are actually categorized as originating from an unknown reigon neither galar or Alola

Personally I don't think you need to change anything.. This simple, "low-budget" style is just very nice :3 And it gives me good FEHeroes feels as opening Pokémon card packs is somewhat similar to summoning heroes after all :P If there was one thing I'd change about this channel, and I had to say something, then maybe I'd suggest opening more than just Pokémon packs? Which is of course not what this channel is about, but it's nice to see other stuff mixed in.. maybe.. I don't know..
I agree I personally like when the price of the card pulled shows up but maybe that’s just me

I’ve had crazy luck with this set, 4 radiant charizards, the city mewtwo, a rainbow spark trainer card, and 6 dittos :) as well as a ton of v/vstars
Same bro I pulled so many radiants the city mewtwo the gold mewtwo rainbow professor but only 2 dittos

I like the channel a lot, but i would really love to see more of the Steven Universe packs!! They were really interesting!
Also, i would love it if you held the cards differently so that you don't cover parts of the cards in the front, but ofc you should do what you prefer!
Meltan can only evolve into melmetel via pokemon go, this makes it very valuable in the game. It was also introduced in pokemon go before the mainline series games. This could be a reason for why there is so many representation in this set.
You should do a vid on buying a vmax climax booster box, it’s a Japanese set that has a guaranteed hit in every pack it’s around $75 for a booster box of them(btw Japanese boxes only have 10 packs)

I mean… if they really were “steel” type, they would be weak to electricity, so calling them “metal” might actually be more accurate to what they are instead of what they are actually named.
In the tcg, steel type is referred to as Metal energy. And electric type is known as lightning energy. kinda weird, I know.

Suggestion because you asked for them. Not sure how comfortable you are with face cam but, if you are and have the space to set one up, being able to actually see your reaction as you open pack would be nice.
How you can’t pull radiants I can’t pull a ditto. I have doubles of the radiants but not a single freaking ditto I’m so mad haha
Don’t peel all the dittos what if an unpeeled ditto ends up being worth something because everyone peeled them
I would say add a webcam to show your reactions, it would make the videos so much better. But btw your videos are still great!
I think you helped reawaken the Pokémon Card collecting phase I went through when I was younger.
I would love to see how you store and organize your cards in a future video and if you do anything different with the cards you want to grade vs cards your going to store in a binder, among other things

The content on this channel is honestly so chill! Lots of Pokétubers give really high-energy videos, but you're hella genuine with your reactions and it's a nice change of pace!! ughhh i'm having the same luck issues but for peelable ditto 😭i've opened dozens of packs and have gotten alt art mewtwo, 2 radiant venusaurs, and even a rainbow rare dragonite, but none of the 3 potential peelable ditto cards!!!!!

Hi (: love the content! As someone who was never really into the card game your videos have definitely converted me. If I had to suggest something, it would be adding a summary of what the rare/desired pulls of each box are (:

honestly the content you are making is already great you seem like you are having a lot of fun with the content you are making and enjoying yourself even watching the videos over time you have improve but honestly if you want to make some new or different kinds of content maybe try going to some of the pokemon tcg events a fun one to start with are the pokemon tcg prerelease which are tournaments that you can go to and get some cards from the pokemon sets about 1-3 weeks before the set release and they have promos that are only in the prerelease kits the ones for lost origin should be starting around 2nd-3rd week of august depending on where you are at so i suggest asking around your local comic or videogames stores to see if they do prerelease and if you can film it maybe get some friends to join you as well
the prerelease are normally a 25$ buy in and i do recommend bringing a few things being
a set of card sleeves (decks for prerelease are 40 cards so just make sure it is a matching set of sleeves)
a deck box (to well hold your deck)
a set or 2 of dice and a burn and posion counters and a vstar marker in case (pretty much what you normally get from a elite trainer box)
but other then that unless you want to bring a binder with extra cards you are willing to trade to maybe get things you want you dont need to bring anything else
but honestly i think it would be interesting to see you play the pokemon card game and see how you like it and if you do like it to maybe see you get better at it with time there are a lot of events you can try and go to rather it is locally or traveling around the us to go to the pokemon regionals or bigger events even if you dont want to play competively i think this is a cool way to meet more people in the community
considering the 2022 season is about to be ending with worlds being later this month it would be a good time to maybe get into the card game and try it if you like it! anyway sorry for the long comment and i know that there are a lot of newer pokemon fans for this channel so if anyone has any questions about tcg events or how to play the game i dont my answering some questions

Melmetal I believe is exclusive to pokemon go or was introduced by pokemon go. Still don't know why the sun and moon Era needed an extra mythical pokemon.....and still not a fan of pokemon go

My friend pulled 2 radiant cards out of a Elite Trainer Box. And uh, you haven’t pulled a radiant yet 8:07. And would they grade the ditto or the numel? It’s like the chicken or the egg. The radiants are pretty simple to pull from what I’ve seen (because I have never opened Pokémon go) it just isn’t simple for you… but I love the channel!!! PS. Did. You. Call. Eevee. DOG?
Not here to brag or to make a deal of it, mostly just genuinely curious and surprised: I opened my first bundle of the Go set about 3 weeks ago, and got a radiant charizard amidst my first 4 packs. Immediately I was shocked because oh wow, a holographic charizard card is ALREADY amazing, but then I started thinking. Has anyone else had issues finding the other two radiant starters? They seem to be the more elusive to me, but maybe that’s just my luck running out ^^’

I pulled rainbow Mewtwo vstar and radiant Charizard from my first etb of pogo. TBH I don't think anyone will believe me. I also pulled a alt art Rayquaza VMAX but that took a while

There’s probably so many Melmetal cards because it and it’s pre-evolution are the only Pokémon exclusive to Pokémon Go
I enjoyed your first few videos. You should definitely learn the pokemon, name pronunciation, and the over all landscape of the set your pulling. Not because you making a goofy comment or bumbling on a name is bad, but it limits the way you are interacting with the pulls in a way that makes you feel repetitious.
I liked your giving the audience backstory on your emotions relating it to the team rocket groudon. That's the kind of thing that's really fleshing out your content since it both shows off your knowledge of the material but also the basis for your passion and emotion.
You’re unlucky with the radiant cards. In terms of radiant cards I have pulled radiant venusaur and radiant charizard from a total of 34 packs.
I have a radiant venusaur and radiant blastoise ( both I packed ) and I am getting a radiant charizard ( not I have packed ) so I hope you get each one and an ampharos,flaaffy, and mareep! Note. Now I have a radiant charizard

There's actually such thing as a Shiny Pokemon card I thought those were fake because if you have a chance of getting a Shiny Pokemon card it's probably going to be the same chance as you have one of getting a actual shinny Pokemon in a game

I’ve been enjoying your content recently but my main gripe is your lack of knowledge on Pokémon as a whole and I would absolutely say try to learn more about the series as a whole nothing major like playing through everything but like maybe play one of the newer games (maybe a generation you know very little about) or something maybe even try out Pokémon go for a bit like anything to learn more about the modern franchise

Is this voiced over, sometimes it seems Foafy can just predict what the card is as he pulls it. Nothing wrong with it but sometimes it seems off putting and disingenuous.
