I honestly thought that Littlefinger's suggestion that Arya wanted to be the Lady of Winterfell that Sansa clued in that he's up to something because Arya would never want to be the Lady of Winterfell.
Tyrion offered Shae a faraway palace with servants and money to keep her safe and happy. She definitely had a choice. She testified against him out of spite.
Don’t break the heart of someone who has shown themselves to be fiercely passionate as well as possessive and jealous. Even if you’re trying to protect them, they won’t ever thank you for it.
Just so you should know. Shea was a greedy whore that really wasnt for Tyrion. He had to my ay her for every moment. HBO blended her character with his first wife. She loved Tyrion. Tywinn had all the guards have sec with her and cast her aside to a whore house. Tyrion forever pursued whores in search of her.
you guys are still asking about this?? c'mon, man. it's obvious. and it's not because he sang to them. podrick only sang to us, the audience because d&d wrote that in and the actor who plays podrick can sing. the whores on the show are used to experienced men who controls the sex.. prodrick on however always appreciated women and he was a virgin on top of that.. this, is a new experience for the whores which in turn led them to new enjoyment. and so, he got free sex.

Honestly that scene would have undermined Sansas’ development. I just assumed her experience with Littlefinger told the tale. She knew his bs and how he worked.
Sansa's development is horrible and pointless since she acts like she is now playing the game but unless she betrays her own family she can't progress. She is limited by Jon's decisions and so her character as the new intrigue master becomes limited especially when everything given to her is instant and we don't see her resulting scheming.
Very true. I figured she and Arya came to their senses and talked it out like women instead of girls. It was better without Bran using magic to figure out a liar is a liar.
High Marshal Helbrecht ... that’s a crazy assertion. Most of the best players in the game of thrones weren’t even royalty thus they had no shot at raising to the Iron Throne. Yet they still played the game better than anybody.
I’m excited for the the final scene to be Robert Baratheon waking up from a dream, only to say “Damn...” and then go back to fucking and drinking 🤷🏼♂️
Maybe Sophie can't sing :X I dunno probably dnd think it is lame felt they cant portray that well and let podrick sing instead. I mean even the iron throne shrunk in size wat u expect
I do totally think Bran is more Stark than he realises. He is the Three-eyed Raven and has access to many powers and much knowledge now - he sees the big picture no-one else can see. But it is his upbringing as Bran Stark that directs what he does with those powers and how he interprets that big picture.
Slash kill the Night King which was truly the only threat he was meant to deal with from a wheelchair in a world where no believes in him as the raven.
I'm glad Sansa and Bran scene was not there. It leaves the Stark sisters in a bad light. One scene with Littlefinger kept in shows that Sansa figured it out that was kept in. Littlefinger tried to lead her on, but she figured it out right there.
That all plot was a mess. She knew that littlefinger conspire against Jon arryn death, murder Lysa to keep a secret. Was sold to Ramsey by his hand. So in at what point she would trust him again to even think Arya would want to do anything against her? One thing is distrust Arya by her behaver, another thing is Trusting in Littlefinger. Plus, there was no real danger for her even playing the "game". The moment she told about Jon arryn death and the involvement of littlefinger, the Knights of the Valley turn against him. There was no need to Bran come in. After all that was not even a trial... it was a death sentence. So, that Sansa master plan was just ridiculous and pure fanservice. At least the writters could give us a better plot
I am glad that they didn't show how Sansa and Arya came to know of Littlefinger's past. That would have ruined the whole shock about the execution scene.
I completely agree! Was thinking the same thing. It definitely made the point much stronger as we the audience, sweated bullets wondering, if only briefly, if Arya was going to be killed.
@Sims with Mei it was never about a happy ending the creator GRRM said in the beginning it was a bitter sweet ending but the twat writers just shatted all over the season and rushed everything g so they can get that Disney money. And their writing makes no sense to what the whole build up to characters and prophecies straight out to the trash.
@Sims with Mei jaimie's redemption arc, Jon snow's "prince that was promised" Tyrion betraying varys when it was varys who it was him who saved his life. You know bran is gonna be king right.. worst possible fucking ending
Yeah. Someone should stab Dany with a dragonglass dagger, not knowing what it does to regular people especially if someone magical were to use it. The Night Queen rises.
It did kinda show that the stark sisters were going against each other maybe because of distrust and disloyalty which would have led to either of their deaths. I'm sorry I can't put it into proper words, my first language isn't English.
@JNike I remember one of earlier episodes where Bran said that he can only see past and present time. I based my opinion on the movie. Please review it and stop condemning me. It was what Bran said.
I take it you are another one of those people who think the Night King was killed too soon (episode 70 of a 73 episode story) and too quickly (the guts of four episodes out of a six episode season) and therefore proves the he was not the real threat after all? The way Sauron was not the real threat in Lord of the Rings because there was still Saruman to deal with after Sauron was defeated? I suppose that is kind of funny.
@@cwam1701e considering he was supposed to be the main threat, yes he died too soon. Also we've got no backstory on him, and that's something everyone expected. Written like this, he just kinda marched south for no apparent reason other than to get killed.
The scene with Bran and Sansa was deleted because it was unnecessary. It was fully clear, once Bran began talking during Littlefinger's trial, that he had used his power and communicated what he knew with Sansa. That didn't need to be depicted to come across. It would have ruined the suspense.
I wonder if that scene was supposed to represent Jon attempting to cut his Stark ties in order to embrace his Targaryen heritage; as ridiculous as it may sound, his telling the cousins he was raised with as siblings, "I'm not a Stark," seemed to indicate that he felt he had to make a choice between Stark and Targaryen. Really quite sad that he couldn't take his own advice to Theon, "You don't have to choose: you are a Greyjoy, and a Stark," when he is _literally_ both Stark and Targaryen.
I realize they'll likely reunite. I realize the ties John may have been cutting and the identity crisis thing... But shit... I will walk stupidly across 5 lanes of heavy traffic just to pet a random pup on the side of the road. And random pups didn't save my life multiple occasions and stick by me thru thick and thin like Ghost had for John. He was a GOOD BOY DAMMIT. PET YOUR FUCKING WOLF!!!
It is. Especially when Bran quotes Littlefinger back to him, "Chaos is a ladder". If there are people who hadn't figured it out yet, then that's people who are not observant or remember key things from seasons past.
Will Wallwork yeah, to us. BamaShanks was talking about us, the viewer. It was super obvious how Sansa and Arya knew about Littlefinger, because of Bran quoting Littlefinger back to him. The viewers who didn’t caught on are a bit slow...
People who can't figure it out from that must have started watching on a recent season(why though?) Even the people in a bar reaction video knew what was happening
Mena Don’t get me wrong, I get it... The writing is just so sloppy and rushed towards the end that we can’t assume anything. We weren’t shown enough to justify what happened here (other than shock value), and unfortunately that theme continued through to the finale 👍🏻 I’m with you guys, don’t hate me 🤣
Take a moment to contemplate the simple truth, that had Jon taken Ghost south, he [Ghost] would most likely have died in Kings Landing. In Drogon's fire. BtW: Who else has considered that Dany discovered Tyrion set Jamie free BEFORE the battle began? I HAS a STRONG feeling in my JELLYs that she [Dany] intended to decapitate Jamie, as Cersei had Missandei. But discovered Tyrion's betrayal, and therefore did not trust the bell [despite hearing the civilians crying out to ring the bell] believing it to be a plot by Tyrion & Jamie..? Or HeLL maybe I am as MaD as the Queen! 😜
If they'd included the Bran and Sansa scene, the audience wouldn't have been surprised by the Littlefinger death. We would've seen it coming. We pretty much figured it out that Bran had supplied them with the info and they were smart to omit it. I also think that Sansa was already onto his bs. Also, Bran reiterates what Littlefinger did at the trial, so we are told how Sansa knew. I don't see the plot gaps there.

Tywin's interest in Mance Rayder had little to do with the white walkers. Far more he considered that if the wildlings were to defeat the Night's Watch and break through the Wall, it would be a disaster for Robb Stark and the north. More chaos on top of the Greyjoy incursion.
Looper: stop NARRATING over the video clips and us listen to the scene instead of your voice. Example: I wanted to hear Pycell's voice while talking with Tywin. Ugh! What poor quality production.
I've had enough of Daenerys fan's criticism of 8-05, I have been a Jon Snow guy since the first episode and I was always arguing that Jon would be a much better ruler than Daenerys, 8-05 proved my point and in my opinion was the Greatest episode in all of GOT, I know that Jon will not rule westeros in the end but will be happy if he lives. (I just wish Ygritte was still alive so that they could be together in the end).
Walking Thrones this echoes my thoughts exactly! He might not have Ygritte, but he will have Ghost! (Fingers crossed on that reunion) Team Jon since the begining!
Honestly, Bran’s character the most underwhelming character of all time . Instead of being a main character, he is now just the quiet and cool wise guy . He express zero emotions , and yet he is almost useless . Why have such a powerful character, only to have them sit around doing nothing . Unlike most people, I’ve actually enjoyed season 8 so far. But bran’s was sacrificed at the expense of Arya and other characters . It’s a shame, because with Arya he was my favorite character in the series . I hope they make something cool with his character in the finale
Well the previous three eyed raven was just sitting around in a tree so I never really expected Bran to do that much. Maybe he is not allowed to intervene?
I thought it was pretty obviously hinted that Bran told Sansa and Arya about Littlefinger's scheming. Especially once he starts recounting Littlefinger's threats and betrayals in that very room.
It's beyond obvious. I mean that was an oh shit moment when Bran did that. Everyone should have been like yep, he's fucked. Bran told them everything. I question the intelligence of alot of fans. Funny thing is these are the same ones that think they're smart because they scream how everything is bad writing.
RichiRich1993 apparently the Prequel that HBO just started filming will tell the story of the children of the forest making the white walkers and of ancient Westeros.

That's not GOT and it's certainly not real life which it trys to base itself off of, despite the magic and dragons etc.
Another thing people tend to miss with the Wolves is both Jon and Arya left theirs to become different people, they aren't really Starks anymore. Arya has turned down her roll as a lady of Winterfell and Jon learnt his real name. Both separations happened around the time when the characters had made up their minds of who they were truly. Wonder if they continue that to the very end of the show or if the scenes we got was the end of that little bit.
Julie Sczesny so?? He never warged into Drogon. Ever. I don’t know where you get that, but Bran and Drogon never had anything to do with one another. No matter how much “warg-jumping” Bran can do.

I'm hoping that jon survives the last episode and goes to live with ghost and the wildlings up in the north. That would be a fitting end for me at this point.
I think Bran should warg into Lyanna in the past and have her say, "I'm sorry, but I don't want to marry you, I'm in love with Rhaegar Targaryen and we're going to get his crazy father off the throne. There's plenty of other women you could marry. You're a fantastic catch and everyone thinks you're hot, including the beautiful Cersei Lannister, though I don't recommend marrying her unless you really love her and can temper her cray. Rhaegar can name you his hand if you want, you don't really want to rule anyway, right?" And that would be that. Ta da!

Though I failed to note many moments of "intense foreshadowing" about how terrible the final season would be, at no point was I sweating bullets that Sansa would murder Arya or vice-versa. In hindsight, I'm shocked the writers didn't contrive some sort of "Ladystark Bowl" with a cliffhanger outcome.

If Sansa had to be shown asking Bran to check the security footage, then no one would ever believe she was mastering the game on her own. It made way more sense to cut it and show her being the smart one, instead of undercutting all of that and her (still) having to be led around by the hand.

Explanation, when Arya found Nymeria and she didn’t want to go North with Arya but she would leave and be free Arya could understand it and said in the series “it’s not you”. At the last episode of season 8 Arya also said she wouldn’t go back North “it isn’t me” she was going west of Westeros to be free. Jon died and got brought back like a Ghost and had the fur of ice and the eyes of fire. Robb of course his dire wolf got killed could be insinuating his fate. Lady making Sansa a lady, what she was always good at.
Im glad someone acknowledged Jon ditching Ghost. Like did he forget WINTER HAS COME? Ghost would be perfectly comfortable staying in Westeros instead of going back north of the wall.
Since Jon has a psychic bond with Ghost I think he knows where he'd prefer to be. Perhaps Jon is accepting - despite his protestations to the contrary - that he's going to have to stay in the South to rule.
BVpinkninja I get you and while it does make sense for me it is the boring choice especially the way he was written to not have any wants anymore. I was always gunning for Jon to be the king in the end as his character arc was always leading in that direction but to see him be banished to the pointless nights watch really left a sour taste in my mouth and for me bran being king is the most disappointing choice they could have gone for.
Sean Carroll John basically became the king beyond the wall at the end tho. He still became something great in the end. If John became king lies and deceiving would still be a thing. John killed Danny, it wouldn’t make sense that all of Danny’s people would just willingly let the man who killed their queen freely get away with it. And it wouldn’t justify Danny’s death. All she wanted was to break the wheel. Danny was become the mad queen so she couldn’t become queen of the 7 kingdoms. And honestly Bran Can break the wheel through his powers. Which is why I personally think it makes sense.
I think the main thing that I find unsatisfying is that they didn't give much explanation about Bran/Three Eyed Raven, or give him much role to play, even though he had been chosen to be an omniscient god.

Seriously, would you want to write 5 seasons of GoT without any source material and only major plot points for the main characters? Commit yourself to doing what so far even GRRM has not been able to do - get the story to where he wants it, and then have to make a TV show out of it as well? I don't understand how anyone doesn't get this: they set out to **adapt** a story for TV not to **write** a story for TV. The reason we are all so invested is because they did a really good job of adapting it. Now they have to write it without source material are we supposed to blame them because they cannot write as well as GRRM? Who does? And even he has not been able to get the story where he wants it - that is why there is no source material any more. The quality of the directing, acting, special effects etc - basically everything about season 8 that is not the actual story suggests that D&D have not given up on it at all; they did their best with it to the very end. Of course the story telling was not going to be as good when there is no story to adapt anymore. If D&D really did lose interest in this story, GRRM lost interest long before they did - he is the one who got the big pay cheque - far more than he ever would have gotten for a book series alone, and he is the one who has basically given up writing it and moved on to other things. He wrote an entire book to be source material for a prequel series while leaving ASOIAF unfinished. If you want to find someone who doesn't care about this story anymore I suggest GRRM is a far more likely candidate.
cwam1701e you’re talking about something completely different, nothing makes sense with what they’re doing, they literally filmed these scenes already, and decided to leave them out. they had 7 seasons of character development and threw it away w dany and jaime. and are we going to ignore the absolute rubbish of a battle plan in episode 3? that was awful. nothing they’re doing makes sense, they’d rather be done than do a good job, end of story

Sansa's development is horrible and pointless since she acts like she is now playing the game but unless she betrays her own family she can't progress. She is limited by Jon's decisions and so her character as the new intrigue master becomes limited especially when everything given to her is instant and we don't see her resulting scheming.
High Marshal Helbrecht oh, totally. This season is terrible.
Book sansa is slowly learning unlike this one she doesn't trust littlefinger
I’m excited for the the final scene to be Robert Baratheon waking up from a dream, only to say “Damn...” and then go back to fucking and drinking 🤷🏼♂️
I wish they would’ve shown Sansa singing to the hound. One of my favorite scenes from the books
Would also make more sense to the viewers why he always calls her a bird

Why are you narrating instead of SHOWING the scenes??
Cuz copyright. If you narrate it becomes commentary and falls under fair use.

Most of them WERE shown. I suspect the couple that weren't were not available to him
“I’m not bran stark I’m the 3 eyed raven” proceeds to only use powers to forward stark goals.
The moment with Bronn and Shea would also foreshadow how he has ended up in season 8 haha
And to make sure sansa didnt look like a stupid
I'm glad they didn't put in anything about Daenerys ahead of time, either. It would have ruined the shock value of her going full napalm.
They could have easily cut to the scene after they killed him, for clarity.
I strongly believe that Sansa and Arya were playing Littlefinger the whole time. Otherwise, their behavior makes no sense
"the scene could've been seen as a little too much, too soon" - that's the whole of season 8 right there

There needs to be a night king to kill season 8 and erase it from everyone's memory history so it can be re-done
@Sims with Mei it was never about a happy ending the creator GRRM said in the beginning it was a bitter sweet ending but the twat writers just shatted all over the season and rushed everything g so they can get that Disney money. No one thought at any point that "one of the Stark sisters might kill the other".

It did kinda show that the stark sisters were going against each other maybe because of distrust and disloyalty which would have led to either of their deaths. I'm sorry I can't put it into proper words, my first language isn't English.

It was what Bran said.
"the white walkers were always a huge threat to westeros" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I kinda enjoyed that element of surprise in Littlefingers death. 🤗
What about John saying goodbye and PETTING HIS GODDAMN WOLF!?!?
CGI budget be DAMNED!!!
It will happen in episode 6, Jon will pet and have his moment with Ghost before the end
There was no budget. HBO offered to throw more money and more episodes in but D&D refused...
@Steve Klemetti They started with real dogs and swiched to CGI
I realize they'll likely reunite. I realize the ties John may have been cutting and the identity crisis thing... But shit... I will walk stupidly across 5 lanes of heavy traffic just to pet a random pup on the side of the road. And random pups didn't save my life multiple occasions and stick by me thru thick and thin like Ghost had for John.
He was a GOOD BOY DAMMIT. PET YOUR FUCKING WOLF!!!
I really wish they had the Ghost scene
I honestly don't know why they didn't include it. Doesn't make sense.
Don't worry in finale you'll get one
I thought it was obvious how they knew about littlefinger.
It is. Especially when Bran quotes Littlefinger back to him, "Chaos is a ladder". If there are people who hadn't figured it out yet, then that's people who are not observant or remember key things from seasons past.
To us yeh, Arya and Sansa probably weren’t up to date with the show though 🤣
Will Wallwork yeah, to us. BamaShanks was talking about us, the viewer. It was super obvious how Sansa and Arya knew about Littlefinger, because of Bran quoting Littlefinger back to him. The viewers who didn’t caught on are a bit slow...

Even the people in a bar reaction video knew what was happening
Mena Don’t get me wrong, I get it...
The writing is just so sloppy and rushed towards the end that we can’t assume anything.
We weren’t shown enough to justify what happened here (other than shock value), and unfortunately that theme continued through to the finale 👍🏻
I’m with you guys, don’t hate me 🤣
Take a moment to contemplate the simple truth, that had Jon taken Ghost south, he [Ghost] would most likely have died in Kings Landing.
As of this writing, Tyrion is in a world of shit.
Ooo if that was the case I wish they would have shown that. Would have made a lot more sense instead of rushing Dany's storyline. She deserved better
Well if they could just do justice to the direwolves I'd be happy! I thought i would see Nymeria fighting at battle of winterfell😑

Jon will end up on the throne, he will have the support from the north, Dorne, and the free folk. Plus he is the rightful heir

Another thing people tend to miss with the Wolves is both Jon and Arya left theirs to become different people, they aren't really Starks anymore.
Maybe they're angling to make even more money by releasing "extended" episodes, like Lord of the Rings did?
Im glad someone acknowledged Jon ditching Ghost. Like did he forget WINTER HAS COME? Ghost would be perfectly comfortable staying in Westeros instead of going back north of the wall.
Since Jon has a psychic bond with Ghost I think he knows where he'd prefer to be. Perhaps Jon is accepting - despite his protestations to the contrary - that he's going to have to stay in the South to rule.

Bran being the king makes sense . People can’t lie to him and there can actually be justice y’all mad for no reason.
And honestly Bran Can break the wheel through his powers. so D&D not only said they don’t wanna do 10 episodes when offered, but they take out key points in the episodes (that could be longer) that fill in plot holes. they don’t even care anymore guys. they really dont

Also apparently Lady Karstark was killed and we literally didn't see this. I personally have always thought that Cersei and Dany should have taken EACH OTHER OUT. Did the writers forget that Cersei has WILDFIRE??? Apparently so.
This is what I don't get.....if Bran knew of all the stuff with Little Finger why he could not see what was going to happened at Kings Landing.🤔...hell his high ass is part of the problem. He should have known Tyrion was going to free his brother to help their sister 🤨. He's should have saw all of this unfold before it happened. He's that three eyed Raven alright 🤨 on high-quality pharmaceuticals 🤔
He can't see into the future dumbass
He can only see people’s past he can’t see the future
@@saureld2448 🤔 he saw Drogon over Kings Landing before it happened. He knew Arya was going to kill the Knight King.......
@@taylorday6244 ....OH REALLY 🤔 if I'm a dumbass you must be SHIT-FOR-BRAINS.....go back and watch old episodes...DAMN ASSCLOWN.
He sees EVERYTHING that is past but doesn't do the future. He's not a jedi or a red priestess.
Imagine Tywin,Ned,Robert and the Blackfish in the battle of winterfell.
A lot less people would've died, better defenses, just better everything.
Imagine Stannis and/or Randall Tarly being involved in the military strategy and fighting.
Imagine King Robert rolling over in his grave at Dothraki screamers on the loose in King's Landing! And you can bet he's blaming Cersei! LOL
Robert was a prophet.....turns out.
They'd be dead because they wouldn't have Dany. So actually alot more people would have died.
